No show tonight everybody, got lucky and opened my phone right when he put this out.

Remember those halcyon days not so long ago when the main topic of nick related discussion in this thread was debating about the tripod?
It's wild to think that the current flurry of discussion isn't much older than a month now. It's felt way longer than that, but it also feels like the thread has been nonstop action since maybe late July/early August? The thread has made me more interested in Nick than he did alone at all in the last year.

That was a long time ago before we understood the lifestyle of Nick and his wife. We call them bulls now. And there is more than one of them. There are at least three confirmed "tripods."

Do you take it every day, or less often, and do you drink and/or smokeweed?

I have no experience of Provagil/Modafanil.

I was just curious about why Rekieta was claiming to be spending so much money on a generic that costs nothing.
Yes they are the same drug, no that's not the retail generic price. If you walk into a pharmacy with a script and ask for 30 tablets of their finest generic Modafinils, they're going to ring up $700 or whatever, however there's a dozen or more free "discount" memes out there depending on the drug store.

That's insane. The price of 30 100mg Modafinils in the UK is £3.21. Less than $5. 30 200mg tablets is £7.12
(This will be the price that the pharmacy pays to the drug company. The pharmacy will also get a dispensing fee.) If you were getting a private script, you'd pay something closer to the $20 price.)

Don't you have competition in the USA?

Ah, I see there's been some anti-trust action in Europe against the company who originally had the patent for delaying access to the generics.

This is a bit in the weeds but, why not? I'm glad you're going to start tracking live viewers when you're able to do so considering that we're expecting a Locals drop-off after 12+ months from the bannings.
Higher? What is the context here?
The context is this quote from yesterday:
He got 200 exclusive viewers in LOCALS during a subscriber-only show. It was at 4 AM local, so this only establishes a floor for those who can catch him live.
The point is that the shorter his main shows, the earlier his Locals streams will be and the more live viewers he's likely to get before people go to sleep. You've mentioned that before and it makes sense. For example, when he did a Locals stream from Vegas during the day I recall that there were something like 700 people watching live.

But, actually, now that I'm reading your quote closely, I'm not sure I understand it. His show on Tuesday night (for which I believe you're referring), was 3:05:06 in duration (short for him) and he started 20 min late. Assuming he did not take a long break between shows, that means he should have come on the air for Locals at around 2:40 a.m. Central - his time. Don't his Locals shows only last for 20-30 min? I'm just trying to figure out the 4 a.m. time that you mentioned. But it's not that important. I'm just really happy about this:

No show tonight everybody, got lucky and opened my phone right when he put this out.

In reply to a video about a woman literally crying because she had to commute to work. The logic is getting so bad that it's layered in awfulness. Virtually no impressions either. I'd be shocked if he makes a penny from this awful tweet. Not even 500 views combined. Yeesh.

That's not even a proper sentence in the second tweet.
How many ways can a person advertise his low standards? Clocking 9-5 regularly, as a lawyer - even a part-time parent-supported trust-grubbing country lawyer fresh out of school supposedly trying to establish and grow a business - is a joke. Particularly considering he seems to think even that's too much effort. Huh, wonder why he was never any good/couldn't make a living at it. I'm amused he keeps malpractice insurance (per the MN Lawyer Registry) - "just in case," I suppose.

And the answer to "schools only teach 90 minutes of material" (press X) is "if kids can learn more, teach them more," not "only spend an hour-and-a-half on your kids' educational foundation." You'd think such a Prominent Lawyer would value education for education's sake, rather than operate to the lowest acceptable standards.

Nick's annual payment in car registrations: $800 for Mustang, $850 for Naviator, $400 "van" (?). He said he'd normally not pay bc you can ignore it for a year if not pulled over. (Sounds like he's not taking that chance.)
Was he whinging about this? Nearly all of that is tax deductible in MN.

MN bases registration taxes on msrp + destination fees, in a complicated calculation that depends on the date the vehicle was first registered in the state. The % of msrp/dest fee taxed goes down by 10%/year, and at 11 years there's a minimum low-mid two-digit amount. Rates increase notably in 2024.

There are additional fees not attached to vehicle msrp, not too high.

So if you're a midlife crisis whiner and buy several vehicles in a short span of time, your registration fees are going to be high for a few years. Solution: don't be a twit, or at least don't whine about it without acknowledging why and that those are deductible.

I think there was a time I was on his show and he explicitly said he agreed that it could be considered child pornography, because that was when the Texas AG was trying to indict Netflix over it. Might be worth pulling up.

The dude's dead though. Rekieta's dead and now there's just another gay retarded flesh puppet.
I remember when TAL bodied JSG and Rekieta streamed TAL’s video since it was relevant because JSG was getting into a slap fight with Nick. One of the things JSG defended was Cuties and Nick raked him over the coals for it.

Funnily enough a lot of the shit said in TAL’s video and even Nick’s stream regarding JSG… well give it a watch again. It’s quite funny yet sad how you can replace it with Nick and it feels like he’s talking about his future self.

