Obviously I don't know for sure, because I am the opposite of privy to what goes on in her inner circle, but writing gay erotica seems like the kind of thing that would be right up her alley. Especially LOLSORANDUM XD gay erotica like "pounded in the butt by my butt." (to be fair, the "lol butts lol" thing seems pretty common with the Goon crowd.)

....and the "if I win a Hugo, I want Zoe Quinn to accept it on my behalf" thing. that was rather "convenient".

I wouldn't be surprised if one of Zoe's friends was Chuck Tingle, or someone in the SJW community.

Obviously, Chuck Tingle is one of Zoe's friends. We're getting into tautology land here, though, since he's actually acted as her friend repeatedly recently.

Not just their market. They feel THEY should be earning what PewDiePie earns, and hate his guts for how much he earns compared to them. They hate TB because he earns more than them, too. Granted, TB makes a lot less than Felix, but more than most game journos earn by probably 3-5 times. Felix, Smosh and Jenna Marbles are all outliers on YouTube, obviously, but even people like TB and Angry Joe can and do earn enough to live without a traditional job. Even people like Rich (ReviewTechUSA) earn enough to survive and have spending money without a traditional job.

Game journos hate that they may start out at $30k a year, in ridiculously expensive cities, and may jump up to $60k if they make it to EIC of their site. They feel that their writings and "insight" is worth way more than that; and they hate YouTubers who get by with just YouTube as their main source of income.
