It is in fact possible to respect someone you don't like. It is possible to like someone you don't respect. It's also possible to agree with someone who is everything you disapprove of.

Example: I think @Procrastinhater is a sexiest, homophobic, superstitious, close minded, controlling arrogant twat and if I were married to him, I should flavour his coffee with poison. And yet, more than half the time I click 'agree' on his posts because he does have a reasonable grasp on common sense.

I also think @Android raptor is a nutjob, but if we were to one day find ourselves on the same continent, we'd have an awesome night on the town getting drunk and trying to pick up chicks.

People are complex and we have complex views on each other. Try not to be such an autist about it.
