it came out in 2019, that was a bit before troonshit really pushed itself into the mainstream.
I think they were more going for the borderlands version of WITNESS ME fury road from 4 years earlier.
It was the Mad Max team that made Rage 2 for Beth, right?

Apparently, I was not aware of the fact that AEW has a video game and everyone is comparing it to WWF: No Mercy

After watching this, I had to go back and watch actual compilation videos of WWE SmackDown: Here Comes The Pain and Shut Your Mouth! and honestly, I’m still trying to figure out how I missed a game like this release just over a few days ago.

The consensus of the game, is that while it is fun, the lack of content, compared to the WWE 2K Games, and even MDickie's wrestling games to an extent, means that the game does not warrant the $60 (or was it $70) price tag that it has. The AEW tribalistic overzealous defending of the game, doesn't help it's reputation either.

Yeah, i got it and the in ring is really good but pretty much everything else is very lacking.

I really hate those videos where some fag claims they will tell you where you can get ROM's and then they just spend the video telling you about how they can't because ROM's are illegal. Like why even fucking bother making a video then? Just keep letting people find out on their own or someone else can tell them specifically where to find the fucking ROM's. Now I know a reliable site that has ROM's and ISO's. It's a not a problem for me. But you have faggots in these videos telling people to Google the name of the ROM knowing the Google search is going to show them a bunch of ROM sites that used to be good and had all kinds of ROM's years ago. But after Nintendo started cracking down on ROM's years ago a lot of these sites no longer have the really popular games people are looking for. Especially first part Nintendo games. Anything that includes Mario any other Nintendo character or it was a game developed by Nintendo and these sites had to get rid of them. One of the more popular sites just shut down. I think it was being ran by a guy and his wife. Then some of the other sites are under new ownership and they do all kinds of shady shit now. They either make you jump through a bunch of hoops to get a ROM that might not even work expect you to download a downloader which is retarded or the site could give your PC a virus or some type of malware.

When I see this videos I just tell people to go to Vimm's Lair. It's what I use, and I have never had any issues. I got all my ROM's and ISO's from there.

I mean these types of videos.

Most of the games are 20+ years old and some even 30 or older. No one cares if you download them. A lot of them are abandonware now.

Anyone know any good "white noise" games? I'm looking for shit to play in the background while I've got a podcast running and everything I've got takes too much focus to play.

Civ 5 is my favorite to play to kill time; you can play relatively mindlessly and still compete with sweaty friends.

I really hate this never ending, nostalgia tinted circlejerk over No Mercy from online rasslin fans, especially since it seems to only come from aew fanboys/"smart" marks in general. It was an alright game for its time but thats it. It doesn't hold up at all, and the only people who say it does haven't played it since the 64 or they're on PC and have it loaded with so many mods its not even the same game anymore.

And as far as the AEW game itself? It's just a shit attempt at being SYM/HCTP. Which is just fucking hilarious considering the promotions entire reason for existing is "FUCK EVERYTHING ABOUT WWE/FUCK NEW YORK(insider term hur dur)". Like why not try and be a better Fire Pro that doesn't play like shit, instead of once again trying to poorly copy the evil federation? Especially when they and they're fans pretend to be massive Nippon worshipping weebs? Oh yeah, cause that would be harder than just ripping off two of the most beloved games in the genre while comparing it to the most overhyped game in the genre. Doing something new and unique would require effort, and aew can't do that. It looks like a bad combination of the TNA game and the Legends of Wrestling/Wrestlemania/All Stars games.

Their only saving grace is that they can be assured they're sycophantic fanbase will gobble it up, no matter how good it actually is. And they have an owner who's more than happy to spend his daddy's money for good reviews if it's not.

I finished the Aliens game today.

Pros
Nice game at a core concept.
Unique gameplay
Captures the feel of the movies
Fun when it works

Cons
Runs like ass
Buggy as shit
Half of my squad are black women and in game the voice acting for the girls is fucking horrible so I just bench them and take an all guy squad as the lines are more tolerable
'Manage your stress squad, it can be as leathal as a bullet' plays every minute
The 'story' missions are not fun and require a few restarts
The ending.

My girlfriend wants to play Stray, how complex are the controls and the gameplay? Last game she played was New Super Mario Bros. on Wii.
I'd say it's a pretty casual game, mostly walking around, interacting with NPCs, doing some puzzles. You jump around, but I believe it's all at set places, so you don't really worry about platforming fails. But it does have some points where you're chased by enemies and have to run away, and some people had some difficulty with that. If you're sitting down and playing together, you might want to watch some videos on the Zurk encounters beforehand so you know what's up, or maybe have her pass off the controller for those bits if they're too much.

Skimming the Wikipedia article on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dying_Light_2 and I found a perfect Amerimutt:

Beat Silent Hill 2 so that I'm fully prepared to shit on the upcoming remake.
A very solid game with a satisfying twist but it didn't blow my mind like how it was hyped up.
Also, a bit easy and not very scary. The scariest parts were when nothing was happening; such as the bizarre ambient noises in the apartment block's third floor or the gallows courtyard,
Still, I just can't emphasize how well written the twist was.

Installed Snowrunners on a whim, and fucking hell my brain is on fire with all the dopamine. Haven't enjoyed anything like this since Death Stranding.

Apparently, I have an extreme fetish for delivery games where progression is based on bigger storage and off-road locomotion.
