To powerlevel a bit, something my mom pointed out to me is that often when you see "injured" children, at least what they show on the news, they have them face out, or face exposed, and not nuzzling a baby/child. She's basically checked out completely on anything from the Palestinian side, viewing it as basically fake bullshit.

Another question I'm dying for an answer two is why exactly Israel would waste time, soldier's lives, and the goodwill of other nations to attack the Al Shifa hospital if they didn't think Hamas was headquartered under it. For what it's worth, my friend who's in the IDF said Hamas is shitting themselves over this and didn't expect that Israel would actually conduct a ground operation for the purpose of fully eliminating them. It's true that even the most logical thinker can't figure out why in the world they'd carry out such a massive (suicide) operation on 10/7 without an actual goal of like... a land grab or something?? Probably they anticipated to just take a couple hundred people hostage and negotiate for their prisoners, but then managed to do a lot more damage than they expected due to the huge IDF security failure. Due to the temptation that came with uninterrupted access to defenseless Jews for several hours, the barbarians could not simply stick to their initial goal of a humble hostage taking and had to chimp out and torture everyone in sight. And then the civilian rapists had to breach the border as well to get in on the fun. Regardless, it seems like they didn't expect Israel to be as furious as they are.
Part of me can't help but wonder if they'll surrender after Al Shifa is destroyed, but as people have said on this thread a million times, Israel is dealing with an enemy that would rather blow themselves up than admit defeat. So probably not.
I like to be able to keep up with the latest updates, but that's not easy in htis thread because of the casual bs'ing. I also like to be able to take shots at each other, but you're making that irritating by having to split that between two threads.
