If you're talking about Chris, that's the million-dollar question right now. Relatives? Gateway? Some other place they wrangle 'tards? Nobody knows, but we might find out with an upcoming court date (if there isn't another goddamn continuance).

i don't think the court would appreciate a continuance filed like a day or two before the court date.
unless there's some crazy circumstance like the day or two before the court date "your honor, my client was hit by a car and he's in critical condition, i will need a continuance until he's fit to leave the hospital if he doesn't die in the hospital."
well there's ignorance, we don't know what we don't know and we can't assume somebody is something. with chris chan though, we know for a fact he's a motherfucker.

It is not unheard of to request one a week or two before. " We're still waiting on the report from the 'tard wranglers, your honor, and are concerned it will not arrive in time for the court date" for example.
I do agree that a day or two before would probably get smacked down unless there was a situation like you described. Disrespectful to the court to wait until the last minute.

I would like to see recorded footage of Chris during his hearing on the 8th (If it is not a continuance...) to see what his reactions and demeanor are like during the proceedings, but as it is a closed hearing, we will not have the privilege.

His lawyer has probably drilled it into him that if he in any way talks about himself or his current situation to anyone, it will be used against him in court and could send him back to jail. (Which is completley justifiable considering this is Chris after all)

I think the simplest explanation for all of this is that his extended jail stay, the psychiatric hospital visits and not having a mother who allows him to do what he wants and online enablers to influence him has meant that some sort of immediate authority figure has control of him.
Whether that is his lawyer or an experienced tard wrangler who puts up with zero shit, it’s clear that he is now “broken and tamed”.
It even appears that he has gone to play card games with no spergouts.
Even if he did spergout, amazingly with no one who knows who he is present, he would likely be arrested and surely that would make a local news report or two.
It’s possible that if people have tried to approach him in these malls or Walmart he has been coached to just walk away from them and find security.
I know popular speculation was that he wasn’t as arsed about jail as people assumed he was, but I would now hazard a guess that he does know it’s better to at least play cards and visit the shops once a month, and if he is in a Tard home/impossibly Christian or patient relatives, it’s certainty more comfortable than jail.
His Jesus LARP/cope was likely just that.
His own brand of mental gymnastics combined with whatever undiagnosed condition he’s clearly suffering from.
So a combination of a very real to him threat of being returned to jail/psych, a no nonsense tard wrangler, and a lack of idea guys or Isabella Jankes means he might have finally understood not to live on the internet.

I'm actually grudgingly impressed with how long Chris has gone without doing something fucking retarded and self defeating, especially when it became apparent they were letting him have a certain amount of freedom to go shopping, and especially do his card games, that was when I was positive a tard attack was only a matter of time.
It just makes you wonder, if Bob had hired a proper wrangler for Chris years ago, back when he first started showing signs of the subnormal shit that would make him notorious like the attraction sign, I understand his parents were fucking Boomers to even the Boomers and wanted to live in hope, but when it became obvious Chris was fucked with him Curse Ye Hame Hahing Mary Lee Walsh and the attraction sign bullshit, if they'd got him a real Wrangler then, how much different might he have turned out?
I'm glad they didn't, because we wouldn't even have this Forum most likely, it's just crazy (especially now the Farms has become the de facto last bastion of Freedom on the old Internet) how much shit resulted from a weird fat sped "crazy pacing" up and down with a weird attraction sign.

if he gets his autism deferral, don't they just let him go.
im pretty sure some weens will be waiting outside that day.
if they don't let him go, he gets charged with a felony then we can see those courts, they can't close those.

I am assuming that the most likely outcome is that he goes back to a home for the rest of his life, having diminished capacity, being unable to take care of himself and having nowhere to go. A felony charge would just mean that he also gets prison time.
I do not think he is ever going to be "let go" as I thought that the hearing is mainly determining whether to keep Chris in a home for the rest of his days vs. serving a prison sentence and going to a home again when he gets out.

If Chris had a good wrangler that would have insisted on instilling independence and not being stuck with Crazy Barb his entire life, who knows. That's an extremely wishful timeline, however.
A wrangler probably would have just taught Chris to not make everything public. He'd still be a fucked up autist, but in relative privacy like many other autists.

I guess the key words would be a little more. Chris has always stuck out throughout every phase he has gone through since his discovery. The "downstism" physique, the, er, unique mannerisms, the speech pattern of a cracked bell, the endless cycle of clown outfits. He blends in like a city nigger in a rural farm town.
