I also sympathize with everyone who’s had enough of what’s become The Horny Gay Demon Show. While Ozzie and Fizz are one of the less insufferable couples, the majority of their interactions were still “haha sex we’re so gay for each other” with Ozzie being the big daddy dom and Fizz the uwu twink sub. We get it, Viv. You’re still a fujo and always will be. At least Stolas wasn’t irritating in this one.

And as for Viv stopping the Stolitz drama? Yeah, not going to happen, sorry guys. They’re her gay babies and the show has switched gears to revolving around them. This is what we’re stuck with.

Yea like is this what people think relationships are for? Sex sex sex? There are reasons people want to be together other than sex, and anyone over the age of 15 should understand.

This show is full of coombrained yuri writing. Just men having sex and talking about sex and joking about sex. If this was a 15yo's horny fanfic I would get it but...

Who the hell is this show for?

Twitter fanfic writers who want to imagine character X having steamy gay sex with character Y over a coherent plot and story? Even other characters have been dumbed down/made irrelevant so that we can focus more on shipping and gay stories.

The way Viv portrays relationships comes across extremely incel-y whether it's hetero or gay, tbh.

Does she actually have first hand experience of being in a healthy relationship? Because her couples portrayal reeks of "this is what really I want, but never had", the sort of over the top lovey dovey + hyper sexual shit that appeals to hormonal teenagers that have a flowery perception of love and sex until they get a bit of experience.

Yea like is this what people think relationships are for? Sex sex sex? There are reasons people want to be together other than sex, and anyone over the age of 15 should understand.

I seem to recall Viv saying that Charlie and Vaggie had been together so long that they had the calmer, friend-like sort of relationship. Of course that'll probably be thrown out the window and either they'll not be written as a couple OR they'll start going at it 24/7.
Fuck's sake, write the show for grown-ups and let the horny teens write their own fanfiction.

Striker is completely fucking ruined now. He's gone. He's a joke now and whatever grit and masculinity he had back in the first season has been castrated and raked over coals because I guess she was angry people liked him more than the main cast (because he actually does shit men enjoy, he doesn't sit around getting his ass fucked by every man with a dick like every other character in this show).

And Viv just had to make him, in Blitzo's words, a "supremacist" even though he was spitting facts about how the royal class treat the lower demons. From the show, we have seen:

• Paimon paid Blitzo's dad to have him play with Stolas for the day
• Stolas was pompous and condescending to the Wrath Ring demons at the Harvest Moon Festival
• Stolas, Stella, and Andrealphus were at a high class cafe with a tagline mocking poor people

Take a way the comedy, have the setting be as late as mid-20th Century in the US or UK, and you have a period drama.

Just remember that Blitzo is probably "one of the good ones" to Stolas when it comes to imps. Hell, the first first few moments of the new episode proves Striker right when we see an imp servant wearing just an apron and what looked like panties, or Stolas and Stella casually squeezing, which keep in mind probably hurts like a motherfucker because Stolas is an 8 foot tall demon, or throwing around imp butlers in other episodes (Let's be real, those two are both slightly different sides of the exact same coin)
Blitzo probably passes by like, ten imp servants every time he goes to fuck Stolas.

Has anyone watched the actual episode and the leak as well? Apparently there are a few differences, for example Barbie Wire not being there with Blitzø with the fire and a couple of line changing. I don't really feel like watching the episode again just in moving colored pictures, but I am curious to hear about if there are any other differences between the animatic and the final product.

I think the show would've fared a little better if they had a small comic running alongside it. Small appetizers to expand the show rather than have it all over the place. I don't see why the can't do it when almost every cartoon in the 2000s almost had one , not like they can't crowdfund it

HH had a couple of comics on the website that showed what Alastor and Angel were doing before the pilot, I don't see why HB couldn't have something like that.

They took out this little gag where Crimson whips out a dictionary to try and understand what Fizz is saying, which I thought was pretty cute.

They also left the voices unchanged for this part where Striker for some reason sounds doofier and less smooth. It probably means nothing, but given how much Vivzie hates Striker I kind of wonder.

Honestly I feel this show is going downhill either because of a new writer since the writers between seasons is different and the fact that Viv seems to be surrounded by yes-man and quite frankly probably fires or ignores people giving her constructive criticism.

this is a show that that you can't take seriously. If you just watching episode,it can be funny but reading any time of deconstruction makes it kinda lame. Like, at the end of it,it's a silly demon show and trying to make it deep will just lead to disappointment.

If it were a silly not to be taken seriously demon show, I think it would be great. If it had kept the tone of the pilot - gore and loud nonsense, but with heart - I think it would be great. The problem is Vivzie, who wants it to be a dramatic, character-driven work of art that also balances comedic elements flawlessly ala BoJack Horseman and she gets raging assmad on Twitter if anyone implies it's anything but.
