Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

Judge will just be sitting there, with two complete autist retards in his courtroom, asking himself where it all went wrong.

Who is the second?

I feel for the judge.

I love how people think this episode is somehow unique in jurisprudence. The judge isn't looking at his calendar thinking "Oh no, I got THAT GUY today". The stack of papers on his desk is full of "That guys". The truth is that courts are full of morons like this screeching and throwing shit at each other.

This isn't special or unusual.

Reminder that lolcows have an uncanny, almost supernatural ability to shake off legal consequences. Don't be shocked or upset if Fatty gets a continuance.

Also, I'm not sure why people seem to think patposting will end if he "pays Quasi." The best anyone can reasonably hope for in that regard is wage garnishments and selling Rustang Sally. Unless he he gets banned from social media in the same way felons are banned from gun ownership, there will always be Xeeting, and therefore patposting. Unless of course he goes to big boy prison for his crimes against pepperoni.

I guess Pat could take a break from Twitter for a month, but that would never happen. He's brought all the stalker children on himself by constantly replying to every tweet and text directed at him. Even if he wasn't a smug narcissistic fat asshole that would draw some attention.

That's an absurd idea. No matter what happens, for good or ill, Pat is still Pat. A narcissistic delusional glutton, incapable of allowing even the slightest slight to his name to go unanswered, no matter how nonsensical. The man's entire character is a guidebook on how not to live your life. He will never, ever give up on social media because it's literally all he has in his life; it is his raison d'être. And with that will come the never-ending nettling from the pests. They'll never stop, and he will never stop replying. After all, he can't let the idiots win.

And so we'll never stop getting content until Pat somehow gets banned from Xitter, or dies. He'll always be there, posting "Enjoy prison, stalker" hundreds of times every day until he finally gives up the ghost. It's pathetic to a level I've never seen before. More importantly, it's also absolutely fucking hilarious.

Honestly, now that he hired lawyers, I'd be shocked only if the judge didn't grant him another month.

The thing is that option would be the worst option for him. Because he got himself a new month, sure, but he still owes Quasi and now, additional fees for his 2 lawyers. And Patposting will go on as usual.

Best thing he could do was just show up and be done with it, but of course he didn't. The cost of postponing the humiliation will (as always) bite him in the ass.

"Patrick's Razor" is as sharp as ever.

Is there a place to watch the hearing that we know of?
I'm checking around. Looks like this link will be the livestream. Found that link from this page.

This is the case summary which specifies branch 8.

And our Honor Judge Sosnay is also in branch 8. So this is what I'm betting on.

Hit me with the clocks if I'm late but I didn't see any links. I am eagerly awaiting 10AM CST.
Hearing will not be streamed and IIRC there won't be any audio. We'll have to wait on transcripts, but I would expect some footage of Fatty arriving and leaving court, taken by concerned citizens in the shadows. There's that at least.

Damn. Oh well. Thanks for correcting me, though.

Could the judge take Fat being a no-show into consideration for the continuance ruling? The whole point is to cowtow and show the judge you're not blatantly disregarding his authority.
It's really entirely up to the judge. If he had some questions he wanted to ask, and doesn't get to because Fatso was a no-show, then contempt is really likely, or possibly even a criminal charge of failure to appear. I'm not sure if that is even on the table though. Generally, if it is, the document ordering you to appear will explicitly state so. If he just summarily grants the continuance without comment, he could let it slide. It is "within the sound discretion of the court."

Unless and until a continuance is granted, he is supposed to be there.

Even if he isn't sanctioned specifically for not appearing, this is his hearing to show cause why he shouldn't be held in contempt. If he fails to do that, because he fatly failed to appear, the default is he is.

Most likely result? A continuance.
Happy court-day kiwis. This almost feels like being a child on Christmas Eve again. I cant wait for the milk.
More like a Cuckmas Eve where nine times out of ten Santa shows up, eats your cookies, drinks your milk, and then goes lol no toys today.

This can't be overstated. Today may be the day your favorite lolcow is going to court.

To the judge, it's Thursday.

Maybe, but given his prior interactions with authorities we can still kindle hope he winds up making the judge feel like its a really shitty monday and gets judged accordingly.

Though to be sure, we should not treat this hope as certainty.
