Since she's just a youtube content mill and has to put out 3 videos a week she can't afford to actually research videos. He points out an example where she made a video about the Stanford prison experiment and just quoted an article for the entire video. And it was only later that people pointed out to her the experiment has been widely debunked. Which forced her to take it down and put up a new video.

This is notably not an issue with Internet Historian as outside of the Man in the Cave video he did research videos considerably. A good example being his Balloon Boy video where he actually interviewed the guy involved and went against the popular narrative around the event.

I can see why he ended up cutting this segment as the 4 initial segments are meant to setup the James Somerton part. However this part about her rushing her videos because she is just a content mill just bloats the runtime.

I run a fairly small youtube chamnel as a hobby and make about $1000 per 100,000 views. longer videos pay out even better, and high sub accounts also get better cuts on CPM and clickthrough. Ad reads can get up to like $10K per minute for Raid Shadow Legends, and no doubt you gain more negotiating power as your sub count rises.

Every youtuber is a horrible liar about how much they make to grift their audience, and I don't doubt IH and HBG have made ridiculous amounts of money off this.
