That‘s why you see young women bending over for every batshit ideological stance that they’re hit with - porn is empowering, trans women are women etc. You can’t be sexy and cool if you dare disagree, no matter how much it hurts women. It’s nothing more than a superficial fashion statement now.

Strong disagree. While there certainly is a pozzed, pink-washed brand of neoliberalism that calls itself “feminism”, it’s a pickme imposter for the real deal. You can always tell the fake feminism because it’s basically telling you to buy something or another for purposes of empowerment, and often as not it’s the same products that are associated with female beauty standards (eg razors, makeup, deodorant) or it’s products that objectify the buyer in some way (sexy lingerie, sex toys to “spice things up for ones man”). On the rare occasion ersatz feminism ever engages in ideology it’s surface-level Democratic Party boilerplate that isn’t even about women.

There is a real school of feminist thought, but you can’t buy it at CVS or read about it in Cosmopolitan

Sorry if this isn't the thread for it, but what do you think the effect of women pooning out has had on feminism? It is insane to me how much feminism has dropped off, even in the last 10 years. Part of that is that all the creepy male feminists who were talking about enthusiastic consent and rape culture are now talking about how letting male rapists into female prisons isn't a big deal. Part of it is liberal feminists who are too scared to talk about women specific issues because they might hurt a troons feelings. But I can't help but think that a big part of it is that women (especially young women) who realize that gender roles are bullshit are taking the easy way out of trying to be a man rather than fighting to change gender roles for women.

I think the topic of female troons is more complicated than the topic of male troons. There are some FtM who are pornsick and transition to be a twink, but the twink fetishization usually is a result of the woman transitioning and now identifying as a man and seeing herself in those twinks, imo. The reasons women transition:
Self-loathing - Women are far more likely to turn their self-loathing inward and change their appearance, hobbies, etc. Men who hate themselves lash out at everyone around them.