I didn't expect my mention of Nick's Provigil story to get so much traction. Tad stressful because I tend to do these notes in the wee hours and in real time. It seems I was accurate, however, Nick does a better job of explaining the the fuckery of the US Rx system. I can confirm that what he says is not uncommon.

PROVIGIL STORY 1:06:15 - 1:10:00

Bonus: on the topic of Nick's many medical dramas, if anyone wants to hear him discuss his terror at getting a vasectomy, it's in the same stream at 00:33:40.
Edit: A word

Have not been in this thread in a while, so here is something I personally found funny.

Nick's loss of love towards his wife can be scientifically displayed. As we all know, Nick likes to talk about how beautiful other women are, and has been quoted as saying that his wife's body has been "ruined" due to child birth. Well, there have been studies on this.

"When heterosexual interactions become a stable romantic relationship, people’s evaluations of their lovers’ facial attractiveness also change. Price and Dabbs (1974) observed that a girl considered a boy more attractive when she fell in love with him, according to the adage, ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’. Conversely, the attractiveness of other opposite-sex people decreases in their eyes (Johnson & Rusbult, 1989; Miller & Simpson, 1990; Simpson, 1990)." [All links go to this study's citation page]

What can we glean from this?
If Nick truly loved his wife, he should find her more attractive over time rather than rating her more highly before births. He would also not be inviting OnlyFans women on to stare at or openly speculating on all the things he would like to do with them (Mandy), because this women would be less attractive comparatively.

Of course, this should be common sense, but I enjoyed stumbling on something that can help pin down a conniving weasel.

He didn't make a post on twitter or youtube..... You know the places where most of his audience would see it.
I’d guess this was a strategic way to incentivize people to sub to his Locals, except that this is Nick, a bone idle drunk. He just doesn’t give a shit.

Nick once again won’t do his job because of some task he’ll have all weekend to do. He got really lucky stumbling upon the laziest way to make money and seems determined to fuck it up.

If Nick Rekieta was a sleeping streamer he’d still find ways to miss scheduled streams. Sure hope his kids have some other father figures in their life who model a healthy approach to earning a living. Maybe Kayla has a brother who works?

No show tonight everybody, got lucky and opened my phone right when he put this out.

Kayla and Halloween costumes... well, 'tis the season, so here's a link to @Balldo's Gate's own tale from the (Locals) crypt from April of this year, wherein it is revealed that Kayla planned to use part of her son's Halloween costume for a sexy photo shoot. A sample:

Sexualizing something worn by their own children is all kinds of wrong, though coming from the couple who want to build a sex dungeon in their home where their young children reside (and possibly near their kid's rooms?), this unfortunately seems par for the course for them.

For any newcomers to this thread, this is one of the many reasons some here have concerns about the Rekieta household.

This is truly disturbing, not because anything untoward actually happened, but as Dennis Reynolds would say "it's the implication". Nothing a child owns should be used for sexual activities. Absolutely nothing. It's absurd, there is no reason to do it besides your own depravity. On the off-chance you really like the look of that costume, you can get your fancy non-practicing lawyer husband to buy you a separate one. Any normal parent, hell, even 'sex-positive' parents would baulk at this idea because it trips a line in most people's minds that what they're doing is crossing into the life of an innocent. It speaks of retarded or non-existent boundaries, no wonder Drexel finds it so easy to be around.

Yes I'm slightly MATI but being a father myself, this is crazy.

You rang?

"Yo kiiids! Uncle Drex just got off work at the Delta Terminal, hauling all dat luggage. Let's all head to the hot tub! Your mom and dad uh... need to try on some clothes."

Yeah the actual price anyone pays is between $20-$30 for 30 200mg tabs. The $700 figure is the "manufacturers suggested retail price," because the guys that manufacture generic Provigil say "hey, this drug is literally the same, but the name brand is $1400, and ours is half price! What a steal!" This is mainly so pharmacies have a starting negotiating point with insurance companies. Like I said, I don't have any special or fancy health insurance, I pay around $340/mo for my entire household and my monthly script is that $22.50 number I quoted earlier. If Joe Blow without any insurance walks into a Walmart and says "I'm here for my Modafinil prescription, I don't have any insurance," the pharmacist will just charge them that $29 number because that's the "free discount card" price.

Basically, if you have insurance, the drug is $700, and your insurance covers $680 of that, but if you don't have insurance, or your insurance doesn't cover it, the drug is just $30. Lmao.
Do you take it every day, or less often, and do you drink and/or smokeweed? I'm really curious about the non-typical stimulant effects/interactions that have been reported. My pet theory us that getting cross-faded with it all the time is why Nick is so fucked up now.
I generally take it every day. I don't do any drugs, but sometimes I drink. Even then, I rarely drink to excess. I have been drunk on Modafinil, but I didn't notice anything particularly odd about the experience. That being said, Modafinil is one of those drugs where side effects can vary wildly. Personally, the only real side effects I ever experience are the appetite suppression and the occasional headaches. Other people I know on it report more serious ones, but in the four years or so I've been taking it I've never experienced anything those.

I would like to give you a firm thumbs up or down on your theory, but unfortunately I can only give a lukewarm "meh."
