Navy SEALs, Delta Force, and SOCOM general - The most "Special" groups in the U.S. Military

And please do explain to me how low T has anything to do with bacterial pneumonia from being in the ocean for days and repetitive stress injuries from running in boots. BUD/S has a really intense physical screening program before you even get in, so they are not getting the fattie zoomies. And people know they have to train for max standards in the screening and are still getting crushed. The dude who died was a former star defensive lineman (Kyle Mullen). And, the best part, now think about this, why the fuck should low T matter, since everyone there is chugging steroids? Do you know who goes to BUD/S? Former High School or college athletes. And those dudes start doping since they are 15-16. Please stop watching boomer TV and getting boomer lore from whatever you watch.
Hormone levels from childhood through puberty affect life long health. Hormone levels do affect everything from bone and joint health to heart health and even intelligence. On a more extreme scale, look at what puberty blockers do to trannies. Taking steroids starting when you're 21 doesn't magically undo years of development. Young people also have higher rates of vitamin and mineral deficiences which the military is attempting to address through supplements. I'm personally friends with an endocrinologist who's been practicing since the 70s. Baseline standards for what are considered healthy hormone levels have been Re-Normed for men and women. It's not some conservative "people are weak these days thing". I don't care about men being "not being real men", like Tucker Carlson says. It's a serious health issue that affects everything form fertility to cancer risk. BPA, PFAS, and other pollutants weren't made up by Alex Jones. The EPA isn't lying when it says they cause health issues. Though Alex Jones did poison the well on the issue with his retarded "they're making the frogs gay comments".

The reason why the attrition rate is so high and health issues are up is because zoomers are so low T and unhealthy. The standards haven't gotten harder. If anything they've gotten easier.
There's not just one standard in the military. There's getting in the door, there's training to get you in shape/wear you down psychologically, there are standards for certain branches/specialties, there's additional specialized training/psychological breaking-down, and of course all of this can vary greatly depending on which individual(s) is lording over you at any given time and how sadistic they might be.

Standards have been lowered in many areas, but at the same time it has become culturally acceptable to push soldiers past conditioning/training and into just injury.

If it's true that it's all due to low T then standards will have to change and the military will just have to fucking deal with it because T isn't going to be increased by forcing a zoomer to run on a broken ankle.

Just an aside about the CIA and Green Beret contractors:

An overwhelming number of 18 series contractors are security for a CIA operations officer and their assets. If the officer/asset is in danger, one can count on a 18 series for the team skills, firepower and experience. They drive and pull armed security, plus they have their other skillsets as well.

Becoming a FTE for the CIA is like becoming a FTE for any other government agency, 6-12 month wait while the packet processes. Using a PMC gave the CIA an elastic capability to provide operations personnel (SOCOM mostly) and operational support without that waiting, plus it was easier to let them go if the operations had to be terminated for some reason: no operational interest, did what is was supposed to do, internecine politics, etc. There are cases where Panetta/Brennan just did like what was going on and pulled the plug. Having temps solved the problem of elastic employment.

Typically, the medics in these gigs are USAF pararescue. While an 18D is a highly skilled medic, the pararescue are as well, plus the rescue skills: vehicle rescue, water rescue, high angle rescue, aviation rescue...you get it. I think pararescue receives more survival training than 18 series.

There are all kinds of CIA contractors and then some people are just fabricators.

The military didn't lose AFG, that's your government. Largely because we change administrations every 4-8 years and this makes long duration war difficult, which requires centralized leadership, consistent political objectives that Bush the Second basically ignored for the next administrations to figure out. Kinda like Indochina.

there's additional specialized training/psychological breaking-down, and of course all of this can vary greatly depending on which individual(s) is lording over you at any given time and how sadistic they might be
This. Besides. The standard for the screening of the SEALs has always been the same. And killing a healthy 24 year dude from pneumonia is more indicative of GWOT nutjobs torturing the candidates than him being a quitter pussy ass zoomie. Again, read page 2, breadbasket's quotes. They had to drag people to the bell because their legs were broken.
The military didn't lose AFG, that's your government.
I am sorry, but that is just fucking cope. First, the military is an armed branch of the government, so making the separation is wrong. And if the higher echelons of government went to war with bad assumptions, then the military leadership failed in assessing the war or knew it was a bad idea and did what the politicians wanted to get that extra star on the shoulder. The GWOT, with better military leadership, would have turned out differently.

You are also wrong in that the military didn't lose. The strategy of the Taliban of waging a constant insurgency, in difficult terrain, asymmetrically advantageous economically vs the high cost of maintaining U.S. troops there eventually won. Again. As it did with English and Soviets.

