Yeah... and the courts were working with Eisenhower on his executive order. Thats not what this is. You are asking to rip out generals and command staff until you get yes men. The only way that doesn't result in a coup is if full control is already established. Then you purge. That is military 101. Otherwise they will destroy you and the country motherfucker

Federalization of the Arkansas national guard in 1957 was in direct response to the state government refusing to protect the civil rights of residents of that state. This is expressly allowed under the Insurrection Act

Federalizing the national guard to use it for law enforcement purposes without the consent of a state governor to suppress nigger riots that do not threaten the existence of state government, are not a rebellion against federal authority, and are not effectively voiding federal law, is illegal. The only habbenings in 2020 that fall under that rubric were:

-the creation of CHAZ, a literal insurrection
-the repeated attacks on the federal courthouse in Portland, Oregon, which could fall under either rebellion against federal authority or an effective voiding of federal law
-and the attacks on the White House the night of May 31st and day of June 1st, 2020

That's it. Anything else would have been successfully argued as violating the Posse Comitatus Act. It would have resulted in impeachment and rioting on an even larger scale, with the prospect of significant portions of the military officer corps refusing to obey orders from the president when he would have inevitably invoked the Insurrection Act again to deal with the new round of larger and more destructive riots nationwide

If you think that Trump could have done something, remember that that fat fuck Vidman wasn't strangled with a piece of commo wire for perjury.
Point of order:
Vindman was too fat to strangle with any length of wire.
You are asking to rip out generals and command staff until you get yes men.
This is how every presidency except Trump's has worked.
This included Truman removing MacArthur, who was the fucking hero of WWII
This is not due to lack of power by Trump, but lack of experience.

No, but none of this is at all within the bounds of judicial ethics, let alone law.
Both the sheboon and her pet judge are absolutely off the reservation at this point.
I wouldn't bother watching until the appellate level, it'll just be a source of anger for no reason.

Pol rapefugee misses out on so much of the joie de vie

Sources of my sides splitting apart today from Engoron's kangaroo court, courtesy of the madlad himself:
[Trump] “It’s election interference because you want to keep me in this courthouse all day long.”
[Trump] “This is a very unfair trial. I hope the public is watching.”
[On the question of if he was responsible for deciding what amounts would be put in financial documents regarding the value of his properties] [Trump] “I think I was certainly more expert than anyone else, so if somebody would ask me or if I had an opinion, I would give it."
[NY AG lawyer] "Do you think anything needs to change at the Trump Organization due to this case?"
[Trump] "No." :smug:
[NY AG lawyer] "Were you aware Mr. Weisselberg was being compensated with apartments paid for by the company?"
[Trump] "I don't think that's a big thing. Is it? I feel bad about the whole situation."
[NY AG lawyer] "When Mr. Weisselberg pled guilty, did it change your view?"
[Trump] "It was a sad thing. He was targeted because he worked for me and I ran for President and did very very well. It's a very sad thing."
[Trump] "You have to spend money to make money. It's not material. Now they say, let's take all his properties away like they do in Communist China. In this country today, a certain judge could do it." NUCLEAR LAUNCH DETECTED
[Trump] "She [Letitia James] doesn't know what 40 Wall Street is worth. She doesn't even know where 40 Wall Street is. It's going to do very well in the future." :smug:
[Trump] "Having a good net worth is a positive thing, can't say it's not."
[NY AG lawyer]
"It says it's marketed as a 72 story building but it's shorter. That it throws off $50 million a year."
[Trump] "I haven't dealt with Forbes in years. I think they are out of business." :smug:
[NY AG lawyer] "Let's talk about 40 Wall Street. The N.O.I. is accurate?"
[Trump]
"Long ago but I think so."
[NY AG lawyer] "I'm handing up a document that has not been pre-marked, an article, that the audio from September 21, 2015--"
[Trump] "Forbes is owned by China." :story:
[NY AG lawyer] "Who was responsible for being compliant with GAAP?"
[Trump] "I'm not sure it's required. But accountants were paid a lot of money."
[NY AG lawyer] "Do what did you do?"
[Trump] "I've answered that five times."
[NY AG lawyer] "What is the answer?"
[Trump] "Accountants." :smug:
[Trump] "He [Judge Goblin] said Mar-a-Lago is worth $18 million, what a fraud. As President of the US, we did a great job. Just look at the president we have today. It's a terrible thing you've done. You believed that political hack back there."
[Trump] "Disclaimer clause."
[Judge Goblin] "No, we're not going to hear about that. Read my opinion about that-"
[Trump] "He called me a fraud and he didn't know anything about me."
[NY AG lawyer] "You do not agree with the determination of the court?"
[Trump "The fraud is on the court."
[NY AG lawyer] "You don't believe the AG's positions?"
[Trump] "I think she is a political hack who wants to be governor. It's a disgrace this case is going on. Legal scholars agree with me. This is a political witch hunt and I think she should be ashamed of herself."
[Trump] "People like you go around to try to demean me and hurt me. People like her [Letitia James]."
[NY AG lawyer] "Was Allan not careful?"
[Trump] "He was. But there was the disclaimer clause, also called the non-reliance clause. This is disgraceful."
[NY AG lawyer] "You did not build a hotel at Aberdeen?"
[Trump] "Because I didn't want to. I have a castle." :smug:
[NY AG lawyer] "Do you stand by this?
[Trump] "I haven't looked at it in years. Carry it forward to 2021, all of those valuation were too low... We have the disclaimer clause, they always hold up in court, except maybe in this court."
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED

