Diseased Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

I cannot think of a current IP that has a predominantly male fanbase as of current year, perhaps Rick and Morty would be one, or South Park. Dunno, Male fanbases seem to be quite tame and somewhat feminized nowadays. Unhinged males like incels don't seem to attach themselves to media brands like femcels seem to do.
I'd say because men aren't as prone to aggressively attaching themselves to fandoms as women. They just kind of passively enjoy things, and don't associate themselves with that thing as much.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that. Once upon a time fandom was an exclusively male phenomenon.

Apparently a lot of people got butthurt that I may suggest the characteristics of a predominantly male fandom might differ from a predominantly female fandom, but you can't fight the obvious evidence.

Predominantly male fandoms never got to the abject depravity that predominantly female fandoms are known for. Troons are a product of feminized geekdom. Change my mind.

Nerd culture was built by men, cute streamer not like other girls uwu pick me whamen moved in, troons destroyed it.

The worst thing that male fandoms have ever done is be slightly cringe on occasion. None of the completely Islamic shipfics, extreme lunacy, or drama wars in female fandom.

And you might argue that it's because I'm a penis-haver, but I find femcels scarier than incels.
You are a retard then.

Fuck off. You don't know anything about anime & vtubers then.

You act like the Rick and Morty sauce thing never happened, Juggalos don't exist, and like the gun/war fandom doesn't exist. You are truely retarded and acting hoitey with your tone; I can almost smell the glass of box wine you're swirling in your plastic, dollar store champagne flute.

hah, this piece of shit is the last person I would expect to be praising someone like rowling.
King is definitely a big Rowling fan, Harry Potter is canonically part of the Dark Tower universe in a fairly integral way. In fact, (spoiler for the very end of a 30-year-long series) The last battle of the series is The Crimson King throwing Golden Sneetches/Snitches at Roland and Patrick Danville.

Found this Reddit thread. People in the comments list some other connections between Harry Potter and The Dark Tower, and there's some RDS in that thread too.

is still convinced that the hogwarts game's entire plot is about the player suppressing a goblin rebellion. Nothing else. No subtly or nuance.
The slightest bit of fairness I can offer, which is still using the preface of people only vaguely looking at the surface level of the conflict, I feel like Rowling labelling it the 'Goblin Rebellion' has always been an odd choice. It evokes the idea of an organized effort to take down a system they work under. As far as I can tell, this conflict has never been about Goblins fighting against oppression or even trying to overthrow the Government of their land, they're not even beholden to the Wizard government outside of banking.

They just don't get along with wizards because of cultural outlooks on possessions (they see wizards as having stolen the sword of Godrick Gryffindor because, despite him commissioning and buying the sword, they believe that the smith who forged the object retains ownership no matter what) and because wizards won't give them wands, so they organize to uncover secret power and attack wizards.

The Dr. Dooms in Wolves of the Calla throw snitches, too!

Don’t hate the guy so much, he meant heterosexual male fandoms.
But even then I‘d say it’s pretty close.

Haven't played the game, but I always imagined the Goblin Rebellion as being more akin to an intifada or the race riots in Tibet and Xinjiang where Goblin neighborhoods essentially became no-go areas for wizards and Ministry of Magic but never really pose an existential threat to the wizarding world as a whole.

the Troon movement is the main reason why milquetoast feminists radicalize themselves into misandry nowadays, because it's fundamentally misogynistic. The moment a male rapist is accepted into women's prison and any protest is deemed bigoted, it becomes obvious that a troon's feefees will always trump women's safety.
The incel-to - trans pipeline is well-documented even in Troon circles. Why do you think mtf are always after lesbians? Because like they're after the women they can't have. They slut themselves up into a grotesque parody of womanhood and claim it make them more deserving than "cis" women. They're degenerates who think prostitution is a woman privilege.
What I'm going with this is that the MtF movement is nothing but politically correct misogyny. It proved to women that even in progressive circles, they will still be deemed inferior to men. Hence the surge of radical feminism.
