I think there was a title IX case where the ban on troons in women's sports was overturned. That'll go to federal court and the troons will likely lose. I think the court will properly recognize that sex means sex.

I don't think the troons will win on the medical questions, but the court will probably make it a state's rights issue. (If WPATH can't be overruled by a state department of health within their state, then what purpose do state departments of health serve in the first place?)

I think the rainbow brigade has a good chance to win with the drag bans unless they're very carefully written. First amendment reasons.

No clue about the rest.

I somewhat disagree. Missing from the drag ban injunction analysis is any discussion of State power to impose age based restrictions on access to stuff like porn and strip clubs. The State has a sufficient compelling government interest to override the first amendment claim.

There's a doctrine called Chevron deference, after the case that defined it, that federal courts defer to the interpretation by administrative agencies of the statutes they are tasked with administering. However, while it hasn't been expressly overruled (and SCOTUS declined to overrule it last year despite being asked and instead just overruled the regulation itself unanimously without even mentioning Chevron), it's suspected that a majority of the Court no longer supports it.

I don't think it even survives under Chevron though, because while agencies have broad leeway to interpret their governing statutes, they can't just ignore them or flat-out contradict them, and saying that women have no right to their own sports or that "sex" means "made-up bullshit with no scientific basis" is not consistent with the plain language of the statute, and it magics up a protected class that was in no way intended by Congress.

Or as you said more succinctly, sex means sex.
I think the rainbow brigade has a good chance to win with the drag bans unless they're very carefully written. First amendment reasons.
Considering the empty political posturing that often goes along with legislation like this, it won't be surprising at all if some of them are facially overbroad, or can only constitutionally be interpreted so narrowly that they won't prevent what they're intended to prevent.

However, overtly fetishistic sexually explicit performance, whether clothed or not, is something where the government has long had the ability to regulate as to whether they can be targeted at children.

It's probably possible to draft a statute narrowly enough to be constitutional, but unlikely it will actually happen in the current environment. And even if it is, it is likely to be narrow enough as to be nearly entirely unenforceable as a practical matter, much like obscenity statutes, except in a few particularly glaring cases, e.g. something on the level of John Little (Max Hardcore), one of the few people to manage to get a prison sentence for obscenity in recent memory.

Revered constitutional scholar Snaggle Tooth Reed has decided that trooning out is a form of speech.

Chris sounds like a really smart person, why else would heshe write that "expressions of gender" are the "ultimate act of expression"? I need to check out their Substack probably.

I'm noticing a pattern of these "globally recognized thought leaders" all being mentally unstable.
"I cut my own dick off, I'm a drug addict, I'm drunk every waking minute, I'm unemployed, I have panic attacks and I'm a pedophile. Now let me explain to you why my ideas about society are better than yours."

“Christo-fascists”

Stop it, tranny. I can only get so erect. That’s my new favorite word and I may start referring to myself that way now.

Whatever happened to "Theocratic"?
For one thing, it's Islamophobic. Probably similarly bigoted against other "minority" religions held by most of the non-white world.

I don't mind Christo-fascist because it at least subtly implies that they've stopped spreading the lie that the Nazis and Fascists were Evangelical Christians who wanted to force the King James Bible on everyone as if they'd ever allow a god that wasn't The State.

OT but wtf autocorrect? making me look more retarded than I am.

Can see Tony having been hard working, I just find it hard to reconcile a high grade with how mediocre he is now cos usually that requires a level of intelligence that can't be compensated no matter how much effort you put in. I guess it was sociology, which I've never studied but am adamant is not a real subject.
I don't doubt the grade is legit, he's exactly the kind to basically shadow and brown nose every professor and tailor the essays to them with their favourite theories and datasets, just like he does with SJW talking points. Sociology is a joke of a subject, we shared a faculty with them in uni and 'sociology student' was an ongoing joke for something being stupid or fake, like 'what do you take me for, a sociology student?' Alo g with jokes about doing 'hair, beauty and sociology'

Tony will do an awful lot for bragging rights because his self esteem depends on being seen as smart and cool and he knows he's neither

Nah man, he "knows" (i.e. truly believes) that he is smart and cool and as such he is ENRAGED when anything challenges that self image. Small but crucial nuance.

See he's not insecure in the slightest, for that you would need humility and maturity. He has neither.

Gosh,
In today's episode of delusional nonsense Tony says.....

