Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

So the ship that got attacked in Novorossiyjsk or however you spell it. Why that one? Why not attack a ship that can continuously lob missiles? Lack of targets or the typical thinking of big = important?
It's a landing ship.

Probably a softer target of opportunity, or maybe they're terrified of the Russians attempting a landing at Odessa.

There's endless hordes of big titted, gorgeous, Slavic women and the best they can do for a spokesperson is a nigga in a wig.
Because this isn't supposed to be supporting the troops, or the average rank and file citizen. This is supposed to keep the war politically aligned with the western lefty elite class - They need to see their ideals directly projected into Ukraine. Not as ideological conquest, but to incite the conditioned sympathy and unconditional support response they've practically programmed into themselves. They don't want people to think of the war as white men killing white men in some Balkan pissing match, they want them to see it as a fight for LGBTQ+ rights so the elites support, hell even demand that huge piles of money be taken from the poor to support the war effort.

The target audience is Hollywood, not plebs. The elites only care for their own and all that.

Those videos were released all at the same time, this one included:

I have no idea how to extract video from Targum, but these Russians, are firing from their position and it gives the impression that they're hit with some sort of gas attack as people just slump over even though they were fine a few seconds earlier.
That shit is suspicious as fuck. Fucking hope that no more videos pop up so I can let my extremely limited optimism say "they stopped using it." I know that Ukraine won't get reprehended for using chemical warfare, even if they lose, but fucking hell I hate this timeline.

Can't wait to show this video to my hohol simping acquaintances and watch them shrugs their shoulder and move on like nothing happened.

Stops Delays naval invasion, so it is still a good target. Having another front with barely any troops there is not going to be fun for the ones stationed at the landing. Landing ships usually have little to no defense weapon since you are acting under the assumption that your convoy could secure the landing zone for you. Missile boat on the other hand is a harder target to destroy due to their anti-missile turrets. They got those because they are a high value target while landing boats are cheap and reproducible. Yes, having drowned soldiers is bad, but that's why you sail with other ships that can protect your troops from meeting Davy Jones... unless you eat a torpedo.

Looks like the new ghost of kiev is a female sniper they claim the russians call the punisher. Note how many times the journo writing this nonsense repeats the exact same phrase word for word:

Title:

A feared Ukrainian female sniper the Russians call 'Punisher' says women can be especially deadly on the battlefield because a male soldier might hesitate to take a shot, but a woman 'never' does

A feared Ukrainian female sniper the Russians call 'Punisher' says women can be especially deadly on the battlefield because a male soldier might hesitate to take a shot, but a woman 'never' does

Bullet point after said pictures
  • A Ukrainian female sniper says a man might hesitate to shoot the enemy, but she would never.

Supposed quote immediately after said bullet points
A female Ukrainian sniper says women sharpshooters have an edge in combat because their male counterparts might hesitate to shoot the enemy, whereas she would have no such qualms.

Immediately following the previous quote
"If a man hesitates whether to make a shot or not, a woman will never," Evgeniya Emerald told the BBC's Olga Malchevska.

So what the fuck? Did the author have a stroke while writing this article or was there some kind of getting paid by the world so just copy/pasted the same phrase over and over hoping nobody would notice? This is the kind of shit indians do in the IT industry on reports and projects

Note that this stuff about males hesitating to kill but females having no such issue is complete nonsense and completely ass backwards. It has absolutely no basis in reality whatsoever. Women have far more aversion to violently killing a person than men do, which is why they frequently resort to poisons and non violent methods when murdering people, which is a well known fact taught in psychological profiling courses world wide

and then theres this:
Speaking to the BBC, Evgeniya described the life of a sniper as a "personal hell," because she must view the horrors of war more closely through her scope.

Evgeniya has at least two children — a daughter, 10, from a previous relationship and another three-month-old daughter with her current husband. She left active service in September due to her pregnancy, per the Institute for War and Peace Reporting.

The sniper told the outlet that she was nine when she fired her first gun, and hit five targets with five rounds.
So shes not a sniper anymore, somehow got pregnant while on active duty as a sniper somehow supposedly killing all these russians and totally was a perfect shot at age 9. Uh huh. This reads like the shit that commissar wrote about the sniper in enemy at the gates

The real hoholina sniper; this bitch isn't fit to clean her gravestone:
Love how they HAD to give the "Ukrainian" version of her name, when she was born in the Russian Empire, then the USSR (at a time in which "Ukrainians" were just "Russians" by a different name and didn't even consider themselves anything else), and served in the Soviet Red Army.

Wonder if the Hohols consider her a national hero? Probably not, given she shot 309 Fascists and modern "Ukraine" is a continuation of Reichskommissariat Ukraine.

What is the status of the Olenegorsky Gornyak landing ship? No one mentioned that Navalny got sentenced to 19 years in a special regime prison (I will let our Russian friends explain what that means but it ain't pretty). A Russian flagged oil tanker was hit in the Black Sea as it returned from delivering petroleum to Syria. And hohols are currently hitting Kursk.

Because Ukraine can't fight on a two front war. Because every mile of land the Russians take; the Ukrainians can't take back unless the Russians choose to withdraw.

If a bunch of russians turned up in Odessa tomorrow, what hope would the ukies have of taking it back? None.

They don't have the tanks, the aircraft, the drones and most importantly the people at this point.

It has a hole in its side but it didn't sink. It'll be sitting at a dock getting repaired for the next few weeks/months.

Russia is probably going to go absolutely apeshit with Gerans and cruise missiles in the next few days in revenge.

