Yesterday JF said that as time goes on the police will have "less and less traces" of her. He said a year from now there won't be any clues to follow and investigation will die down because of it. How can he predict this?

Because he killed her, he knows where her body is (or its constituent parts are), and expects them to decompose enough to be unrecognizable as human to anybody who might stumble across them.

I've listened to yesterday's MATI and all i can think of is that he's too retarded and he's digging himself into a hole for being a complete retard.
If he actually murdered her, I'm sure he would be Canada's Chris Watts in a couple days, not 3 months.

Chris Watts got caught right away for murdering his wife and kids because his wife wasn't isolated from friends and family, had obligations she (uncharacteristically) failed to show up for, a friend got worried, and the police got involved immediately.

Élora, on the other hand, was isolated, and had nobody in her life who cared about her enough to notice that she had gone missing at all. And how many people watched JFG's original podcast episode about her leaving who were critical enough of him to think that maybe he'd killed her? It was just another, "Women—amirite, guys?" moment. That nobody knew they had kids made her leaving seem even less consequential.

So JFG didn't have cops on his doorstep within 24 hours of Élora's disappearance; it took almost four months for somebody—and not even somebody who knew her personally—to file a missing persons report. And despite having months to figure out a convincing cover story for Élora's disappearance, JFG's still no more believable than Chris Watts was. Maybe he honestly thought he'd never need one.

I do think he killed her, but that it was unpremeditated. And the only reason he didn't fall under suspicion earlier was because nobody IRL cared enough about Élora to notice her absence right away, and his internet audience didn't care either.

What I would give for him to be cucked by the good French-Canadian autist, Masaokis.

Élora could "play with water" all she wanted at Masaokis's place, and it would be an improvement. Totally a match made in heaven.

That said, regarding the alleged sighting of Élora in Moncton on June 19:

What if someone did see her? She could easily have hitchhiked off PEI and into Moncton; she'd hitchhiked before. And what if she went to the homeless shelter, seeking assistance, and called JFG from there—allegedly to tell him that she's never coming back (if you believe JFG), but more likely to tell him she wanted to come home. Or maybe she told him she wanted to divorce—which would have meant a custody fight, and division of assets, many of which were in her name.

He could have driven into Moncton, and picked her up. If he'd already decided she was a problem he might need to deal with permanently—or if she said something in that call that made him decide it was actually time to do it—he could have left his own phone at home, drove to Moncton, found her, and picked her up, knowing he'd never be traced there. If her phone battery was dead by then, it wouldn't have been a problem; he could discard it later.

And then he took her home, and solved his problem for good. Or maybe she didn't even make it all the way home.

The biggest problem I have with any of this is that his burst of cleaning and home repairs from the 17th-19th is exactly the sort of thing I would expect if he already knew she was never coming back. Even if he didn't kill or dismember her in the house, it sounds like he cleared out her shit and was eradicating all traces of her, which is the kind of purge you do after an ex's departure only if you are absolutely done with them and want zero reminders that they ever existed.

So unless there's some solid proof she was seen in Moncton on the 19th—signing in at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen, for example—I think it's either a false sighting, or a ruse created by the RCMP to stir the pot and see what surfaces.
