I really dont get the corporate greed part. Their numbers were bad, so they took an axe to this, could have they gone about it better? Sure I wont disagree. But this wasnt some evil-handle bar moustache twirling thing, it was to work off the costs of stuff thats losing you cash.

TL;DW: Yahtzee says it's another tepidly bogstandard Sonic game. The tacked-on Multiplayer modes are a baffling waste of time.

He didn't like it before, for completely reasonable reasons, and then he did a complete 180 after it blew up. That shattered my trust in his recommendations.

Ironic whenever Sonic tries something new, this fedora faggot raged about it. Sonic goes to be more OG, this faggot still rages about it.

To be fair, he's right about the multiplayer parts of the game. Other than that, it's mostly the final bosses that I've seen people complain about (multiple phases, no extra rings or checkpoints, instant kill attacks and you can only hit them at precise moments) as well as the Jun Senoue-composed music on the soundtrack.

It's not as good as Frontiers (especially with all its DLC improvements), but it's a far cry from the mediocrity of either episode of Sonic 4.

Why Yathzee stuck around with him I will never know, but I figure it's because deep inside he is the same kind of soyboy as Nick.

I don't want to be too much of a cunt to Yahtzee because i liked a lot of his content over the years but you just have to take one look at him to see that he isn't a peak alpha male supreme. Birds of a feather and all that applies.

The Escapist is a corporation? It's a failed website that finally reached its sinking ship phase. Trying to spin it as "capitalism bad" is just reaching, especially as YoungYea is infamous for fellating actual corporations. Was the initial firing even explained? Could just as easily being the guy was a sex pest, which is the norm in these gaming journos.
