They talk about cities expanding like it's an actual physical expansion as if Omaha would already be erecting walkable commieblocs in Bennington if not for those fucking cagers! From what I remember a city "expanding" is just them annexing further outlying townships to bring them under the administration of their municipal umbrella and all the costs and revenue associated with that- But if outlying suburbs are so damn costly in like this kind of soft subsidizing they're pitching where the suburbs are financially independent and responsible for their own policy in upkeep it would never make sense to incorporate a tax deficit. The whole thing goes round and round back to "who/what are you fighting for". OK, so what--land value? Growing cities are going to sprawl, the only way to stop it is urban growth boundaries, which causes land value to rise. Land value, affluence, quality of life, and crime are related, but even SimCity showed that those ARE different...and why do you want land value to be higher? It's more out of your pocket that you'll be paying for, and you're a fool to think that a surplus of tax income (or not having suburban infrastructure) is going to lead to any good--improved mass transit included--in American cities.

I checked and it seems to be a split. Some of them are seethe at racing games because autism, while others don't really care as much. But I assume since they're bug men they will mindlessly like any video game by default regardless of what it is because it's in their nature to consume product.
