thanks for making this thread. i brought this up in chat, not because it was scummy, but because i'm really confused on the motives here. what's the point in just stacking up money in a non profit? it's not like the money is even doing anything, so what's the end goal?

I've always thought in his videos he has a very smug, obnoxious aura whenever he covers speedrunners who've cheated or whatever. I thought part of it was just that he's an absolute autist who is way too invested in troons fighting other troons to see who can bing bing wahoo the fastest, but even then, he's always come off as very self-righteous and almost spiteful about it in a way few others do. there's rarely any humour in it - you can tell he's always booty bothered about it.

The suggestion is that the money isn't there and the filings are bogus. Knowing what I do about Karl he likes to put out videos with only a fraction of the stuff that he knows about to bait the person's next move - at least he's been doing that to Billy Mitchell. I have a feeling there's more coming out soon and Karl knows. I also don't believe he stumbled onto this organically and someone pointed him to it.

EDIT: I finally found the 2022 filing Karl uses in his vid. I had to check 5 different non-profit search tools before I found one that had it, it's attached to this post. There's a breakdown of their $11k total expenses:

I kinda like his deadpan, true-crime narrator, delivery. He talks about speed runners cheating like they were serial killers and this is Dateline. It's unintentionally hilarious and it's double when he does an ad spot for Manscaping.com. Hearing him say "ball toner" in the same voice as "Billy Mitchell raped and killed a girl in 1990" makes me giggle.

But I can also hear where he may come off as smug or condescending in his speech.

oh that makes sense. they honestly could've gotten away with claiming it went to a facility that gets donated billions annually. it would be a drop in a swimming pool, but no, it has to sit there and look suspicious as hell.

his brother is definitely the mastermind behind this though, IF jirard is innocent.

Rate me dumb if ya want, but i'm confused... how do we know the money are still in a account? because Jirard said so? If he is a scammer for something as serious as dementia based on his mom then why would we trust him that the money is still in the bank?

We don't know, that's the whole point. That these guys haven't already produced a bank attestation that the funds are there is a big red flag. They've known this expose was coming for a while and could've provided evidence to Karl before that vid was released.
