He will be a homo who the Christians (coded to white) were evil to him, hence he has to hunt them down. He will brutally kill a homophobe (who is a white man who sounds like Trump) and the player will cheer him on with his mixed race son who is a tranny.
I mean they shoved the anti white and, for some fucking reason, anti iraq war shit in the films, nothing is off limits.

Just wanna throw my 2 cents in here for Silent Hill Ascension;
I watched the premiere and the overall consensus among the live viewers (that wasn't just shit flinging) is confusion over the story. Many people were like "what the fuck is going on" and I gotta say I agree.
Giving the benefit of the doubt to the developers that their story, when all is said and done will be a 10/10 masterpiece, still fails because the SCREENWRITING is bad. Scenes just sort of happen in a sequence without any connection between how you get from one place to the other. There's no cohesion.
When writing a screenplay you gotta guide the viewer, you gotta do establishing shots, you gotta do exposition. You can't just have Scene A where Characters 1 and 2 experience event X and then hard cut to Scene B.
From reading what the director's been saying on twitter (bad move, btw. Every social media manager in the world knows not to do that.) I think they shared the story beats with the writers of Stranger Things and they were like "Looks good bro," because there's no way you could show that screenplay to seasoned veterans in TV production and not have them go "What the fuck is this?" unless they're apathetic or they want you to fail.

It always makes me a bit MATI when people say, “Silent Hill needs Kojima to be good!” Not only has he never made a silent hill game and knows nothing about the franchise, but he’s also an awful writer. Silent Hills was gonna be dogshit.

That's another thing I don't understand why people had so much faith in him.
Is Kojima a good director? I think he is with all the bitching I've done here if you can believe it. Although he was obsessed with lens flare in V.
But can he write on his level of directing? Absolutely not. SH has always been about subtly, SH2 more than any one of them.
What a way to retcon an iconic character of the series. Fucking fantastic.

Dear lord, if 4 silent hill games being developed at once wasn’t bad enough, there’s actually 5. Konami is trying so hard to milk this franchise after survival horror got big again with re2 remake. It’s pathetic.

Fact of the matter is that Silent Hill was better off dead. When it comes to psychological horror and trauma themes, they perfected it all with SH2. Albeit 3 was a good game, the high was coming off fast.
Pretty sure it's been mentioned in interviews that after 3 was done, Team Silent had nothing else to offer. They knew that brand of horror is starting to run its course, and for SH4 it was renovate or die. Imo they achieved that succesfully, 4 and 2 often clash for my personal top spot, but their biggest mistake was not pursuing their own changes. They saw how polarizing 4 was at the time (i believe more and more people have come to appreciate it recently) and rather than letting the franchise rest, they screwed the pooch and insisted on making SH2 again, over and over til they hit the jackpot one more time. No need to mention how that went. They massacred my boy and didn't even bother to give him a proper burial.
Now these vultures have undusted the corpse and gone back to doing exactly the same shit that put the franchise in a coma; Trying to make SH2 one more time, this time with a sprinkle of niggerfaggotry that nobody wants

Nepotism is what's ruining franchises, and that corpos are reviving dead franchises that used to be good, and in this day and age, it's boils down to soul vs. soulless.

They are courting the female demo, and thats what they do. Make it into a shitty soap opera with all the female talking points like trauma and depression.
Women have been a disaster for anything they get into it, it always turns into soap opera shit about empowerment and overcoming past trauma.

I was going to say "I would actually be interested in seeing a (PS2 era, before gender roles went crazy) horror game about a female perspective" but isn't that just Rule of Rose? Or Yume Nikki?
I was about to pontificate on a female version of Eraserhead but then I realized that Yume Nikki has some sprites that seem to directly reference this sort of thing.
