Exactly this. They're doing the same thing that they watch groups like troons, anti-white (specifically) race hustlers/BLM and others do in the west and they're just copying from that playbook. They know that they can punch you in the face and get you to apologize for making them a victim. Anything you do (even if it wasn't actually you, just someone from the past) you're to be blamed until the end of time. Anything they do either didn't happen or wasn't really their fault. They know that in the west, if you're a minority, claiming "weakness" is actually your biggest strength.

Acknowledging the Armenian, Assyrian or Greek genocides would bring the entire founding myth of the modern state of Turkey into question, even if the entire world already knows better. They never can and they never will. It would be like if America came out and said that Washington crossing the Delaware was fabricated, Paul Revere fell off of his horse after 100 meters and the Boston Tea Party was just some drunk sailors accidentally dropping some shit overboard. Turkey implying that their colonial history isn't at least as bad as France's is also completely laughable. Serbs want to remove kebab for a reason.

If you’re considering a change in views, you underestimate these pro refugee groups. They are some of the truest of true believers. If anything, I’m willing to bet the group goes through some turmoil.

Refugee supporters(who aren't Jews) tend to be dyed in the wool true liberals. As in, they really firmly believe with all their hearts, their helping the oppressed brown people, that they are compassionate, emotionally developed, and filled with love.

Occasionally their pet idols turn on them, but the underlying psychology-of true hearted "I cry when I see black kids in africa" liberalism remains intact.
