Pro-tip: that's exactly how you can completely disable your gun, permanently, without a lot of luck or destructive repairs!

Which, given that trooning out is a destructive "fix" to the problem of being a mentally ill freak, with irreversible consequences, is completely on brand and unintentionally poetic...

My political beliefs have become "against current thing" for now and probably forever, so I can stay counter cultural no matter what. Its partially cause of these people and I cant stand them, I cant stand radicalism of any sort and counter culture always seems more free for some reason. As much as cultural cycles change, one thing is for sure, trannys are mentally ill and these people are fucking retarded for doing the heinous shit theyre doing.
Love you, but I disagree. I think this sort of apathy is really what the ultimate point of "current thing"-ism is. Get everyone all together with slogans and positing with no actual changer ever taking place. For all the "defund the police" NPCing, what departments actually saw budgets cut? Always supporting or opposing Current Thing contributes in the same way to the false aesthetic of civic engagement without action or results.

I think about this a lot in the context of John Oliver. His show does a better job than most at examining corruption and those who benefit from it. However, this is laundered through such a cringe-reddit way that it could never lead to action. The soyboys who watch get to feel like they did something when they share a youtube link and call it a day.

Midjourney has a newish feature called 'describe', where you upload a picture and it describes it back to you. It was fun to try it on pictures of my family and friends to see what keywords it described them with. 'cottagecore', 'emotionally complex', 'intense laborer', 'dinopunk'(?), stuff like that. I also converted some of their portraits into illustrations, and they turned out surprisingly good. I might have finished my holiday shopping early this year.

But despite my better judgement, I tried the same things with a couple of my own selfies --my best selfies--and was pretty devastated by the keywords it chose, things like: 'pre-op', 'woman with facial hair', 'made of trash' (?!), 'gender bending', 'drag', stuff like that. Which sucks, because I picked pictures where I thought I actually kinda passed, selfies that reflected extensive prep and shaving and color correcting, portraits I was considering using as my new coming-out profile pics.

Then I thought maybe if I convert the selfies into illustrations, it would be a salve, since the pics of my friends became way more attractive in the rendered illustrations. But not for me. The results were exaggerated caricatures of drag queens/kings. 🤢 Not the look I thought I was projecting...

And now I'm crawling under a rock. It will probably be awhile before I get enough confidence again to be seen in public. And even when I do, I don't know if I'll ever be able to trust my own assessment of how I look again.

There needs to be overhaul, not budget cuts. Cops don't make hardly anything, are hated by most people (god knows I do) and aren't properly taught de escalation methods. What happens if you cut even further? You get bottom of the barrel, non qualified people when half are already barely qualified to begin with, or straight up incompetent.
Realistically, are you going to still claim ACAB if someone holds a gun to you, steals your car, or damages your property? Because I doubt most people who claim, will.
If you actually want to make a difference, get involved in state affairs, especially about referendums, policies and taking an active role in setting up better programs for police. THAT is how change happens, by actually doing very difficult, frustrating, thankless work. Should this have been done from the get go? Absolutely. Is it your place to do it? Not really.
But if you want change, that's how you do it, not cutting funds and making a bad situation even worse.

You just have no principles beyond laughing at retards online. That is fine, but it's not really politics.

I think this counts as a L.
Tranny insanity / this totally happened story aside (yeah sure, this guy definitely thought you were a hapless lady te-hee), the way this is written, you know he thinks he is being super clever and witty, but it only makes me irrationally angry. "mammary-induced prior remembrance"? Please kill yourself right now.

Are you watching a different John Oliver to the rest of us? Are you talking about the Brummie cunt who spends all his time shilling for the corporate elite?

That guy doesn't do a good job of anything -- other than enraging me every time I see his smug, complacent bourgeois face. He's like a male Ana Kasperian:

"I'm better than you. I'm SO much better than you."

Its not apathy, its just the realization that apart from basic moral principles, all sides will always fight each other and literally the best solution for the average person is to disengage completely. This is probably most closely associated to libertarianism but I dont want to polisperg too much here. The thing which the average person should realize quicker is no matter the change the hassle is still the same. Culture will swing constantly but every regime will go through the stages of counter culture->reform->establishment->corruption->authoritarianism->destruction so its better not to pick a side or constantly switch sides than to pick a side.

Yeah, I can't disagree much with you and I wish I had found a better example. The obnoxiousness goes with my point though. He's the way corporate powers can launder things in a way that will ensure there's never momentum for people to actually organize. Take his medical debt stunt from a few years back. The show bought 15 million in delinquent medical debt for pennies on the dollar and did a big song and dance, (maybe literally?) about forgiving it. It ought to be pretty radical to show a large, national audience this usurious barnacle on the medical system. Instead it's le epic cringe.

further proof all trannies are face blind autists

I am putting a thousand bucks on "Things that happened in this trannies imagination".
That definitely didn't happen, at most the tranny was looking at the thing and the guy got to it before him. But the whole thing is a "I'm such a woman that men feel entitled to do things like this to me! Aren't men the worst, and isn't my skirt just so, so very spinny?"

A reddit tranny ordered DIY hormones off the internet and got them confiscated by Finnish customs who suspected they were steroids. Later finnish police came by and confiscated all vials from his house.
I looked at the OPs post history, there isnt much to be honest but thought this post was funny enough in and of itself. There is him posting about some weird porn game though but I couldn't really even figure out what the post was about asside from that. I think its like whatever settings he is using or something.

Finnish customs stole and destroyed my hormone vials illegally, forcing me to detransition

My country, Finland, has some pretty strict laws when it comes to treating transgender people, of which many have been criticized by other EU countries. To get diagnosed and start hormone treatment, you have to convince several, often uninformed gatekeepers people that you have "serious dysphoria". The process is slow and mentally exhausting. Doctors can suggest outdated treatments (like spinoro), and there's even the issue of sterilization and requirement of passing the "real-life test" for more advanced MtF treatment.
I didn't want to lie to get my treatment, so I chose the quicker and easier way, and got estradiol enanthane hormone vials from a transgender contact. To the best of my knowledge, it's legal to own (but not to sell) these.
Last December, I got caught up in a drug case. Finnish customs searched my shared living space. They weren't looking for hormones, but they took all substances that looked like drugs. I told them I'd been on hormones for six months and stopping would be awful for my appearance and mental health. I requested for the vials to be given back asap.
The transparent 10 ml vials were expensive for a student. They had rubber caps and were self-sealing like vaccine vials, so you could withdraw a small amount of the solution with a needle without breaking the vials. They were also explicitly labeled "estradiol enanthane."
The customs officers thought the vials were steroids, which are illegal. Despite my frequent requests, I didn't get them back. My mental health suffered, and I started to look more detransition.
Between the third and fourth month of this year, the responsible officer told me the lab had "confirmed the vials didn't contain drugs". But they were "destroyed in the investigations." I explained everything, but was only given the excuse that the vials contained "non-allowed prescription substances." This is ridiculous, considering women can get the estrogen pills without a prescription from pharmacies.
I feel mistreated. I want to spend my life on female hormones. Being forced to go through last stages of male puberty and the relatively large loss of money (three vials was enough for 2-3 years) have been depressing. As is the struggle to get started on HRT again.
There are many trans people who think DIY is the only way, and many who think the official path is always right. I can't say more about the drug investigation, other than it was in shared living spaces. Please, let's not get sidetracked by debating about about DIY / an investigation I can't speak about. Focus on the legal / ethical matters and your experiences.
