Unless I missed something, we still don't know if the person posting as "Wayne Beckett" was the actual person of that name. It was just another non-verifiable account on the internet, as far as I can tell, even when it was corresponding with the lazy "journalist".

The only person in this whole fiasco who can be verified as being who he says he is is the pedophile Hector Martin, and there's no sense in taking his word about anything without hard evidence. The whole drama could still be his personal sockpuppet theater.

We may never know for sure unless a death certificate or something finally comes to light.

I am not saying that Hector is directly responsible for Byuu's death, but I really think he and his tranny companions influenced Byuu's perception of KF and basically fearmongered the unstable, mentaly-ill, depressed guy to a point where he felt he has no other options than killing himself to escape it.

Yeah but that's just the State Department records. The Tokyo Embassy would still have a record from when they were notified. There'd still be a Death Certificate. There'd still be a record of Cremation.
These things are part of the public record and announced, or with a bit of digging/info requests they can be located. There's nothing. People have looked. It's just too convenient that multiple records concerning the same guy would all be missing from multiple different places. There would be something. Unless he was a Spook and there was a deliberate scrubbing of those records there would be something.
Maybe he turned informant against the Yakuza and was put in Witness Protection. That would at least be a cool story.

There are records when US Citizens die over seas, and those records are part of the public record, they can be checked, people have looked, theres no record of Byuu's death. Literally the only people claiming that he's dead trust me bro have a vested interest, they're not neutral sources. Until there's some evidence that he's dead from an official source, that isn't just yellow journalists quoting each other without any good faith attempt to verify their source, theres nothing I've seen to confirm his death.

Also: no death certificate, no police report, no obituary, and no statement from Ginder's partner or next of kin. The only "proof" they put forth was an urn with Ginder's name on it, which anybody could have made.

Wouldn't they also have returned his body or ashes to the States? Where are his supposed ashes?

The TOS of Misskey is heavily focused on the pornographic content they host. Every message from admin staff is basically a "warning" to tag porn and censor genitals to stay within the boundaries of Japanese law, as well as warning that the high volume of lolifaggotry on the site might put you at risk of being arrested depending on your country.
