Tomba/Tombi remake, niggas! Hopefully this does well enough that they do Tomba 2, as well. I'd love a Tomba 3, but I'm not holding my breath.
It looks more like a direct port to this Carbon Engine thing, but that'll still be cool, especially if Tomba 2 is included or at least ported at the same time.
Speaking of which, they've also announced the Gex trilogy for said platform, which I'm also looking forward to.

Apparently Limited Run Games is also publishing a new Shantae game. For the GBA.
Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution, the long-lost sequel to the original Shantae, is back in development after being put on the shelf for nearly two decades. Building off the original game code from the early 2000s, this once-canceled title will be completed and released physically on a Game Boy Advance-compatible game cartridge.
Hope you kept your GBA.

So, Exoprimal. On one hand it's a very simple skinner box that I imagine won't have a lot of long term play.

On the other hand, it's a very fun skinner box where I fight literally hundreds of dinosaurs with a robot suit, and can hear the phrase "your Tyranosaurus rex is ready for deployment".

I was watching videos about those emulations handhelds they have been releasing for a while now. I decided to go with the Miyoo Mini Plus. It looks pretty good. If you install a custom OS you can play some ports of PC games on it like Diablo and Doom. I mostly want it to play SNES and Genesis games. I bought one those Genesis handhelds they would sell in dollar stores years ago and it was awful. I think they were made by a company called ATGames or whatever. They were just bad. Shitty sound small screens. You couldn't save so you couldn't play any of the Genesis RPG's like Phantasy Star. You could but you can't save your game.

I will get one set it all up with that custom OS and play Diablo on a tiny screen.

Spiritual successor of Patapon has been revealed:

Ratata Arts and TVT have announced RATATAN, a new rhythm action game from the creator of Patapon previously teased as Project JabberWocky.

The company will launch a Kickstarter campaign for RATATAN on July 31 at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET.

Platforms, a release date, and additional details were not announced, but more information is planned to be revealed ahead of the Kickstarter campaign, on July 29.

The project’s staff includes director Hiroyuki Kotani (Patapon game designer); producer Kazuto Sakajiri (The Eye of Judgment); and composer Kenmei Adachi (Patapon, LocoRoco, Gran Turismo).

RATATAN was announced during a stage event at BitSummit Let’s Go!!, which is being held in Kyoto through the weekend. When asked if the game will feature multiplayer, Sakajiri noted that TVT’s motto is “Let’s Play More, Together,” so to use your imagination on that one.

Uh oh....
This is all stuff we have heard before. OMG guys casual games on phones are going to kill traditional gaming. OMG guys single player games are dead multiplayer games are the future. It's been proven wrong many times. Back in the early and mid 2010's people were saying phones and tablets would kill traditional video games. This was being repeated everywhere and it never happened. According to people back then we would be playing games on phones. Consoles and PC gaming would be dead. Matter of fact in the mid and late 2000's people said PC gaming was dead. Then it saw a surge in the late 2000's and 2010's. Pre crypto faggotry PC gaming was king.

It's also kind of dumb that he uses some of the recent movies released this summer. Everyone said that Indiana Jones movie is crap. Even people that saw it at some film festival before it was released publicly said it was not very good. The problem with most of the movies is they are terrible or they are filled with SJW cancer and they are also terrible. So even if you could ignore all the cringey SJW woke nonsense and enjoy the movie you can't even do that because it's a bad movie. Something about checking off woke political requirements just makes movies bad. They focus too much on the wokeness and not on making a good movie.

Video games have the same problem. The games are bad and that's why no one is buying them. Want to sell games? Make good games. You aren't going to live service your way out of this. The AAA games released over the past few years I didn't even buy. That last Far Cry game looked cringey as shit. That Saints Row reboot looked like cringey SJW garbage. No one wants that shit other a few broke brain Zoomers.

make good games and people will buy them. You know, like they used to. You will make more than what you spent making the game.

Are you fucking kidding me? Burn in hell you cheating cunt.

I didn't even know about this game. Gmanlives says it's good. He hasn't steered me wrong. I might check it out. It looks interesting. It really says a lot when a $20 indie game made by 2 people about shooting puppets looks more interesting than major releases.
Everyday we stray further from God's light.

There hasn't been a time in history where people didn't act like degenerates and weirdos. It would probably be better if you learned not to take it so hard.

I discovered an old Steam account of mine that had an activated license for Transformers: War for Cybertron. I don't think I ever played it until today, and boy, however much the modern "boomer shooter" FPS meme can be mocked, I'd take a mediocre "boomer shooter" FPS over this limp, repetitive, visually low-contrast, hard-locked on rails content any day.

It's a shame, too, because the Transforming is really fun. The gimmick works the best in the level (up to which I've played, I've only finished the Decepticon campaign) where you play as Starscream and his Seekers and get to jump between aerial and ground-based combat, and the arenas aren't claustrophobic as a result. But that Transformation gimmick feels like the only part of the game that deviated from the "pre-DOOM mainstream mediocre FPS" formula, and the Starscream level is the only one (again, that I've played) that used that gimmick to its fullest.

So I got my Miyoo Mini Plus and got it setup with Onion OS and got some games on it. I put all my NES SNES Genesis GBC and GBA ROMs on the SD card. I even threw on a few PS1 games. It's pretty nice. The games look great. Especially the older 2D ones. The small size of the screen and the fact that it's only 640x480 with a 4:3 aspect ratio really helps. Like Symphony of the Night looks amazing. It looks good on bigger screens as well but the smaller MM+ screen just looks really great. Tomorrow I might get some of the Onion OS ports on there as well. I really want to get that port of Diablo on there. I might even do Doom Wolfenstein and Duke3D. Though they are FPS and often suck without a keyboard and mouse. Yeah, I know everyone started out playing Doom 93 on a keyboard. But after playing it with a mouse and keyboard I just don't enjoy it as much.

It's a pretty cool device.

I bought Diablo on GOG a few years ago so I will definitely be doing it. I will probably throw Heretic and Hexen on there as well. You can play old DOS games on it.

I sincerely hope this does not affect Valve in the way they will have to add ESG and DEI scores into their business. If Rothschilds can’t learn how to troll effectively with the amount of billions they have in their doorstep, then nothing in life is safe.
Valve is 100% private owned by Gabe and has absolutely no need for the Blackrock type loans to meet payroll so no one has any leverage over him. Its is kind of amazing, the most free man in the world is a nerd that just wanted a better way to patch his games to the players.
