Null is right about how sleazy Tommy C sounds. He’s got that sleazy grease ball, shady used car dealer type of Voice.

I always just thought he sounded Jewish but used car salesman works. He's not the worst person out there but I personally don't watch him. His show hired Illuminaughtii years ago, the first sign of her being a fat lunatic was when she deleted all her appearances on his show from his channel.

I may be misremembering the old Baited podcast days but didn't Keem kick Tommy out at some point. Why is Keem having this guy around again, pretty sure it was a big fallout at the time?

You're right - from memory, it was something like Keemstar got 50% of show profits and Colossal is Crazy got a slightly lower amount, Tommy C got next to nothing. Colossal and Tommy fought internally to get a fairer amount, led to the thing imploding. Can't remember exactly but point is there is still bad blood afaik.

Actually one more Tommy C story - he went on Salvo Pancake's quiz show, Fireball, with Ralph and others. His team won - they were going to buy Tommy's cohost, Matt, a new leg. Because Salvo got demonetized he refused to pay out - essentially stole the money and, therefore, the leg. Pretty funny.

Regarding TommyC, he is a New Jersey native so that's probably a big part of where his sleaze-accent comes from.

Spoiler: Tommy C Lore

The lore with Tommy C being tiny and yet in the Keemstar orbit is that one of the OG youtube drama podcasts, Baited, was Keemstar, ColossalIsCrazy, and TommyC. It didn't last long and the blow up resulted in a dirty PR war between Keemstar and Tommy which went on for quite some time which is where the Tommy C pissing on people meme comes from. They did eventually stop fucking with each other which sees Keem randomly pop on to Tommy's podcast as a caller when he wants to say something.

Regarding the reasons for breakup, IIRC Tommy claimed, basically, that Keem pretended there was a money dispute which didn't really happen to create drama giving Keem an excuse to break things up. If my memory serves the details were Clown thought maybe the cut should be more even, Tommy was largely happy to be there making any money at all, and Keem used the mere suggestion as evidence of a conspiracy against him and that resulting drama to break things up without Keem looking like the asshole, and Tommy getting maligned in the process caused him to sperg out at Keem for quite a while.

That should be the basic shape of the dispute, though I might be slightly over simplifying or missing something by basing that on more recent explanations by Tommy, but I'm not watching years of SFTP during the PR war to get all of Tommy's side.

Tommy kept doing his small podcast (Shot From the Point, originally about hockey but re-branded to drama because it was easier and that resulted in way less DMCA problems due to clips) which seen very little growth but has had an outsize influence on commentary basically because he was on Baited (and the connections that left him with); a lot of the people we now think of as commentary (DeOrio, Augie, Turkey Tom, to name a few) got some play via his podcast before they got big, Nick in particular was a co-host for quite a while.

Tommy is maybe best known for boomer takes, yelly ranting like a maniac which can be quite entertaining, but maybe most importantly is also capable of asking questions as part of interviews and not trying to steal the show when he's not the main attraction, so he's probably on the "LolCow" podcast as a known quantity to Keemstar to help keep things moving while being someone a bit more stable than Boogie or Wings.

I will mention that Tommy was maybe the only person I heard outside The Sektur who looked into the Byuuicide and determined that it was probably bullshit based on the available information, so he's not a complete retard.

This research did result in an unintentionally funny moment in the middle of an 8 hour Oreo stream going over Gabbie Hannah drama where Tommy was on VC while listening to MATI for research a little to loudly which hurriedly caused Nick to leave that call.
