I'm not the biggest fan of cancel culture, because people can grow and change and oftentimes the biggest zealots have some horrible skeletons in their own closets. But there should be no coming back from writing fanfic where you decide to throw a detailed discussion of preteen on preteen rape into it. Whenever this greasy pseud of a kike says anything, anywhere, this should follow him around. 2) Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality,
3) The Flare programming language (or, contributed to it).
4) His own autobiography.

To recap: he created an atheist Christianity cult from the ground-up, a fanfic that's explicitly meant as a vector for his atheist Christianity cult's tenants, and a programming language that's pretty much Lisp using XML tags instead of parentheses which makes it Not Like The Other Programming Languages. He wrote his own autobiography when he was around 20 or so IIRC, it's a fun read if you want "rational" arguments on why Buffy the Vampire Slayer is the best TV show.
Your judgement if any one of these things is worth anything.

EDIT: oh, and he created the "Timeless Dilation Theory" which may sound like a troon manifesto but can be boiled down to "predicted events in the future influence the past" - so if you predict that your car will run out of gas, you'll tow it to the nearest gas station. Edit: This is essentially hearsay so take it with a grain of salt, but around ten years ago some people I knew applied successfully for some remote "research assistant" positions at MIRI, paid like a thousand bucks a month for supposedly 20h of work per week. During the application they had to prove they could google some country level statistics or something, that was enough. The first couple of weeks they actually got assignments, then the people of MIRI seemingly forgot about them but kept paying them. Weren't even hurting for money in this grift back then, seemingly.

I don't want to dig to quote it but someone on here was lamenting about what these people are like and ended with something like "and I realized they're just kind of losers" and this is just exactly it - basically the collective agreement the tech-AI crowd has come to (the, uh, real ones who are employed by or founded actual profitable tech companies lmao).

A lot of people who were into what he was saying waaaay back in like 2015ish have gone to college and outgrown him. It's like being a 15-year-old weeb and wanting so badly to be part of the really cool late-twenties/thirties cosplayers you see online who have $1500 costumes. Then you get to that age and you realize those kinds of people are living in a shitty one bedroom apartment with roommates, working in call centers and spending money they don't have on anime figurines and you don't actually want to be them at all. There is SO much money and so many people in tech right now. Don't let Aella, Yud and the gang fool any of you into thinking that just because there's a few rich weirdos in the crowd willing to fund them that they're doing okay. Honestly, the fact that no one is trying to silence Yud when AI is about to become a very high earning capitalist endeavor where regulation is *not* wanted is just proof they aren't being taken seriously. I'd even go so far as to speculate the powers that be (Altman, the competitors to GPT and the like) kind of let him do his thing because if Yud is the face of regulation? Yeah, that's not a good look. I'm not hating on anyone's lifestyle... but, c'mon the general public isn't ready for sex workers and polyamory.