"They've got the watches, we've got the time." As the famous saying goes. The grand strategy of the U.S. was fucked from the start, even if tactically and operationally America was always better.

Sorry 4 double posting but I can't find the edit button. Popo Medic spreading misinformation about Luttrell.

Yeah he's getting some pretty interesting comments on the video already. Posting a choice one I found that seems pretty comprehensive to anyone who just stumbles on the video.

@AntiTroll23

8 hours ago (edited)

The SEALs fought to take this mission from the Marines which was never supposed to be done by a 4 man team in the first place. They landed so close to the objective that the entire valley knew precisely when and where they were. Later Luttrell had the audacity to claim it was "them liberal medias" that got his team killed.

They move to a location without comms with their higher HQ. They decide to set up there anyway. They don't bother to take the time to build a good hide site. They are compromised by local civilian noncombatants. The team considers committing a egregious war crime to cover up their own gross incompetence. The correct answer was unequivocally to not murder those civilians, and it should terrify you, as it does me, that Luttrell thought he and his fellow SEALs were so above the law that the only thing keeping them from literally murdering innocent people was that they might get roasted for it on CNN. (Which still doesn't make sense because they could have easily covered it up given the circumstances).

The Taliban know where they are and are moving towards them already. The released civilians may have given them more specific information, or they may not have. Regardless, 7-15 enemy fighters are moving towards the hapless SEAL team. The Taliban pinpoint their location. 7-15 well armed fighters with superior mobility and knowledge of the terrain will (almost) always overwhelm a 4 man reconnaissance team caught in an unfavorable position. I am confident the team did their best to survive. That said, the notion that they were fighting hundreds and killing dozens of enemy is absurd. Luttrell is a liar. His initial report suggests around 30 enemy fighters (with the actual figure estimated much lower). He then proceeds to inflate this number to absurd proportions for his book, and the movie inflates them even further. Also, Marcus Luttrell is later found by the Rangers with, allegedly, all 11 of his magazines completely full. He did not appear to have fired a single shot in the engagement.

QRF is notified. I don't recall exactly what was the fuckup, but the teams didn't do their job of coordinating the mission with their adjacent units well enough. Regardless, the O5 in charge of the SEAL teams decides it's a good idea to hop on the bird and be a part of the QRF.Why do you require AWT (Air Weapon Team) when inserting into a hot LZ? The QRF is shot down when their MH47 attempts to rope them in to an unknown area of the mountain. Again, these deaths were preventable, and I like to think we've learned from this how not to do QRF. Marcus Luttrell is rescued by Mohammed Gulab, who takes him into protection. One could draw a very interesting parallel here. Luttrell regrets the decision (which to be clear, was never his to make) to do the lawful and moral thing when faced with a risk to his team. However he has no issues with Gulab risking the lives of his family and entire village to protect him. Why should Gulab do the right thing when Luttrell believes SEALs don't have to?

Luttrell is rescued after a massive search and rescue pulls troops from the entire region. Altogether 19 are dead. Luttrell later writes a book which tells a very different story than what all other accounts say happened. A movie is released. Mohammad Gulab is invited to visit the US for the screening. Afterwards, he is confused by the movie, and tells a very different account of what happened. This angers Luttrell who cuts ties with the man who saved his life.

Mohammed Gulab returns to Afghanistan. Once the movie is released, it is widely circulated by the Taliban who now learn of Gulab's involvement. Gulab has had numerous attempts on his life, and has lost friends and family to attacks in repercussions. He has tried to immigrate to the US under the same program that protects interpreters. So far (as far as I can find) this has gone nowhere. The story of Operation Red Wing has heroes. LT Mike Murphy, who exposed himself to enemy fire to make the call to save his team. Murphy who, despite pressure to do otherwise, upheld the strictest moral standards of his country and refused to murder civilians to cover his own mistakes, of which there were many. Mohammad Gulab, who risked his life and wellfare to shelter a man in need. But Marcus Luttrell is, at best, a profiteering liar. We should not continue to glorify his place in this disaster of a mission. And we should criticize the gross incompetence of the people involved in planning and executing this ill-fated reconnaissance patrol.

Red Wings is a case study in how massive egos and arrogance get people needlessly killed.

Even worse is instead of it being a learning experience the military has officially gone the route of acting like it was Thermopylae.
You can clearly see why is it necessary to keep an eye on the SEALs community. Not only do they lie, but they lie shamelessly to keep their brand reputation, and everyone who doesn't know better eats it up.

