Boogie / Boogie2988 / "Francis" / Steven Jason Williams - Fat, Rapidly Declining Divorced "Nice Guy" Middle-Aged Youtuber, Former Edgy Porn Blogger, lied about having cancer and being molested. Cohost of fake drama show "Lolcow Live (LCL)". Just WILL NOT die.

I'm not sure. I struggle to imagine anybody watching that trailer and thinking ANYTHING besides Boogie is the scum of the earth.

I'm also in this camp, not really sure which way this thing will end up going but I'm not gonna write it off completely from just the trailer yet. The first 30 seconds definitely seem like a stereotypical puff piece, but then the rest seems like it's casting him in a more disgusting light (at least to me).

I'm sure I'll be disappointed but I'm still hoping for at least a couple highlights. Historically Boogie can't help but make up new stories or lies when you put a mic in front of his face for long enough, I can only assume the same took place here at least to some degree.

They're all going to think as we do:

DIE, BOOGIE, DIE!

I don't want Steven to die, because I enjoy watching him seethe about how everybody thinks he's a douche.

He is either 100% retarded for not paying that shit off immediately. Or (this is what I suspect) he has remortgaed many times. Another I suspect is taking collateral to pay for Marcos Pizza and Funko Pops

With Boogie, the best guide to his actions is that he always lies, he has the self-restraint of Lowtax, but also has a stupendous level of laziness that is all his own (was going to say DSP, but DSP is a much more active, harder-working content creator). I think the most likely thing is he took out a home equity loan to stuff his fat face with pizza and candy.

The choice of 'Creep' as a soundtrack seems to me to be Clum's subtle commentary on what he thinks of Boogie. He might be letting him hang himself through his own words, but the choice of that song makes it pretty obvious that Clum thinks he's as repellant as the rest of us do.

Nobody's going to watch this and think, 'Oh, what a nice guy. I must subscribe to his channel.' They're all going to think as we do:

DIE, BOOGIE, DIE!
When Dezi is revealed in the trailer the lyrics "but I'm a creep" play. :story:

We're back to this shit.

I feel like it's ultimately going to come down to who is watching, which is arguably par for the course when it comes to content about boogie. boogie's naive audience will likely finish the documentary feeling bad for him with their continued support, as usual, and those more in tune with his bullshit and even neutral onlookers will finish thinking he's a massive retard who continuously creates his own misery showing no desire to change.

there's one subtly I picked up on from the trailer that is either me over analyzing a coincidence or something clum intentionally set up. the scene with boogie whining about his finances was conveniently shot in a dark room with all of his arcade cabinets lit up in the background, which to me is essentially saying, "listen to this idiot whine about money in his house full of toys and memorabilia." there's a subset of people who will still feel bad for boogie even if he was shown wiping his ass with $100 bills, but most reasonable people will see the greed and stubbornness of a man complaining about finances in a comfy home filled to the brim with consumer garbage he doesn't need.

the scenes with dezi can be taken in two different ways. at first glance it does come off as if it's meant to elicit pity from the audience and/or sell some sort of "light at the end of the tunnel" theme. boogie shills will inevitably feel sorry for her and boogie, but others will recognize the abnormality of a 20 year old girl who only just met boogie in person for the first time 4 months ago crying about how she can't imagine life without him. it reeks of emotional immaturity as if they're some high school couple, which is rather fitting given the fact she's 20 years old and boogie still acts like a child.

it's worth noting that during boogie's grand reveal of his relationship, he made a conscious effort to reassure everyone that he was being "careful" with dezi, yet in the trailer he lays down the cold harsh truth with her that his risk of dying is high due to his weight. if she cares about him as much as she claims, then he's just setting her up for disappointment with his lack of action to get his shit together with his health. I wouldn't call that being "careful." it's just selfish. his gluttonous lifestyle still remains more important to him above his so called "love of his life."

overall I do pick up themes of highlighting how full of shit he is but you kind of have to dig for it if you're not really familiar with boogie and his typical bullshit.

Finally watched the Clum trailer. Couldn't help but laugh at Boogie "fighting for relevance". What a first-world tuber problem.

