when you actually start looking at it, you realize that none of the people trying to enforce gun laws talk about vt or cho, because they well know that someone can do just as much damage to an unarmed civilian with a couple of pistols depending on the circumstance.

I would consider a mass shooting to mean more than one person shot. I guess one could argue three (more than two) being a better "mass" but it's a quibble. The official number was lowered from four to three so the total "mass shootings" stat could be higher.

My problem is requiring the fatalities instead of just being shot. That's new in the past 20 or so years. The whole "mass shooting" hysteria is also a recent invention really and it came from the anti-gun movement. They require multiple fatalities to qualify a "mass shooting" now because if they counted every instance of 2+ or even 3+ people being shot at a time the racial stats would be overwhelmingly skewed. Hell there were probably three mass shootings in Chicago today alone.

Lewiston and Auburn actually have sizable Somali communities, a demographic I have TBH heard nothing good about, no matter where they settle. They rarely assimilate, and there's an unwritten rule that doesn't exist with any other ethnicity that you can't criticize them. I'm glad they haven't been settled en masse in my town, that's for sure.

South Portland, ME had an elected Somali mayor from 2021-2022. Maine has a large and growing Somali population..

Looks like shit is still going on on Meadow road in Bowdoin, Maine. Apparently police have been investigating a home in connection with the shooter and the cops told press to shut off all their lights because of a dangerous situation.

Apparently armored vehicles, a bunch of cops, and drones are now all over the place, this is the place with the loud bangs earlier. State police from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine are on the scene. Police yelling "Robert come out with your hands up."