The best way I can think of it is that they're just following a story. They're told what the narrative is and where they're at. They aren't actually having an opinion based on what they know or how they understand things. They aren't even looking for any of the information to do so.

It's why I think I managed to not fall into it with friends and family. I also probably just waste more time online. So during BLM I was watching videos of riots and violence. Whereas they were just having productive lives, casually getting some noise of what to think.
When it comes to boomers at least, they have been The Target Audience for pretty much as long as TV has existed. Television has catered to their interests and desires and played to their sensibilities so extensively that they treat it like a primary sense organ. What is on television is what is real. What isn't on television might as well not exist. They are so mindfucked it's amazing.

Now take this, and swap out tiktok and zoomers.

Have you reached a state of absolute depression or murderous rage yet?

I suspect the average democrat and swing voter didn't really know about the riots. If you told them about CHAZ/CHOP they'd have no idea what you are talking about and think you're talking some looney fake news things. The bubbles people are in to detach them from reality are insane.
The reality of my experience was much worse. A lot of them very much did know about the riots, and cheered them on because "it's just stuff/this is social justice/it's racist and you aren't being shown the full story/etc". I cut a lot of people out of my life during 2020 when I realized they were the type of combination of dangerous and stupid that usually results in bloodshed.
On what planet is the commander in chief not the commander in chief?
If he issues orders, and the personnel receiving commits insubordination, that is cause for demotion, termination, and court-martial.
There are worse things than being fired, btw, such as being busted down to private and ordered to patrol prudoh bay on foot for the remainder of your tour.
My nigger in Christ we had the highest ranking general in the country at the time telling a nuclear armed nation that fucking hates us that he would give them the inside angle if Trump wanted to strike them and would act to subvert the commander in chief to prevent a launch.

In the society required to do the shit you're expecting, that bloated girldick sucking faggot would have been executed via firing squad for treason after that. Notice how he wasn't?
The ugly truth of realpolitik is that as soon as you start talking about this type of shit you are besieged by bad and worse options. People seem to forget that one of the reasons the civil war was so bad was that because of differing loyalties a lot of the shit that should have been followed to prevent war from even happening was thrown out the window in the name of feels. The result was hundreds of thousands of American dead and to this day retards freely assert all that blood was spilled because a bunch of mean evil racist rednecks (who were mostly too poor to even afford slaves btw) really liked enslaving blacks.
When push comes to shove you might as well try using a strategy guide to play calvinball as try to predict which political minefields of a cold civil war would be passable, and that is effectively what you are discussing, a cold civil war that could very quickly become hot.
Note that I'm not even saying that's the wrong answer, but you should be aware of what you're insisting upon and the reality that until it lands nothing is certain.

He wasn't found out until Trump left office.

Extremely true.
The longer the problems are ignored the worse they become, like a roof leak.

The longer it takes to confront this crap, the worse it will be.
As it stands now there's a very high chance the cowards skitter like roaches when confronted from a position of power.
For all their preening, these commies have once again lost control of their coalition of the fringes and the money-baggers and lumpenproles are back at each other's throats.
but you should be aware of what you're insisting upon and the reality that until it lands nothing is certain.
In war there is risk. In "war by other means", those unwilling to take "risks by other means" lose.
I'm glad to see the right kicking out the dachshunds and bringing in the mastiffs.

I wish I had your optimism. I haven't seen much from enough people in power on the right to feel they'll get enough support for anything more than milquetoast governance at best and subversion of the voters will and compliance with the same regime if they had their way.
That kind of power will take more support than we currently have though, much more. And we are living in an age where even an actual diagnosable retard can be aimed like a kamikaze missile to fuck up plans by the right glowie.

Just keep in mind what is being done to Trump and his voters via the twisting of the legal system.
You don't get much "hotter" in a "cold civil war" than that before things go kinetic.
Anyone not voting for Pinochet Americana in their primaries and general is asking for the continued emboldening of these commies.
Fighting back will be ugly regardless, but the sooner and more aggressively it happens, the more likely we are to avoid a repeat of the Spanish Civil War.
Trump has been changing his tune on the capacity of the existing institutions to be redeemed.
At this point a second term of Trump is one of the least ugly options, even if it means writing the name of a prisoner onto the ballot.

