I am aware Ian from Forgotten Weapons has done some fairly cringe NAFO related activities. But I don't see him as one who will help someone write a bunch of bullshit. His videos at least from what I can recall have always been neutral to positive when it comes to Russian/Soviet firearms.

I believe Ian will either dip out and the video will be published with the classic LP misinfo and lies or the video will get eternally shelved because he can't make it "funny" (lie through his teeth)

I agree that theres little point in trying to shit on the AK. The best he could hope for is basically "Yeah its good but its still overhyped and doesnt have the literally mythical properties attributed to it" which is the same sentiment you could apply to a list of various weapons.

Then again that could be bias. I am an AK fan, having a Serbian made Zastava, and preferring it to the AR platform because I don't like the sound of the recoil spring in the tube and I disdain the presence of the forward assist.

Still if Piggo wants to maintain the illusion of credibility he's got to know he can't get away with calling it a bad rifle, and thus he's going to have to work around the pretense of "It's a good rifle, but" which will undercut any points he's trying to make.
