Nick will be interviewed next Thursday by Stuttering Craig of Screwattack efame on his Side Scrollers podcast. I'd say it could be good given their DSP interview but that is a far cry from their recent ones. They all seem to be softball interviews with "friendly" guests and they don't even read superchats to the guest.
My expectations are low, but it would be pretty funny if he's baiting him into a hard-hitting interview like he did with DSP.

There’s a religious teaching that a sinner can achieve a level of righteousness that’s unattainable to those who always do the right thing — if they sincerely repent and change their ways, using their experience to help others.

Has Nick ever been sincere about anything except how much he loves bourbon?

Has Nick ever owned his shit?

Has Nick ever made amends?

Hell, look at what he calls “apologies” — tripling down on dishonest takes while saying he wishes he’d used a different tone.

Nick is more of a slug than a man. No redemption arc is on his horizon.

If you use that time Jim asked "hard-hitting questions" on Kino Casino that were absolutely not softballs at all as a point of reference, then yes, it will definitely be an hard-hitting interview.

What is the most recognizable lapse when rekieta went downhill? The rumble contract?
Don't know about everyone else but I noticed he didn't seem like he used to be after the Friday "fun" stream where he took off his shirt and said he wanted to be "the king of degeneracy". I noped out of the replay because I didn't think it was fun anymore, I was already getting tired of the Nth sexual exploit story from Coomalot at that point.

Then I found out that he ended that same stream by fawning over Elissa Mandy and talking about how much he wanted to sleep with her. He kept trying to cover for himself by saying he couldn't have sex with her but that she was going to make some guy very happy. You could tell by his intonation that he was fantasizing about it while he was telling her. Then finding out that he asked to have that clip removed seemed kinda slimy.

I feel like old Nick would have just said "Yeah, I drank too much and acted like a retard but that's how it goes". Nu-Nick seems duplicitous and underhanded, especially with how he's been interacting with @Null lately and lying to his audience about what he actually said.

So, I guess, for me, it was the beginning of the Friday fun streams that marked a noticeable change. I think around the time they started was also when he was talking about wanting to interview a porn star, which at the time seemed really far afield of what I thought his show was.

According to Juju, Nu-Nick is who he really is, based on his past behavior on the Dick Show forum. Maybe old Nick was just a mask to begin with. I don't know. It's disappointing to say the least.

I am a Mormon and we absolutely believe in the divinity of Christ. Where people get caught up about us is that we believe that The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct, but equal beings, instead of one entity. We believe that Christ is the literal and only begotten Son of God. We do not believe that Christ is lesser as a result, as all three are one in purpose.
Bruh, come to the light. Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were the Dick & Vito of the 1800's.

I'm confused as to what he would even talk to Nick about. I guarantee Nick is going to lie the entire time about everything.

Considering he made a snipe at Null during his attempt at stand-up "comedy" to people presumably mostly unfamiliar with the Null vs Rekieta lore, I'd expect at least something similar happening in this interview.

never stepped a foot inside a courthouse

I don't know much about American Lawyering or Lawyering in general but I'm curious, does every Lawyer worth their salt HAVE to step inside a courthouse? Aren't there Lawyers that dedicate their life to the more "bookish" side of the craft?

Not trying to defend the Balldo Lawyer because he's shit at it anyway, but I'm genuinely curious.

@Kawaii Supremacy

In hindsight I think that my personal drop-off was the switch over to Rumble and noticing him shilling his Locals more, but what really made me quit watching him altogether was him inviting Coomalot over and over again.

What is the proper end goal for a lolcow? To redeem themselves and become better or to burn out in spectacular fashion? The last few pages make me wonder this. If Nick quit drinking, admitted to being a retard about stuff, and got back to "old Nick" would he be redeemed or would we still cheer for him to fail? I genuinely used to semi-look up to the guy before a lot of this shit came out. I mean there was a period where he basically just talked about what it was like to be a professional, be a man, and have family/christian values and suddenly now he's an alcoholic cuck with no redeeming qualities. Strange downfall.
In my opinion you become a proper bonafide lolcow once you lose the ability to redeem yourself, and Nick has become one. If Nick somehow pulls up then good on him, but from what we have seen, he is unable to accept that something is wrong with him and everything is the fault of the evil Karen farms.
I prefer routs. Routs are funny.
I am with feral cat on this one, as much as I like redemtion arcs, I prefer it when a lolcow crashes and burns.

Also can someone tell me what happened to the big brain panel lawyers (Burch, Peacock, etc.)? I have not heard about them in forever, did they distance themselves from Nick or are they still around?

It was also bizarre to me how Nick was giving shout-outs to Riley from the stage, as if anyone there knew who tf Riley is.

The world is not Twitter, Nick. Hell, even the tiniest fraction of Twitter knows who Riley is.

Not Elissa, Mandy.

Elissa he wants dead. Mandy he wants to have sex with. Despite it being a catfish. On second thought, maybe because its a catfish and Nick is gay.

No.

Moot point. He doesn't have enough experience at either in court or out of court lawyer shit.

Short answer: No, there are many lawyers that don't do courtroom work, but Nick didn't market himself as a non-courtroom attorney.