On that we are in full agreement. It won't be a miracle cure all to the division and divide in place but it would sooth a lot of anxieties over us being led by a retard with pudding for brains during the lead up to WW3. The truth is in times like this sometimes it's good to have the quick witted guy who you know actually likes where you live and has a loud bark and louder bite. Trump would absolutely nuke the shit out of Russia or China if he thought they were about to kick things off and they know it. Biden would probably still be sleeping by the time half of America's cities had been first striked. Trump remixed Teddy's advice and speaks loudly with a big stick and sometimes that works.

In other breaking news, expect new Trump trial fuckery soon, Engorfag is gonna be pissed.

He wasn't interested in a stick in his first term.
What he went through, and continues to go through, has ended his quaint boomer faith.
He'll be at war domestically with the right enemies if we can wedge him into office, and that's what matters.

Fire them and have them court-martialed for insubordination?
(and if staff refused to do that, he'd fire them, too, and on and on until the enlisted ranks were promoted and became NCO's, and they fucking loved him)
You have some good takes but you honestly get blinded by righteous indignation a lot. Turns out doing the "right thing" usually gets you fucked in our lovely world. Trump is already a black swan in that he can can respond "no and fuck you" without being publicly destroyed in seconds, no other politician has that combination of charisma, presence and energy. You also have honest to god real belief in the system, that sooner or later somebody will actually give a shit about the law and set the record straight, and though I sometimes see what you mean, a lot of others I just see that it's pure hypocrisy and double standards and even then, what happens with the time wasted with the bullshit? The process is the punishment after all.
Yes, in an ideal world, Trump would've been allowed to call in the troops without much in the way of insubordination. However, as we do not live in a perfect world, he had to deal with cowards and traitors in the highest ranks that could've overthrown him if they wanted. Politics is as you said war but one aspect of that Sun Tzu once said is to know when and when not to fight. Trump was fighting a battle he couldn't win at the time.
And like stated here, even though he's the best we have, he can't go full bull in the china shop, everything is constantly scrutinized, everything is constantly double guessed and double looked at when it involves him. If there is a minimum possibility of using it against him, it will (same deal why I understand he didn't pardon the Jan 6 guys). Could he have pardoned them? Yeah, but you would have another 7 kangaroo process going off right now and with easier narratives to paint. He's Teflon Don, not indestructible Don.

This is not due to lack of power by Trump, but lack of experience.
No, that's how every president IN THE CLUB has worked, and those that weren't in the club or didn't play ball well enough were either killed (JFK) or nationally disgraced (Nixon). The Nixon case pisses me off so much more since he is still considered the sleaziest polititan in all of America when he just wanted to make the glow in the darks be accountable again, that is the worth if righteousness and doing the right thing in our world. I only learned about what really happened to Nixon like a couple of years ago, suddenly makes me look at history with a lot more weariness, how many monsters of history were anything but?
I wish I had your optimism. I haven't seen much from enough people in power on the right to feel they'll get enough support for anything more than milquetoast governance at best and subversion of the voters will and compliance with the same regime if they had their way.

Pretty much, we do have people with real fire, but they are rare and most of the time get fucked on the way there, never forget Kari since she's a textbook example of what happens when you make too much noise. I'm happy the FC made it where they did and they seem to actually be doing some proper noise, but them gaining more members or being crushed will be a big part of how the dominos will fall and Trump is the wall that can protect them and allow them to grow.

People constantly tell me about the faults of Trump, yes he has many, but Trump isn't the endgame, Trump is the spearhead, a lot of stuff needs to happen after Trump for clown world to stop being clown world. It's CRUCIAL that he can set up roots and enable MAGA to keep growing. He knows it and they know it, hence the constant screeching circus we see. And if he fails, and after getting kicked twice in the face in 2020 and 2022 I consider this a very real scenario, you need to evaluate what comes next and that it's likely not going to be pretty because I don't see anything that doesn't devolve in civil war that doesn't involve Trump.

The above post reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend recently.
We basically went through what policies we'd promote if either of us ran for office, which would include legalizing marijuana and pardoning all marijuana-related offenses, expunging mandates from government lexicon, the government taking an official position that it has no business in personal medical decisions, strict immigration policies, establishing the policy that the government only exists to hold up your rights not create new laws and restrictions, affirmative action and any other pseudo-intellectual justification for prejudice goes the way of the dodo and anyone found trying to enforce it would suffer sanctions...

...you know, things that would benefit people and demand a sense of agency and responsibility...

...and either of us would be shot or eliminated quickly because there is no god damned way either side of the government would put up with that sort of thing.