What is this nonsense? Russia should be going apeshit 24/7 with cruise missiles and other strategic weapons. This limited war bullshit while the enemy just does whatever they want is moronic, absolutely no infrastructure in Ukraine should be standing at this point and every road running from the Polish border to the front lines should be pock marked so badly that it would be impossible to drive a trailer with a Bradley on it. Ukraine should be forced to drive western weapons to the Dniper and drive it across pontoon bridges that are continuously being blown up because the actual bridges had long been knocked down. Railway infrastructure should be in shambles and there should be zero water purification and electricity across all of Ukraine.

Either go full retard and be magnanimous in victory or don't bother with warfare in the first place. The guy from Wagner was right to chimp out and throw a tantrum, the strategic planning by Russia is abysmal and they're just a rudderless ship spinning around in the water. They're never going to be on good terms with Ukraine, they're never going to buckle their nation or NATO with this half assed paddy cake bullshit either. Most of the Ukrainian population away from the front line hardly notices the war is going on except for a sporadic drone or cruise missile flying in, the young adults of military age are out going to clubs and shit or just goofing off. There was a period of time where Russia was hammering the hell out of Ukrainian transformers and other parts of the electric grid and it was starting to have a boa-constrictor effect since most high rise buildings need pumps to get water to higher level floors, along with the rest of the issues related to lack of electricity, boredom being a major mind killer. Instead Russia halted the campaign and just went back into this stupid idling state.

Some real "Lions led by donkeys" nonsense going on for Russia's side.

The problem with that line of thinking is that Russia benefits by dragging things out like this. Right now war fatigue is settling in on the public consciousness and so NATO support is fading. Ukraine is literally on miliary welfare and needs to whore itself out to continued funding. The US is embarrassing itself, and it's actions have caused other countries to distance themselves from America and begin to support Russia more. De-dollarization is progressing with BRICS picking up steam and countries changing to trading in local currencies.
More importantly, the war is effectively on the backburner. Ukraine is literally just throwing itself on the landmines so all Russia has to do is keep the war front stationed with an eye out for something unexpected happening. Russia can focus it's attention on restabilizing their economy and rebuilding trade relationships. They're getting embargoed for finished products but still have raw resources and trade with China, so they can build up their own manufacturing capabilities - ensuring that Russian citizens have work and income. Yes the ware is on Russia's border, but they can now treat it like America's forever war in Afghanistan as most citizens can largely forget it's happening but benefit from the boost to the economy it provides.

If Russia was to go scorched earth the war becomes costly, and incites the risk of reuniting Ukraine support so NATO puts troops ont eh ground or otherwise assists in a heavy push.

Russia does not benefit by the war dragging on, because every shell that gets used is one less shell Russia has in their stockpiles. Every tank that gets made is materials not going elsewhere in Russia's economy. Every soldier that gets killed is one less worker that Russia has (and Russia has terrible demographics). Hell, every soldier in the field is someone not doing something more productive for the economy. Needlessly dragging out wars has universally been considered a bad thing, hell, Sun Tzu even said as much about 2,500 years ago.

Meanwhile, NATO is getting valuable combat experience for a next-gen war, and the depletion of NATO stocks is both noticed and being addressed. Sure, not as quickly or effectively as some would like it, but they are increasing manufacturing and its making big bucks for the military-industrial complex.

This is pure cope for the fact that Russia can hardly take territory at this point because the leaders know that Ukropski defensive lines will maul them just as bad as their own are doing now. Wagner was so successful because they actually took the risk and pressed the attack. What Russia needs to do is finish liberating the Donbass, expand the borders of Crimea to get access to the Dnieper, and negotiate a treaty with the Ukrops to both recognize their control over Crimea, Mariupol, and the Donbass and have a face-saving withdrawal from their other claims (i.e. a legit plebiscite, if the West rigs it then Russia can just say as much whenever they need to pressure the Ukraine).

The goals for Russia are not the same as those of the US in ME or anywhere else. NATO being depleted is worse for them, and us, because our manufacturing is dependent on an increasingly hostile third party, or practically non-existent as in the case of Germany. Russia has changed warfare, and the US/NATO are slow to adapt. The problem is we don't manufacture anymore so we can't crank up the weapons manufacturing industry like we did during the Cold War. It simply no longer exists.

The biggest problem though is there is no support from the people that would make up the ranks of the US military after 20 years in the the sandbox and the disaster of the Afghan evac. I think the best they could do is foederati from south of the border, like Colombian/Brazilian mercs but after what they went through in Ukraine even that's questionable. We're in the late stage Empire decline. This is what happens.

NATO? Are we now done pretending that it's Ukraine and totally not NATO troops doing the offensive? (Rhetorical question, no need to answer). Regardless, I sincerely doubt NATO is actually getting experience. Sure, they can learn on what the hohols did wrong, but as it stands the current failed offensive is not quite a repudiation of their long standing tactics either, since Ukraine lacks the two key components for traditional NATO deployments: unlimited air cover and Uncle Sam's logistical branch.

Also what manufacturing? All I keep hearing is the US scaling up production to a laughably small number (especially compared to the World War 2 heyday), and on a timeline that presumes that they have a decade to do it.

NATO is learning that their wunderwaffen and tactics don't really work against a modern combatant. What they aren't learning, however, is what does work. Nothing is working.

They need to start dropping spans in the Dneiper, but they won't do that for some fucking reason

lololololololol

It isn't being addressed in an adequate way. It will take a decade for NATO to start to recover from this.
