Navy SEALs, Delta Force, and SOCOM general - The most "Special" groups in the U.S. Military

The comments are roasting him too. lmao. What a dipshit. Who ever let this knucklehead get into the teams
Rob reminds me of a lot of guys I know who played football with post concussive syndrome. When he's lucid he can be remarkably insightful about things like tactics, but when he's not, he's totally off the rails. On his podcast, it's just one long ADHD stream. He must have been extremely competent at one point because his troop (a ~20 SEAL element) didn't suffer a single casualty during the surge in Iraq going out daily.

Yeah that's the other one. I don't think he actually saw any combat. There isn't some conspiracy among every other SEAL to cover up usage of the MK23. It just really didn't ever get used.
No, Dave for sure saw combat. He really was the stereotypical SEAL sniper. He didn't take the Mk23 into combat, as far as I remember him saying. He fired it quite a bit in testing for the SEALs and might have done some dives with it. The link about watches that @Justtocheck posted has a story about how he was injured that I heard back in 2008.
@Dean Pentel What do you think, Dave deserves to be on the OP? I've been watching some news articles, including the artwork of "Until it hurts" lawsuit, which I don't really understand, and some boomer tactical consoomer of watches. I like watches as well so I can't hate too hard there. Do you have weblinks or sources for your quote.
I don't think so because this wasn't a case of Dave contacting George Sandmann, the owner of Empire Rifles back in 2010 and conspiring with him to fuck guys out of their pre-order deposits for rifles. Instead, as a moderator of tacticalforums.com (fuck me I'm old), Dave would ban members or delete posts that were critical or skeptical of the claims Sandmann made about why he'd miss deadlines and delivery windows he promised. The thought was that George promised Dave a rifle/rifle(s) if he helped deflect some heat, but this is an assumption as nobody has their comms logs to prove this. Assuming that website still exists, one has to log in to see the posts and I bet a lot the stuff from this incident isn't there anymore (Dave deleting stuff, ownership changes, server migration data loss, etc.). Hearsay from some oldfag on this site is not worthy of being cataloged in the OP.

As far as his problems with drinking, that was relayed to me by a friend that let him crash at his place for a bit when he was having trouble at home over it. This was a friend Dave would later stab in the back over money.

Aight man, since you acknowledge most is hearsay, I will refrain from naming him. But thanks for your info. If you think anyone else should be in the list and have links, do share.

Lol at the normies trying to do 'Bootcamp' training and 'Marine training' and 'Navy SEALs training' thinking they'll get jacked.

These trainings are not to build muscle or strengthen anybody. Quite the contrary, in fact. They are designed to weaken people physically and psychologically so they can be broken so hard they can Abu Grhaib the fuck out of people.
I left bootcamp as a fucking twink (:_(

If Dan Crenshaw exemplifies something, it's the cynical manner how one's service is used as a political tool. He's a generic suit that's as empty as they come and if not for his Moshe Dayan cosplay and service record, he wouldn't have been elected.

Imagine being maimed and having PTSD over a bullshit war that America left nothing to earn his and his fellow men's sacrifice for other than MIC stocks and still shill for war.
He's the average pro-war veteran psyop crap, he just needs the baseball hat and the "psychedelics/weed cured my PTSD yo!" to finish it off.

At least he didn't nearly sink a carrier like the Admiral's son.
Didn't McCain have a questionable conduct as a pow also?

I'm surprised people think soldiers should be jacked.
Specially if run on MREs that are always on caloric deficits, due to the fact soldiers spend a fuckton of energy, you can't get exactly build muscle and keep it in a warzone unless you're doing nothing but gym workouts and taking steroids like most of the special forces dudes in this thread.

Cardio is far more important in a warzone anyway.

Modern soldiers have to carry a ton of weight. Obviously being a roided out bodybuilder isn't practical but way to many guys are hungry skeles which leads to getting injured.

I think modern guys are overloaded as fuck.
Most injuries are from artillery and explosive shrapnel anyway, a flak jacket is lighter than body armor plates.
Just see the Ukraine war videos, people can't run from drones or retreat, they move sluggishly.

Or the American experience in Afghanistan where Taliban with long comfortable civilian clothes and sandals could easily outrun and outposition American soldiers.

We need to send our boys out in polos, khakis and tactical crocs in order to counter the enemy's comfy sprinter strategy.

as someone non-military, can someone explain why vets hate john mc cain and crenshaw so much?
You serve in a military unit. It's a service to the country, to protect the constitution of the US and its people from enemies both foreign and domestic. A veteran CAN be a good politician, but what's frowned upon is the use of your service for clout, societal advancement and political influence. Many people fought in the same wars, had more horrible experiences and don't advertise it to get a cushy job in the government, towing the party line, making you rich. It's seen as scummy, and exploitative of the characteristics of true and honest serving.

war mongers that have profited on the deaths of young Americans. There's never been a war they haven't voted against.

Many vets have become jaded knowing that everything they did in OIF/OEF was for naught, and McCain was a big proponent of the wars. Eye patch is seen as continuing his war mongering legacy, as well as being part of the old school neocon republicans

That's why the first thing they look at for promotions are good run scores. You'll be top of your game in other areas but they'll always look at your run score first.

In addition to this, Crenshaw got a lot of flack for going against his base. After the 2020 election a lot of his constituents believed strongly that the election was stolen by Biden (no comment). Crenshaw did some retarded press conference where he basically insulted his base's intelligence and if I remember right called them 'un-american' for questioning the election. This all but confirmed for a lot of people that he was 100% part of the status-quo controlled opposition.

why do they keep trying to psyop drugs to vets, too? Weed and shrooms don't do much long term.

you and the other guys above have been very informative. thanks.

CIA created LSD to try to turn potential enemies into drooling peace loving zombies who will not revolt or be effective resistance to the goverment.