From Matthew Cole's book, he said many SEALs refuse to shake Lutterell hand. I have a hard time finding the video of the event, I saw it on live leak, but that went away, and it clearly showed the reality that they were not 200 or even 50 Taliban. If any of you guys have the sub version archived, I'll link it in the OP. I'm just finding parts of it now.

Glad I found this thread. I don't have a lot of stuff on his service record; but since getting out and starting Black Rifle Coffee Company, Green Beret and CIA asset Ethan Hafer has indicted with fraud crimes related to taking his company public and something to do with cheating the system with stocks. There's also a former employee who's suing the company because he beat Hafer in a marksmanship competition, so Hafer goes fucking psycho, starts harassing the dude, asked to take their clothes off and butt-fuck each other in a meeting, and threatened to shoot him dead in front of his (Hafer's) lawyer. Also Matt Best, other residential psycho laughed at the dude for never partaking in ass sex.

It's late here, and I know the idea is if you're gonna talk, contribute. I'll put stuff together when I'm done with my morning stuff tomorrow.

Surely all the retards and psychos are in the other branches and SOF, and certainly not in my beloved Marine Corps, right?
..right?
I was Air Wing maintenance and supply, and we had one dude who was a budding serial killer that our command wanted to sweep under the rug because, and I quote "He's a good Marine, and better than you." One of the things that really killed my motivation.

Oof, on other news digging around Tony Cowden, the guy I mentioned did a cool psychedelic trip with ibogaine and run for congress in North Carolina, is a serial competition cheater. He apparently edited the USPSA scores to show he's a GM and apparently also cheated in a 200 mile ultramarathon by getting into a car and cutting 40 miles. Shawn Ryan just platforms serial liars, and never confronts them. His war stories are also probably either fake or highly embelished.

Jesus Christ, why cheat in such a way if you are already a decorated veteran. This is just like Chris Kyle adding an extra silver star for wanton embellishment. Also, his NC representative page is cringe, and I'd highly recommend that if vote in NC don't vote for Cowden. He'll say he's helping the state and pocket millions.

Be John Ripley
Three single-handedly saved the lives of thousands of Marines by stopping the advance of 20,000 Vietnamese troops by exposing yourself to enemy fire for 3 hours why carrying 200 lb of explosives on your back why monkey borrowing across the under span of a bridge not have pliers say f*** it and use your teeth to crimp the wires together.
For some reason not win a Congressional Medal of Honor only a Navy cross even though you did something that's legendary in bravery.
Not be a drug addict after your military service serve as instructor in Military Academy.
Testify in front of Congress that women have no place in the Marine Corps because they should be wives and mothers say homosexuals are disgusting and Abomination against God die a good Catholic man not right 700 books about how you're a badass and you single-handedly no scoped over 6,000 Taliban

Mike Vining

Be one of the original members of Delta Force look like your typical 1980s dad live a quiet life in retirement not constantly being a glory hound and occasionally leave reviews on books written by other Navy Seals not write 700 books of how you are a badass and be a quiet professional like every single military operator before the age of social media

be the Marine Corps Raiders actually contribute meaningfully to the victory in the Pacific don't constantly brag about it

Be the Navy Seals be involved in all of America's biggest cluster f**** of wars constantly claim you are a Elite Force but you only job is to go around murdering random people who the American government has deemed leaders of terrorist organizations that they previously gave a bunch of money to complain that America is becoming liberal not do anything about it besides wine endlessly on podcasts and demand that people show you respect.

On top of that be massive egotistical douchebags who commit more war crimes than units 747

Evan Hafer

Who is Evan Hafer; he's a former 20 year Army veteran who reached the rank of Sergeant First Class, a Green Beret, a graduate of University of Idaho (Political Science), CIA Contractor/Asset, Jew, Vet-Bro business owner, and CEO of Black Rifle Coffee Company. While there might be some psycho or serial killer type stuff while he was in the Army, as far as I can tell there hasn't been whispers about him and most of the drama is from his other activities upon leaving the Army. So upon leaving the Army, Hafer decides to do what other Vet-Bros do, he starts a business that appeals to the gun-loving, 2A, right-wing nationalists in the USA; the kind of people who will unironically thank you for your service and buy you a beer just because you put on the uniform. The problem being, the FEC tracks and allows the public to view private donations; and he has donated $500 to Barack Obama and Tulsi Gabbard in the past. He claims the Obama donation was from losing a bet and the Tulsi donation was because she is a fellow vet and was being bullied by other Democrats. The rest of his donations align with most basic right-wing people; to include over $15,000 donations to fellow psychopath and right-wing gun grabber Dan Crenshaw.

