Who goes through all the effort of starting a lawsuit without knowing you can:

1 - Lose
2 - Appeal

I've never been anywhere near a lawsuit but I knew those things by the time I was about 10 just by watching the news. That's like driving a car and not knowing that you could crash it, or use the brakes.

People like Pat think that starting a lawsuit is a a way of just getting a company to give you a big payout or forcing someone to comply with your demand.
They don’t seem to understand that even if you have a case you still have to provide evidence and of course for it to be a case in the first place it has to be within the law.

He would know that if he checked into the rules of privacy and relevant information.
Unless it’s life and death or a governmental decision, private companies and individuals don’t have to simply divulge private information.

Assuming a bunch of people on a forum who laugh at his tweets and other publicly available information he willingly made viewable to anyone with a internet capable device can just have their ip addresses divulged really shows how seriously he takes himself.

I doubt even the president could get that achieved, provided they were not making any credible threats.

Anyway, he is of the ilk who hear that “most of the time” companies just pay people off rather than take it to court, so he probably thought that Quasi would just “hear the knock” and fall in line.
The fact that he wasted so much money on reinstating his twitter account shows that he really thinks the law is how to get what he wants.

- Gay rodeo clown father who was most likely bouncing between rageful outbursts and being a subserviant drunk to his wife as the model for masculinity, meaning Pigsley turns to pop culture bullshit to define his own masculinity

- His mother wants his life to be better/easier than his father's so he's pushed through high school with his coddling mother telling him he's brilliant despite his 1.7 GPA and he's laughed out of community college in the first semester because he doesn't have his mother to cover for her child, child

- ODD becomes Antisocial Personality Disorder in adulthood which makes you feel like it's totally cool to threaten to kill the mother of your child and the baby, and wait until the baby's born to do it, when you work for her parents' company in a job where the only way you'd lose the job is to threaten to kill the owner's daughter

- It also makes you unable to see your role in your own messy life, makes you need to win every argument no matter how trivial, and be irritating to everyone because it's the only way you know how to get attention

It's doing the absolute opposite of correcting lineal patterns to overcome intergenerational trauma. Well that will be it, the 100k went on an SFWA lawyer, whom Fatrick couldn’t afford alone and after he didn’t get his wanted outcome he used others or none at all.

Edit. I am going to check Fatrick’s encyclopedia dramatica page. I doubt it’s definitive and probably not the most accurate, but at least it collates information and perhaps can name or point to his legal representation.
