I wonder if part of the problem is that Democrats are so obsessed with operating in the shadows that no viable candidates left have any cultural presence, and would be in deep shit if people paid attention to their history?
no its the opposite.

you wanna move up in the party you need to get some buzz, you get buzz by being an activist, thats why the mid level dems are all un hinged and push such retarded shit.

Also after the rise of the clintons and Obama bumping hilary, combined with the squad primary establishment members the DNC has gotten too good at clipping the younger talent.

The fact Vivec is allowed major media platforms in this environment should set off alarm bells.
Explain why you think that further, Donald Trump and CNN go hand in hand. Why aren't the alarm bells ringing?

not sure why i can't quote you

where you lost me is the comment about the burbs. growing up there, living there, working there... i don't hear much negativity about trump. see a lot of trump stickers and flags. some are so big im embarrassed for them.
I'm curious to know how close to a major metro city you are located. Don't give specifics, my point is, there are pockets of heavy Trump supports depending on where or how close those pockets are to major cities. Not to mention, just because there is a large pocket of support does not mean the major blue cities don't swallow them whole when it comes to voting. In addition, I could see Blue cities voting red especially those cities that have been heavily impacted by Democrat policies. That does not mean they will vote for Trump.

The sad thing is thanks to tribalism
The sad thing for me is where is the tribalism like this on the right? Oh right, we got Pajeets and RINOs everywhere now a day; apparently. DeSantis was probably the closest after Donald Trump until he either knowingly or accidentally fell into the same trap Trump did. Allowing bad actors into his inner circle of friends and advisors/campaign team.

Maybe I'll change my tune when I start seeing Red counties going door to door collecting ballots this election season. Hell, post up ballot boxes at churches, schools (for teachers), etc. Hire ballot collectors and get the hands dirty legally just as the Democrats have done. Don't do ballot switches or dumping ballots, counting votes after hours without officiated witnesses, etc.

The money he gave people as Covid checks was a drop in the bucket
This mindset, IMO, needs to stop. If you've ever encountered a leaky roof and temporarily fixed it using a bucket, you will know that single drops adds up over time. This, in my opinion, is worst than lump sum spending as it is harder to notice until the bucket is overflowing and spilling onto the carpet. Gradual change is how we now have recreational use of marijuana and it flies relatively under the radar. It wasn't until Oregon legalized all forms of drugs that big attention was drawn to it. Before Obama made an executive order that legalized gay marriage, the LGB in my community was advocating for a contract that gave us the same rights as straight couples. When Obama did the EO, it drew all the negative headlines and undid a lot of work and activism. My point is, unnecessary expenditure no matter how big or small should not be hand waved away. Trump should have done a one and done check and when the knowledge that Covid wasn't the world ending disaster everyone thought it was going to be; spending should have been cut. It would have forced States to re-open sooner and not foster the lack of work ethic I'm seeing in the American labor force at current... and now today as the job's report has been released. I'm saying Trump not as just the President but the administration as a whole.

I don't know if you know this but people in their 70s do in fact die without anybody killing them
I don't know if you know this, but I dumped a fat load down your faggot father's throat. It was a great vacation.

And some parts of Illinois wants to separate from Chicagoland.

It's not Red states vs. Blue states. It's Red counties vs. Blue counties.

You are broadly right but that isn't the point I was going for or what the issue was. Trump wanted the Covid help as a emergency stimulus, and he wanted it WITHOUT the pork you mention here.

Wonder if Trump even has chance at this point, given all the controversy surrounding him. And for all those saying that his mugshot is just gonna make him more popular, people on other sites that are meming the heck out of it say otherwise.

thanks for the reminder that most of you never go outside

I've been all over this glorious country this summer

there is only one presidential candidate anybody is repping

there are trump signs and flags everywhere.

nothing for anybody else.

blue cities aren't carpeted in MAGA but they don't have any signs or anything up for anybody.

I did see a whole lot of fuck newsom in rural CA though!
The same was true in 2020. Probably every person without a Trump sign hates the guy and would vote for anyone else. That's what the Dems count on to get the bulk of their votes.

And probably everyone without a Trump sign are going to vote for the guy in secret but don't want to be harassed for doing so.

"Probably" is meaningless

Just because they don't announce their intent to vote for Trump doesn't mean they will vote against him. Also: usually when one candidate gets a lot of signs posted for him, that usually spurs a response for people voting for a different candidate. I'd expect generic Democrat signs at the minimum.

AOC is the prime example of this. She played the part of chaotic idiot well but always knew to step down when she got a good talking to on the floor. Now the messaging around her is changing completely and she's not AOC the "firebrand" she's AOC the mediator who they allege bridges the gap between the far left progressives and the more centrist types. She was groomed for this all along and will probably still factor heavily into dem politics down the road, because she knew when to bark and when to shut up.

Add to this list Staten Island wanting to separate itself from NYC.
>"What we’re simply asking is, for common sense. We want the mayor to end this. Stop doing what you're doing and listen. Secure the damn border. We do not have a border. We do not have a nation,"
>"We didn’t vote for your policies. We should not be subjected to your policies."

I mean she DOES have a point. There's no reason why NYC has to drag the rest of the state down to its level. Adams fucking sucks at his job and is no better than the last mayor.

But Adams doesn't care. Neither do the rest of the Dems and pretty much 60% of Reps. That is the crux of the issue. The USA is experiencing a straight up 3rd world collapse into corruption where the politicians just do whatever the fuck they want and damn the rest. They just force whatever they want forward and no one can stop them. And even if you try you end up with a situation like California or Colorado where they weaponize the Judicial branch and have judges just block or greenlight whatever they want.

People need to stop obeying unlawful orders.

Sounds like fascist talk to me!

Rural CA would secede from the coast in a heartbeat if given the chance imo

The same can be said about Oregon and Washington. The east parts of the states are more red than the west side.
Maybe Greater Jefferson could become a thing? It's a pipe dream, yeah, but stranger things have happened.
