Another thing I wanted to bring up to. @Mega Black stated that the early trailers made it appear that the game was going to take on a more dark and serious tone mixed in with some creepy body horror. However, I'm inclined to believe that after Larian gave a presentation to WotC after 2019, WotC probably told them; "Umm... Could you like tone down the how dark and serious the game is? Our audience doesn't like things being too dark and serious. Instead make the game more quirky and funny! Like a Guardians of the Galaxy movie."
One must remember that the last serious campaign module that WotC released for D&D was Descent into Avernus and that was in 2019. After that it has all just been pandering bullcrap with magic academies, romance, dating, proms, coffee shops and campaigns that take place in peaceful worlds where there is no conflict or seriousness. In short, WotC modern campaigns feels like a Steven Universe episode. I have a feeling that this game is going to suffer a major case of "conflict of visions". In many parts of the game we will probably see Larian's original vision seep through into the game and in other instances it will be clear that this was WotC vision. I'm curious to see the cut content mods that will be inevitable on the Nexus and seeing what was Larian's original vision for this game before WotC decided to meddle with it.
