They're also ignoring that blood is affected by the same pigmentation effects as any other coloured liquid on paper. I work in healthcare and considering the saturation of the colours and white light balance it's probably just not coming through as a true colour representation. I have seen blood close to this colour on paper before. Ignoring the fact it may have also mixed with any pigments on the paper.

I'm not saying it is or isn't propaganda; it very well could be. But realistically we know children were slaughtered (and probably raped) all the same as their parents so it's not even really that wild as far as propaganda goes.
