The lack of application for guardianship previously isn't such a big deal when you remember that the girl was only just a legal adult, she was 19, so the parents automatically had legal guardianship until she was 18, and may not have thought they needed to apply for it yet, until this happened. The court documents say she was a virgin and hadn't even had a relationship before JF lured her away.

It's a serious business to appoint someone as a permanent guardian of a legal adult, since it's removing rights from that person. They can't do that on a whim. Not to mention the girl was at the hearing for the guardianship and apparently raised no objections. Do you think a mentally competent 19 year old is going to stand by while her parents are given full control of her life without objecting? Let's say it's highly unlikely...
Combine all that with JF's open admittances about wanting to impregnate women as soon as possible, that she was only with him for three weeks yet the court papers show he was insistent she was pregnant and his fiancee etc - she was a potential baby factory for him, just like the retarded women he's been openly chasing after/with since. That lends credence to the idea that she really was a tard he lured away from her family home and took over state lines because he wanted a broodmare.
The way he describes children and the process of her having children as "family projects" genuinely sends a chill down my spine.

The biggest problem I have with any of this is that his burst of cleaning and home repairs from the 17th-19th is exactly the sort of thing I would expect if he already knew she was never coming back. Even if he didn't kill or dismember her in the house, it sounds like he cleared out her shit and was eradicating all traces of her, which is the kind of purge you do after an ex's departure only if you are absolutely done with them and want zero reminders that they ever existed.
One potential theory I have that I haven't seen suggested yet (although if it was, I apologise for missing it) is that it was premeditated, but that the house wasn't the crime scene. The thorough cleaning and attempt to remove any evidence of her may have been from everyday domestic violence leaving traces of blood in various places that he would want to eradicate, knowing that the house would likely be forensically examined once the RCMP were alerted that she was missing. From his true crime deep dives, he would know that the spouse is always the prime suspect for good reason. Even more so if he managed to persuade her to have one or more home births the way he was trying to convince that other woman to, leaving a lot of her blood in his house. He may well have killed her elsewhere, but wanted to try to eradicate traces of domestic abuse from the house.
You're also right that he clearly had zero feelings for her. and the cold clean up of any trace of her, throwing things out and getting the house the way he liked it, so soon after her going missing, shows his lack of attachment to her, and that he knew she wasn't coming back.

Someone mentioned JF is obsessed with “the state” so refuses to have ID or get a drivers license. I’d bet he was fixated on a home birth so that he could keep the children from being registered by the govt and that’s one reason he’s so livid about any mention of them. It’s not about online privacy but about keeping their existence secret from the government and society as a whole so he can do whatever sick shit he has in mind for his procreation project.
I’d also bet a decade ago JF got turned down hard by some sperm banks he tried to donate his “genius sperm” to so committed to a total DIY breeding program.

It was a really weird moment, and his voice changed completely as he said it. It's pretty obvious he's still furious that the government intervened when he'd lured his Mexican tard, then intervened again when the wife who had his son got away and he was barred from contact with his kid. There's a lot of rage in that psychopath at having his weird plans thwarted. Given his statements on paedophilia as well, I dread to think what his plans are for the children in his custody.

In most cases of spousal murder there’s a terrible fight, someone loses their temper
and someone ends up dead. Crimes of passion. While this could be the case with JF he also strikes me as a guy who would plan a murder in cold blood. Elora wasn’t agreeable to another pregnancy, she was spending JF’s limited money, probably upset and emotional since she had two babies in quick succession with a autist sociopath. But he couldn’t just kick her out because she could demand custody of the kids, spousal support, etc… so JF would decide offing her would be the best solution. He would enjoy outsmarting the cops and being a IRL Dexter or some similarly stupid cunning killer bullshit archetype he has in his own mind.
I think JFG is basically a one man Leaf Leopold and Loeb. Those super geniuses (who legitimately had very high IQ’s and were far more intelligent than JF) were convicted and imprisoned. (Prison life went very poorly for Loeb.)

Very common in murder cases. They made their presence outside his house very obvious with their vans and early morning wake up calls, it puts pressure on him and might lead him to panic and do something like move the body or lead them to more evidence, then they back off but keep him under observation but in a much less obvious way. Relieves the pressure, and will sometimes lead the suspect to think it's now safe to go and dispose of more evidence/move the body/whatever. It often works.
