serbia was a dirt poor ex commie state whose military consisted of rusty old yugoslav hardware, they were completely defenseless and utterly incapable of fighting back against american attack.
israel is not a backwawrds poverty hole like that, and while their military is small-ish (still a lot larger than any euro force right now) it does have state of the art high tech equipment and nuclear weapons at its command. burgers can't bomb them into submission for free without casualties like they could with serbia - and doing it anyway would not simply result in a bosnia style capitulation and cringe "peace" (more like frozen conflict) agreement like dayton.
instead, as soon as israel is seen as losing, the surrounding arab states will pounce on the opportunity to realize their 'from the river to the sea' dreams they have been longing for since 1948, which means total war, which in turn means israel is likely to go nuclear since they're facing actual annihilation either way.
I know the difference. In terms of applying a law that is supposed to be universal and applied to any state actor, it's irrelevant.
We cannot have states with special status in face of international law, because the rest of the planet will see, notice and start disrespecting said laws as irrelevant, exactly as Russia did and as China will do. "We have nukes, fuck you".
Serbia and all former yugo states are a much cozier place for me than anything middle eastern, including Israel. If US bombed that to dust, why not just bomb Israel too?

The US is running cynical geopolitical empire/sphere of influence gayops, yet publicly demands rules based order and liberalism.

If you embrace the cynical power above all else, my country above all others view, which is legitimate politics to be clear, you lost all legitimacy when you moan about what Russia or China are doing. Everyone will simply return to the medieval era of empire building and constant war - all because the US can't help itself and it cannot figure out some subtlety and fairness showing.
