One of my buddies had full on loveshy-esque "online dating is a joke, all American women are whores I'm such a great guy and so nice and polite" meltdown over group chart with my friends the other night. We all proceeded to call him Eliot Roger and make fun of him. Hopefully he doesn't shoot up a gym, or start recording youtube videos in his car.

I just realized that I know a fuck load of nice guys. My room mate (read as: my burn out friend who I let live in my basement because I feel bad for him and am basically his surrogate dad, even though he's a year older than me) constantly goes on nice guy rants. The reality of it is he has low social skills(He says overtly sexual stuff to our other friends wives/gf's and then gets legitimately confused when the get mad because "it was just supposed to be a compliment bro, and I didn't know any other way to say it"), is obviously sex-motivated, can be kind of a dick, dresses like shit and has a dead end job. He got medically discharged from the Air Force years ago and just never rely got past it and turned into a huge man child.

He just spent an hour defending someone he knows so little about he doesn't know if she's in a relationship? That's kinda odd. That's one of the first things you tend to find out about someone. Then demanding she talk to him? That's creepy. I hope she was quick with the block button.

Very slight powerleveling ahead: I have a friend that keeps messaging me on how to talk to this girl and freaks the fuck out and fucking spams me if she doesn't reply to him in like 10 mins.

A part of me wants to tell him to "hey stop being a faggot dude" and the other part just wants to unleash him and see how he handles it on his own. I have heard shit that she will probably cheat on him like she did the last......3 guys.

Honestly I think this might be a good learning experience for him, because if he is somehow fucking successful in dating her, then he will get his heart crushed and realize that women aren't innocent goddesses. Although he already admits its his own social ineptitude that keeps him from getting a girl and not because he is "too nice" So I guess that is a start.

I found out through my extensive experience with guys that there are several types:

1. Women are goddesses that can do no wrong, if they reject me I'm just not good enough.
2. I want to have sex with Women, I'll be nice and if they brush me off they are a bitch.
3. All Women are bitches and whores.
4. Women are just other types of people.

Thing is, I've found especially on the internet, due to the widespread population of 1-3. Women try to avoid talking to guys since they'll just assume its the 1-3 types.

That's when the girl will suddenly stop replying. "How strange, guess she was just a bitch" the nice guy thinks. :roll:

I'm just thankful I haven't ran into too many of these guys. Though one friend of mine is kind of on the border of being a nice guy and just knows to keep his interesting thoughts to himself (usually).

Did you know my former roommate? Type 1 describes him to a tee.

He was the most spineless, utterly milquetoast person I've ever met. He would change his opinions to fit in with whoever he was around, to the point it was impossible to tell where he actually stood on a particular issue. When it came to women, he would be an utter doormat for any girl who was even remotely attractive and gave him even the slightest bit of attention. He was used quite regularly for money, rides, his credit was destroyed because he'd cosign on loans for cars and they'd skip out on the payments, and the thing that made me kick his ass out was when he let his "girlfriend" (they'd never even kissed) use our apartment as a stash house. And through all this, he never once thought that maybe he was being used. No, it must be because he wasn't doing enough for them. I lost track of him after I kicked him out, but I might see if I can find out what became of him. I'm curious to see if he wised up, or became a Type 3, or joined a monastery or what.

I tried to explain to him that women are turned off by a guy who doesn't have his own personality, but he would respond with he was being sensitive to their needs. I gave up after a while, I couldn't bear to watch him let himself be used repeatedly, so I just stayed out of it. I had to protect myself when he started breaking the law. I was not going to jail for him. I just ran his name through the state criminal records system, and he popped up for a conviction for possession with intent to distribute, so the idiot got arrested for a girl who never did anything for him. I'll see if I can get the story from someone who knew him better than I did.

Which just shows they're not really nice people, they just view women as shallow-minded idiots who can be fooled into giving them sex with the right tricks. I love watching them go ballistic when they don't get what they think is their just reward for ya know, common decency. The problem is they view sex as a commodity, and niceness as the currency. Now, I have no problem with the selling of sex as long as the sex workers are doing so of their own free will and their rights are well protected. But if all you're after is sex, just hire a damn hooker. Many specialize in the girlfriend experience. Of course, these losers would end up stalking the poor woman after she had to explain she wasn't really their girlfriend, and they'd end up getting the shit beaten out of them by her security/pimp/actual boyfriend.