Tony, it’s a spam notification, no1curr about you

Interesting that he cut this image off at the "wasn't eligible" line... I'm guessing the next few words are "because we have determined that this account is owned by a gap-toothed, mush mouthed faggot."
Simpler — he doesn’t have Twitter/X Blue to be eligible, nothing personal even in the negative context, literal spam

From Tony's delusional babbling of the day.

No Evidence Being Transgender Is A "Social Contagion"

People opposed to transgender rights have often pointed at the rising number of transgender clinic referrals as proof of "social contagion." There is no evidence for this claim.

No Evidence Being Transgender Is A "Social Contagion"

Ironically, Snaggle Tooth himself provides some of the clearest evidence in support of social contagion theory.

No Evidence Being Transgender Is A "Social Contagion"
he starts by lying about the Littman paper:

"Her paper was immediately withdrawn with an apology by the journal for correction after the data collection methods were revealed, with the republication stating that the research “does not validate the phenomenon” of transgender social contagion."

then goes on to comparing being trans to like being left handed in the 1800s. on the surface it makes sense, well this was not socially accepted so rates went up when it became so. but with half a second of critical thought, it falls apart. there are physical differences between left handed, right handed, and ambidextrous people that can be detected with simple tests. not so for trans people. secondly, there are actual detectable brain differences between left and right handed people (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5516604/)

all he's really shown is that, when its beneficial to do so, survey respondents will lie. which is why its probably better to take trans teens parents responses, rather that their own self reports, to assess such things.

Being a lefty plateaued at about 9 - 11% of people once forced right-handedness was no longer the norm, it didn't have a decade long rise in excess of 2000 - 5000%.

Being openly gay went from 3.5% in 2012 to 4.5% in 2017.

But there's a huge caveat to that, because it also counts being a troon.

Meanwhile, transgender referrals to the now discredited Tavistock clinic in the UK had numbers like this:

"In 2017, I was shown a chart of children referred to GIDS, the Tavistock and Portman Trust’s Gender Identity Development Service clinic in northwest London. Overall case numbers had risen – from just 72 in 2009-10 to 1,807 in 2016-17 – but there was something more puzzling. Female referrals, once a fraction of males, now made up 70 per cent: from 32 to 1,265. The number of teenage girls with gender dysphoria (ie profound discomfort with their biological sex) had risen by 5,000 per cent in 7 years."

It's almost like snaggletooth can't do math or something. You'd think a stable genius from the bayou would be able to do basic math and draw obvious conclusions from those numbers...

Or maybe, just maybe, it IS a social contagion, and the people fighting against this insidious and nonsensical ideology are the ones who are "on the right side of history".

When the pendulum finishes swinging back, which thank God it seems like it's finally starting to, I will make it my life's work to hold every single one of these groomers accountable for what they said and did. They have utterly destroyed the lives of so many people who were too young to really comprehend what they were doing, and that is both monstrous and totally unforgivable.

I would not read too much into the fact that Tony reports getting 4.0 in his master's studies. Graduate GPAs are usually meaningless.

I would read into the fact that it took Tony 5-6 years to complete his masters though...

i think that time was him failing his PhD. given US PhDs are like 6 years when you're doing well, it would make the timeline make sense. over here if you don't want to/can't finish but are judged to have done ennough, you will be given a masters by research instead of a hole in your cv. so speculation on my part, but i don't think he intended to be doing a masters then and got it cos he didn't fail badly enough to get nothing.

he also claims to have been a graduate student researcher (which sounds like a phd student to me) and to be developing models to reduce the murder rate during this time. possibly some sort of graduate student placement?

well done Tony, sure your models reduced murder rates. not targeting the societal and economic factors that contribute to murder, not imprisoning DV perpetrators before they murder their victims, a fucking model is what's going to fix it. admittedly modelling can be useful for targeting interventions, but that's not what he said so i'm going to interpret him in the narcissistic way i assume it was meant.

here's his other LinkedIn entries for that period and his illustrious "founder" positions.

also his student research job for good measure. from his cv, it does make it look like he always wanted to be some sort of quantitative social researcher. then when his straight up pubditry failed he identified an unexploited niche and changed his whole personality to fit it.

I am legit offended that this faggot is from Louisiana. I lived there for a couple of years, and those Cajun motherfuckers are some of the nicest, most real people I ever had the pleasure of meeting. Plus they really know how to eat. Cajun food is the fucking best.

This snaggletoothed troon is a fucking embarrassment. I'm certain that the good people of Louisiana are glad that he's not shitting up their state any more.
