"My plan was to let things cool down a little bit and then reach out, talk it out. That plan worked very well until it didn't cool down."
How can a plan work "very well" if it falls apart on step one? Manipulation skills are on the decline with this one. It didn't "cool down" because Rekieta kept engaging in the drama by "joking" with Dick on Twitter and attacking Eric July's fans instead of calling Eric July privately like a man. Also, this doesn't explain why he un-privated the stream on October 10th, what happened in the first two weeks of October that made it too hot? Here's the earliest remaining mention of Nick apologizing on his Twitter for the stream:

October 1st, what did Nick have to say in order to "cool down" the situation:
Oh, he tweeted (literally) dozens of times insisting that Riley didn't commit a crime and taking shots at Eric July for the DMCA stuff. Clearly part of the plan going "very well." What about October 2nd:
Ahh, ridiculing Eric July's socioeconomic takes, asserting Dick and Vito's innocence, and mocking Eric July for how he answered your questions. Dozens more tweets. Very cool, Nick! That'll cool the situation! How about October 3rd, maybe that's when the cool down plan went into action:
Oh right, that's the day he started going to war with the Rippaverse fan accounts and justified Nina Infinity's role in the initial Dick/Eric July livestream. Surely that was going to cool off the drama.
By now, I shouldn't have to point out he did this literally every single fucking day following the stream going private. What did Eric July tweet about Nick in that time period?
He was never going to privately contact Eric July. Full stop. The most annoying part about this was looking at all the people tagging Eric July and saying he has a blacklist because Nick said so and Nick would NEVER lie like that!
