Has the lazy fuck just been on vacation for the last three weeks? Doesn't he have a contract that says 15 streams a month or whatever the number was?
He doesn't seem that stressed about making the threshold for this month, so either he's allowed to take off a month or he convinced them to waive the requirement for this month because he was going to draw so much attention at Anime Matsuri.
Hasn't he mentioned the 3 streams a week obligation and that's how we came up with the 12 streams a month thing? We don't know if the contract says per week or per month or even per year but I can see it having a per week clause and a total clause. I can also see nick thinking he can just fall back on the total and use that to argue for his renegotiation. Like he thinks he can barely stream for 3 weeks+ and 'make up' for it with previous/coming months streams where he 'overshot' the target.
To noseguard a bit, I'd speculate that Nick negotiated his summer break into his Rumble contract.
Nick essentially disappeared for two months last year for AM/HedonismII/Tampa even before he went full retard.
About that. Nick has a contract with Rumble. Why was he the organizer for the YouTuber corner? Why did his banner have a YT-style play button on it and not a Rumble logo?
This is a good point that I hadn't considered, the conflict between AM's YT involvement, if only informal and Nick's Rumble contract terms.
As to why AM's banners feature YT over Rumble, it can easily be explained by the fact that none of the other YT corner personalities have much to do with Rumble AFAICT.
Nick's the only one beholden to alt tech and has been essentially run off the mainstream.
He also "kinda" did trial streams, so maybe that cover the time amount stipulated.
Don't think trial streams count towards Rumble and Locals obligations.
Nick made it very clear upon signing the initial Rumble deal that he maintained rights to daytime trial streams, as at the time, Nick still considered those a separate cash cow.
Nick supposedly has Ryan Long and Larry Correia confirmed for his interview show
Would be interesting to see how Ryan Long vibes with Nick.
He's still on the rise. He's also very absurdist and jokey.
Long's not afraid to be crude. I could see it going either way.
I fear it could also go the same way it does when Joe Rogan has an actually talented and funny comedian on, but all the jokes don't land because Rogan's too thick and has terrible taste in comedy.
Nick is such a whiny bitch. Does anyone genuinely enjoy his nonstop litany of complaints? How is that a show?
I was watching a YT video from a camping YouTuber earlier today that was bitching about all the trials & tribulations of YT content creation and how she got really depressed camping alone for a month in the desert.
She specifically noted how cathartic it was to whine and rant to her audience and it was probably her highlight of the month.
Tens of thousands of people watch her shit. The parasocial aspects of the relationship work both ways.