Longer answer:

In practical lawyering in the United States, there's two general paths a lawyer can take: litigation or transactional. This is an oversimplification, and many lawyers do work in both domains (and there are other niche areas as well), but most lawyers tend to specialize in one or the other. There are, of course, law professors and legal academics, but these sorts of positions are extremely limited and extraordinarily competitive.

Transactional law is what Ty Beard primarily does. It concerns topics such as mergers and acquisitions, securities, tax, capital markets, estate planning, etc. These lawyers rarely, if ever, step inside a court room and actually argue legal disputes. They are more about facilitating the transfer of property and assets from one party to another or writing legal documents.

Litigation is what people think of generally when they think lawyer. Courtroom stuff. Disputes that go to court with argumentation. Can be civil or criminal, in federal, state, or before an administrative agency's court. These lawyers generally tend to have a specialty as well, but a number will practice "door law" (as in, whatever comes through the door).

Nick never really did either of these things but nominally presented himself as a litigation attorney and generally misrepresented his level of expertise and insight on that subject. He's handled a few small matters and not much else. He really has essentially no practical experience or even good substantive knowledge when it comes to the law.

In order for Nick to understand, he'd have to be able to accept reality. He's very far from that right now. Denial is a huge part of addiction so again, this isn't surprising -- just more proof that Nick is a textbook drunk.
This quote isn't explicitly the one I should use for my forthcoming comment, but it will do.

Some people here are convinced that Nick will never quit drinking. That Nick loves drinking more than his wife, children, career, etc.
All of that is true. There is one thing Nick loves more than booze- and that's Nick.
Within the next 1-5 years, a doctor will sit Nig Rackets down and talk about cirrhosis. Narcissists don't like to admit they are susceptible to normie issues, and Nick will quit drinking.
Here's how it will go
" How would my wife and family survive without me"
" Poor Kayla is so wrecked, I have to stay alive to take care of her"
" No one else is capable of coordinating this family- I have to take care of myself."
Blah blah blah. Me Me Me.

Unfortunately, I am way too familiar with the lazy narc drunk lawyer archetype. I found it especially telling that Nick's son wants his Mom to teach him how to drive ( as someone mentioned in the thread- I assume it's an accurate report). In a functional family, the teenage son would beg his father to teach him how to drive in the snazzy Mustang that girls would drool over.
Instead, Nick's son prefers that his mom teaches him. Probably because she isn't an egomaniac that will spend all the time trying to assert dominance by denigrating her own child. You all know that Rekieta views his son as a threat- it's part of the mid-life crisis thing. I predict (hope?) that boy kicks his ass sometime soon.

And as far as AA is concerned: As Nick's views dwindle, he will embrace AA. He will go to meetings because he will have a captive audience to talk about his favorite subject-
not booze, his favorite subject is himself. The Very Special Boy that is Nig Retarda.
He'll have to drive to Minneapolis to avoid the locals, but that just means he's earned a happy ending massage, right?

I’d need to drink every waking minute too if I’d perpetrated this kind of fraud on people who then supported me financially as a result. I’m sure one of the reasons Nick loves Dax is that Dax tells him this was totally fair behavior and anyone who objects to a little fraud is a Karen.

Which would be ironic given how much he said he hates DUIs and how he wouldn't defend them
I know it was posted before, but how old is the clip where he said that though?

It might be ironic, but hardly unexpected, given how he's reversed his public position on seemingly everything else.

The issue is he's talked in the past about what defamation per se is.
Ah yes, the one where Ty Beard made the extact example of someone insinuating someone to be a child abuser. Probably the only thing he got right so far...
I'm almost certain that Cardcaptor Sakura was like the number 3 after Touhou (Slobmutt rages against the Ice Fairly all the time) and Lyrical Nahoha for lolicon shit before Genshin Gayshit* Impact replaced it.
I seem to recall the imageboards talking/making a rather infamous parody porn game based off Cardcaptor in the 2000s but I might just be retarded.
Then again, you have Japanese VA's claiming to be 17 years old +X days (Oi, Oi Hello FBI!)...

Sir, the FLDS would like to have a word with you.

@Himedall All-seeing Waifu I believe you made a comment about the Into the Darkness / Q stream but I cannot find the post? I remember most of that video only because Drexel seemed extremely angry for what I now suspect because of the ambush of a bunch of "ratched ass hoes". See this post of mine. I also recall that stream being the Boondock's textbook definition of Nigga synthesis + Nigger moment (A complete fucking disaster). Basically it was a back and forth of the women accusing Drexel of being a player and thus a shit human being (true), and him shouting back that back that bang all the men you can women like them don't deserve anyone better (also true). Drexel then went on Nick's show to shit on them and made the claim that Q said something about Nick's wife (or that he wanted to bang her, I don't recall) and Nick never talked to Q after that.

*Yes, Genshin is gay (The wrong version) because I refuse to believe women play that game judging from a recent MATI.

At the risk of people thinking this is thirst posting (it's not), I think @elb looks way cuter than Mandy. She's certainly more levelheaded. Thus proving, yet again, we attract the superior female posters up in this bitch. Just like when we poached all the best girls from PULL and left them with the fat feminazi cat ladies.

I honestly don't see what he sees in Mandy. She's not terribly attractive IMO, and she seems cray-cray. That tit pic that keeps circulating around Nick's Locals was allegedly taken when she was in high school. Which causes me to have all sorts of questions where I'm afraid of the answers.