Someone mentioned that silhouetted woman, people speculated it's Dez Prime. Let's look at
1697045127801.png
She has glasses, but god damn that chin. Never noticed that before. I was able to find
1697045756066.png
Side note: Could this be part of why Boogie makes up constant lies for pity? Trying to one-up Dez Prime's trauma? Pretty sure this is a lie Boogie has told about one of his own 'friends' countless times. Also "you are needed & loved" is peak Boogie language.
1697046362727.png
This isn't a perfect comparison, but it looks pretty damn close to me. Keeping in mind that Clum might have hired an actor for some of those other shots in the trailer, it's also possible it's just an actress with a really similar look.

Just to be safe, here's the comparison with Dez2
1697047404383.png
Not even close. We have the two extremes of chins here: the Crimson Chin, and FAS face

Can't edit a quote in, but sure said:

That's a great observation and I hope this is how Clum went about making his doc. Lots of the best documentaries are shot with minimal intervention and let the subjects and scenery speak for themselves. And boy does Boogie speak for himself.

Hopefully we're looking at another Who Is Arthur Chu? documentary, you know those filmmakers went in feeling like there was a fascinating puff piece for the guy because of all the purported racist attacks, etc. but they clearly walked away from it realizing he was an irredeemably putrid, terminally online, vacuous lolcow. They ended up fucking hating him and edited the finished product appropriately. That Boogie is promoting it as revealing his inner soul doesn't necessarily mean much because he's a fat, delusional ape who would try to spin an exposed photo of his past self in blackface as an inspirational lesson.

Mike Clum was visably annoyed and disgusted by Boogie on his stream, would love it if he really did get Dez Prime on and she truthfully talked about what a lazy shit he's always been and watch Booger meltdown online.

Honestly the whole bathtub scene was just disturbing, Boogie still hasn't figured that one reason his audience left is due to his perv behavior and he continues it nonstop. I guess this is why he's a lolcow.

I agree Clum looked uncomfortable and disgusted but he is just doing what sounds best for his career: Boogie sob story and antagonizing his detractors. If we are lucky maybe he will give a more candid look into boogie's weight and finances.

dez prime lmfao

usually, it takes people who meet boog in person a few years to figure out he's a bitch. my guess is clum has not hit the threshold yet and is instead just trying to make a name for himself off boogie's sweaty corpse. i seriously doubt it's going to have a significant effect on clum's career though, just a big waste of time for everyone involved.

would love to be proven wrong though!

You know, I have been wondering about this with some youtubers. Jim Sterling does it as well as a few others.

Now, I was thinking, if boogie does this shit it clearly pisses off some of his fanbase. The people creeped out by his pervy side, we have seen it with him many times. However, that's not everyone. I suspect some people just don't care or not care enough to act on it. But that still leaves, those that like, Now it might be a small number, but it's still going to mean more than a few even if the turnaround is tiny. Now, in that final bunch, you can likely find at least 1 female who likes boogie. I say female because I don't think he is into dudes, and I honestly am not sure woman is correct either. He likes the questionable young if nothing outright illegal.

If Clum was serious about getting views for this, he'd have gotten an actual shot of Dez 1 at the end. Boogie's haters outweigh his fans these days and so many of us are curious to hear what Dez has to say. However, Boogie is involved and keeps telling doubters to "watch the documentary to see how wrong they are", so my hopes are pretty low. The silhouette is rather slim, so if it is Dez 1, kudos to her for losing so much weight.

Here's some of the DMs between Boogie and Dezi which I saw in the trailer:

1697079641745.png
1697079650577.png

"I'm always here for you". Lolol, from some fan he'd never met to that point.

It's once again worth noting these tweets:

1697080334754.png

This is also a great one:

1697087682613.png

19 and 17 year olds can't date, but 48 and 19 year olds can. Boogie logic at it's finest.

And seeing as we don't have a local archive of Clum's trailer:

As par the course when you visit Boogie's Twitter account, there's some retardation to go through.

