There will be also a special live event held at the TGS by Bandai Namco with Shinya Arino (on September 23), the Kaichou of Game Center CX, for the re-release of the two DS games on the Nintendo Switch.

Hell yeah. I'm sure it won't be translated at all, despite the American version being expensive, but I'm glad they're rereleasing it.

I'm not exactly sure if I'd enjoy playing those in Japanese, since part of the fun was flipping through the in-game retro-style magazines and enjoying the cheesy enthusiastic writing. Because, you know, their magazines weren't written by American boomers in the 80s and 90s, so the nostalgia's lost on me.

KOHACHI STUDIO will be present for the Tokyo Game Show 2023 (Booth number 09-E46) to showcase Black Finger JET, a side-scroller game made by multiple returning devs & creators from SNK's 'Metal Slug' team and Irem's 'R-Type' team. It will come out on PC/Steam but a release date has yet to be announced.

Radirgy 2 is due out for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on December 7 in Japan. As previously announced, it will also include a port of the original Radirgy.

D3 Publisher and developer Yuke’s have released the first full-length trailer for voxel-esque third-person shooter Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, which is currently playable at Tokyo Game Show 2023 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan until September 24.

SUCCESS Corporation has announced IZUNA (title tentative), a revival of the DS title Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja for Switch and PC. A release date was not announced.

Clouded Leopard Entertainment will release third-person shooter Earth Defense Force 6 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in Asia in English in 2024, the publisher announced. The Asian version will support English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese audio, and English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles.

Earth Defense Force 6 first launched for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on August 25, 2022 in Japan.

Publisher NetEase Games and developer Nitroplus have announced side-scrolling action adventure game Rusty Rabbit for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam). Wishlisting is also available via PlayStation Store.

The Switch version of TriggerHeart EXELICA will launch on December 14, publisher Cosmo Machia announced.
In addition to the Arcade Mode and Story Mode added in the console release, the Switch version will also feature an Arrange Mode with adjusted difficulty and a Training Mode for beginners.
It will also feature a vertical screen mode, or “tate” mode, and an online rankings mode. A sound mode with additional arranged sound sources will also be included.

Fighting game sequel Under Night In-Birth II Sys: Celes will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on January 25, 2024 worldwide, publisher Arc System Works and developer French-Bread announced. Speaking of Cotton though, really sad about the Saturn game remakes. The Fantastic Night remaster however, worked fine for me despite how bad the reviews are.

Capcom didn't relieve ALL of the classes, lets hope they are keeping some back!

I can't wait to see some really good footage of people playing DD2 on the floor of TGS. The Magic Spear class looked cool (and love one of their skills is throwing the corpse of enemies at monsters).

Almost all DD2 new classes so fart have been from DDO, even Mystic Archer's heal/support role.
Spelllance is spirit lance from DDO for example.
