I’ll add not hating women. Women, like animals, can tell when people hate them. Some women seem to get off on it, some women see it as a fixable challenge but the majority of women would like to be seen as a fellow human. Not worshipped by ‘male feminists’ just seen as good wife material who can stand by you as you go through life. When I see so many guys even on here who clearly hate women as a class I feel quite sad. How did we get here? Every hates the opposite sex
The problem people have nowadays is that there aren’t the same places to meet others unless you’re promiscuous or terminally online . You’ve got online dating, which looks horrendous. You’ve got hookup apps which look worse. You have to be extroverted to put yourself out there like that. A shy ish girl or guy who just wants to meet someone halfway normal - where do they find someone?
Not many young people go to church where I am. Very few do stuff ‘in person’ outside of work, college is ok but past that? and when they do stuff outside of work it’s sex segregated. Women going to Pilates and men meeting for a games night. There aren’t so many hobbies where both sexes enjoy it equally. Maybe hiking.
Then all these people look online and see everyone else (it’s not) having tons of sex with beautiful people and they get resentful.

It’s not about being a stand up and having everyone in fits of laughter around you. Can you take a well meant joke? Can you laugh genuinely at stuff? Are you perma-offended at life or do you see the funny surreal side? or if your mate’s toddler says something sweet but offensive to you will you think it’s funny or get upset?
Humour is a bellweather for not being an inflexible fundamentalist shithead. If you can see the funny side of yourself and others then you tend to be, IMO, a better person. You don’t need to be the kind of guy who holds the room while they deliver funny one liners.
That’s why troons are so awful, they can’t be laughed at. It’s probably why this site exists.

What happened to the idea where thing you need to get the attention of the opposite sex, is to be a dependable, reasonable, strong non emotionally stunted human being. The women who go for men based solely on income are miserable people who have negligible fulfillment and require material things in order to feel satisfied. Being a pillar for someone does not solely depend on income, yes being dependable can generate income and status as a consequence but the core still rests within a person and what they do for themselves and others, things that aren't necessarily financially motivated or involved.

People need to love themselves more, and have to be confident but have the humility to admit that they can be wrong.