Boogie thinks that his story is worth telling, despite having told it himself a million times and there now being dozens of documentaries covering him:

1697080483086.png

Boogie is conveniently eliminating the fact that all these "arm chair critic" documentaries work with what they have and what they have is what Boogie has provided. It's worth noting how he essentially rubbishes Joon the King and all the other Youtubers who covered him in this tweet by calling them arm chair critics and saying "we may as well make the effort and tell the story right" - Implying that the other documentaries have it wrong.

Gonna archive a screenshot highlighting how many hours are between Joon's video and Boogie's response video:

An exchange between Boogie and a tweeter:

1697081256491.png
1697081310645.png

Sorry guys, we have Boogie all wrong. He's actually a really nice guy. I don't quite understand how Google is going to fix mine or your perception towards how Boogie is a nice guy offline?

Sporadic reminder that Boogie has cancer:

1697081651926.png

I feel like we would've heard about these treatments if they were happening. It would be pretty hard to get any treatment when he seems to be on a permanent road trip.

Someone in the comments calls him out:

1697082089290.png

Boogie subscribes to him having a "dark and sad life":

1697081764656.png

So despite meeting the "love of your life", having the "amazing experience" of the boxing match, going to all these conventions where he spent time with other creators and his fans....the last 9 months have been "dark and sad"? I thought life was good?

Uhh, not true. You have/had(?) members only videos:

1697082193686.png

The commenter summarizes Boogie fans perfectly. They've avoided watching all documentaries about Boogie, no doubt out of denial.

Clum's documentary starting filming in early Feb. Boogie has claimed that he and Dezi met before she moved in (early June). I'm subscribing more to the theory that they never met before, because when would've it happened? Keemstar visited in late April, boxing match was early-mid May:

1697082480907.png

Yeah right Boogie. You had no say in Mike filming a naked Dezi on top of you in the bathtub? I'm also willing to wager that Dezi has next to no influence on Boogie's life outside of him travelling more. You could replace Dezi with any other whore and Boogie would be doing the same thing. As if a timid, anxious, traumatized, greened out, frail, autistic 20 year old girl has any say over a raging 50 year old narcissist's life.

I thought Mike was the one in control of the content?

1697083366546.png

Did we not theorize many months ago that Boogie begged for money and then was in contact with Clum not long after?

1697083483934.png

This seems to be one of the first times we're hearing about what Clum apparently wants from this.

Boogie livestreamed that evening. Link is here:

1697083736052.png

Just another pointless expense this fat retard splurges on despite being "broke":

1697083894507.png

What does he mean "negativity on his channel"? He's uploaded travel content and origin stories. Unless of course, he's passive aggressively implying that Joon the King has bought him negative attention:

1697084141989.png

This was in the comments, lol:

1697084361508.png

0%.

I also found this incredibly ironic.

Boogie retweets something about fake news on Twitter:

1697084575739.png

He then tweets fake news hours later:

1697084626065.png

I clicked to a random point of his latest Twitch stream, about 30 mins in. I only listened for a few mins, but here's some notes:

This was very, very subtle. But at 30:07 during Boogie's latest livestream, someone asks Boogie if he has Halloween plans with Dezi. As Boogie reads back the question, he trips up and says: "Hey Boogie, do you have any Halloween plans with Ke-Dezi?" Further implication that Dezi's name begins with "K".

At 30:39, he says "It's probably the last Halloween at this house. And that's okay."

At 35:29 he claims that he can't afford an editor to make his videos better. This is despite apparently having hired an editor to do his podcast?????????

At 35:35 he says that he and Dezi poured their heart and soul into his homecoming content and he says for the millionth time that this is "some of the best content I've ever made". "This is me at my best". He goes on to say that these videos did poorly for him and that his gaming news videos do worse. I disagree. His gaming news videos do slightly better or about the same, but Boogie claims that they pull half of those numbers. Boogie should just be honest and say that he doesn't care about gaming news.

At 36:49 he says that if you Google his name "you just see the worst shit". This conflicts an earlier tweet which I included where Boogie wanted some guy to Google him to see the real him.

He then goes through his channel and notes which videos did well and the ones which didn't. His complete lack of self-awareness as he rattles off dozens of vlogs and travel videos which didn't do well is amazing. He even admits as he goes through that the gaming news videos pulled similar views to everything else.
