Notice the wording, too. "Gee, Lily, I just don't understand what the problem with this particular issue is! Could you kindly explain it to me?" All of her self-sent Asks have this weird tone, almost simpering or groveling, then you'll get an actual fan who tries to match the tone and get screams at for it.

It's weird and pathetic. If she wanted to make this rant then she can make the rant without pretending somebody prompted it. Doing it this way is just a way to pretend that (1) other people care so much about her opinion on these things and (2) she isn't keeping an eye on Poppy, oh no, somebody else just happens to be sending her information (for which she instantly knows the context).

In response to this post I don't know why Courtney is citing going to the town of Bridgewater, an hour away from Lily apartment as a threat.

It's actually worse: Sugar did an interview with Variety that released on the 10th anniversary where she was asked if the franchise will ever return. She replied that "she'd appreciate it if people made as much noise as possible", since that's really what works these days. The thing she was banking on got all the attention (even trending on Twitter for a good bit), while her video on the thing did not.

Think it was just trying to cash in the 10th anniversary, not Cartoonshi-- I believe Lily announced this video was in the works quite a while back. There's also been an ongoing trend of people reassessing their harshness toward SU so she's trying to ride that train, too.

But I really just want to point out the difference between these two. Not that I'm fucking watching Lily's video so I'm just going off what Tuna reported, but she opens it with hate and vitriol and blaming somebody else for why she was so harsh on it. "If I was wrong it was because of Lizzie." She talks in anger and spite.

Meanwhile, Cartoonshi's video -- and I honestly recommend anybody with a passing interest to watch it, if you have the time -- was motivated by love. Not of the show, but of somebody who shared it with him and led him to appreciate its value and message in spite of its flaws.

I feel kind of bad my mind's been poisoned like this but my thoughts at the end of his video were that he's an anti-Lily-- he also had an abusive childhood and suffered a tragedy, but instead of turning toward anger and bitterness he talks about healing and wanting to help inspire people who were in a similar darkness. What a wonderful sentiment.

To think. This kid, this child that lily has the balls to warn her fans off of as a neo nazi three years ago has grown so much. At only 19 years old he speaks with such vulnerability and strength, his troubles colour his world, but despite all of it he chooses to keep living to keep striving despite the pain. To speak about his childhood pains and tragedies the way he does takes heart and guts, what a legend.
