Im not gonna change my opinion on Ralph over night. Hes done a lot of fucked up shit. Hes also had a run of bad luck that would kill most people and hes never broke or quit. Ok most of it through his own actions, but the mans an addict. Addiction is a fucking demon that rides your back and makes you do fucked up shit, makes you lash out at people you shouldnt and makes you not a nice person. Honest hate is far more valuable than fake kindness and civility. One thing that will be interesting is seeing how the war on the groypers will go because the only one that will be profiting of this mess is Gunt, but even then he's still on thin ice despite finding another lifeline. In the short term this is a Ralpha male win but in the long term? It's likely we will see him homeless or worse because anytime he does get win, he'll eventually get a loss that puts him in a worse position that he was before.

Null said a few words and Ralph then rambles on for 99% of the time listening to his own voice, telling literally himself what he wants to hear. What keeps Ralph up at night? Why Nick and his team of Capo's. Not his kids, not supporting his children's needs, not his dead cat. Oh no, none of that adult stuff; just what others think of him. Putting a plane ticket into Florida with expensive on-flight drinks is far more important than sending some money to his children so they have clothing and food.

The "talking to himself" Ralph simply decided to have another person there to openly voice his internal dialogue and conflict, whereas the last few chats he literally had been caught talking to himself and sometimes he opens his mouth so we can hear that internal dialogue.

But reality eventually kicks in:

1. His already small social group has shrunk.
2. He has destroyed relations with some people permanently that tolerated him.
3. He lost his first child. He lost his second child. He lost his wife.
4. He's probably lost or is losing his truck.
5. He is living in Mexico running away from debt in the USA.
6. His legal losses are piling up and new litigation is increasing.
7. His income is dwindling, his debt is increasing.
8. He's off the wagon.
9. he's a deadbeat dad who is putting niggas and white trash to shame.

There is this sadistic effect of Acute Radiation Poisoning when you actually go through a very enlightening and nice recovery period briefly before the final give out of the body; and this is Ralphs remission period. It will be brief, the sun will shine and the road forward looks good.

We all know where this is going, except Ralph.

I also attribute it to even more softening of the Internet. Back in 2017 we were bemoaning censorship of the internet but back then it was literally dont say nigger words. And the weird loophole that youtube tolerated where if you were reading a superchat you had deniability made it even possible to do that.
