When did he take Null to court?
He didn't directly and I don't think Null even joined the motion to quash or hired representation. Some of the Does were on the Farms, though, but I think only John Doe 1 (Quasi) filed a motion to quash.
(ETA: @Useful Mistake noted above that Null did in fact retain two lawyers, Robert Barnes and David J. Lang.)
ClownFlare was the recipient of another subpoena and after giving Null a date to respond by, just caved in like the gigantic gaping pussies they are and handed the information over early, which I don't believe was of any actual use to Fatty anyway. Fatty basically gave up after losing and Quasi getting a judgment against him.
He had run out of other people's money.
Yeah. You'd think that before talking about "Saturn launch failures" in public you'd pop over to Wikipedia to find out, you know, if there were any. This is fairly "in depth" knowledge to keep in your head, but it's not like "Explain the atmosphere issue on Voskhod 2."
I almost always do that (preferably not with Wikipedia these days) when I'm actually correcting someone on something even if I know it already because it's embarrassing as hell to correct someone while being completely wrong about it yourself. If I don't it seems like it's a guaranteed disaster every time.
I believe it was Quasi, Null, the ED admin, and 60 John Does identified only by their screen names, one of which was our boy
@Caverlock who created this thread.
The case caption from the Motion to Quash:

And this was satellite litigation from the case-in-chief in Wisconsin:

The docket, which unlike most California courts, actually links to documents and not cryptic docket entries:
So this is an adversarial action brought by Quasi in California state court to quash the subpoena issued in a case in Wisconsin.
Null filed a motion to quash in the Wisconsin court.
From the docket:

And it was after THIS that Fatty voluntarily dismissed his own case.
Sorry this is a mess but I shot from the hip and said some dumb shit and then actually checked the record, which I
should have done before even starting the post. Ironic since I said I should do that in this very post.