FEC Website, click the search button to use
Other employees at BRCC have also donated directly to Democrat slush fund Act Blue; but this is about Hafer and his company, not other employees (unless they're fellow SOC types).

And there have been plenty of other political issues facing Evan Hafer and his company, namely a picture of the Kenosha Kid, Kyle Rittenhouse, wearing a BRCC shirt. You'd think a guy who built his brand on being guns, shooting, and being a bit of a psycho would be thrilled about a kid icing three dudes who were attacking them, without hitting anyone else, while being in the middle of a literal riot. Whether personal or business, he didn't want his company to be associated with that kind of degeneracy; while he and his friends continue to make videos and commercials involving guns, military hardware, and a bit of controlled violence.

But the problems don't stop there; on February 10th, 2022, Black Rifle Coffee Company went public (ticker: BRCC). Pretty amazing for a company that started less than a decade prior. But in May of 2022, 1791 Management Company filed a suit against BRCC citing Market Manipulation and Fraud. I'm not keen on stocks and what-not, but one of the things detailed is how Hafer held off on filing a report with the SEC, thus keeping the number of available stocks low, this is what they call a "squeeze." Evan Hafer being the CEO of BRCC

But perhaps the funniest (if not disturbing) accusation against Evan Hafer while acting as CEO of BRCC is the lawsuit between him and former HR Director, Brandon Roper (Brandon Roper v Black Rifle Coffee). Brandon Roper joined BRCC on July 17th, 2016 and left on March 29th, 2017, failing to even be there for an entire year. While there's plenty to say, I will keep it simple and just copy/paste different lines from the paperwork, and attach the paperwork to this post for anyone to browse at their convenience.

9. On July 17, 2016, Mr. Roper started working at BRCC.

10. On July 30, Mr. Hafer and Mr. Roper competed in a handgun shooting match at Wasatch Wing and Clay range.

11. Mr. Roper had taken 1st place in the competition. Mr. Hafer was very angry that Mr. Roper had beaten him.

12. Mr. Hafer expressed his anger to Mr. Roper and this was when Mr. Hafer began to treat Mr. Roper in an extremely hostile and domineering manner.

13. Mr. Hafer felt like his reputation as an excellent shooter among the military Special Forces community was threatened by Mr. Roper when other military competitors heard the results.

14. Early in August 2016, Mr. Roper was forced to strip down to his underwear and participate in a “marketing video” where his image was digitally altered to look like he was naked. Mr. Roper was not given any opportunity to refuse to participate in this video and he felt like had he refused to participate that he would have lost his job.

15. In the video he is asked to pretend to do sit ups in a room with various other men who are allegedly having a “hotdog” party. The video was meant to poke fun at homosexuals and Mr. Roper participated in the video against his will and as a condition of his employment.

16. The video has been seen by thousands of persons on the internet much to Mr. Roper’s embarrassment and humiliation.

17. On or about August 15, 2016, Evan Hafer called Mr. Roper into his office. In front of Mr. Roper and several other people in his office, Mr. Hafer stripped down all his clothes and stood in front of Mr. Roper completely naked. Mr. Hafer acted as if he expected some sort of response out of Mr. Roper. Instead, Mr. Roper, averted his eyes and tried to turn the conversation back to work.

18. Several days later, Mr. Roper and Mr. Hafer were working alone in a conference room when Mr. Hafer turned to Mr. Roper and said, “Why don’t we close that door and butt fuck the shit out of each other?” Mr. Roper rejected the sexual proposition and the meeting continued in awkward tension.

19. After Mr. Roper had rejected Mr. Hafer’s advances and failed to comment upon Mr. Hafer’s nude body, Mr. Hafer became openly hostile to Mr. Roper.

20. By approximately early September 2016, Mr. Hafer started calling Mr. Roper “Mountain Jew” as a derogatory term because he was one of the few Latter Day Saints in the office. Mr. Hafer started being very mean and hateful toward Mr. Roper in front of other employees.

37. In February 2017, Matt Best, another owner of BRCC, openly teased Mr. Roper because he had never had anal sex with a woman. This took place in the workplace, in front of other employees and it horrified and embarrassed Mr. Roper horribly.

47. On July 18th, 2017, Mr. Hafer told Mr. Roper to meet him at BRCC offices so that they could complete paperwork to make Mr. Roper once again agent of record for the health insurance sales.

48. When Mr. Roper arrived at BRCC, he was met at the door of the office by Mr. Hafer who was openly carrying a gun in an unlocked holster on his hip, with the gun partially dislodged from the holster. Mr. Hafer, kept his hand on the gun. Mr. Higgins, general counsel for BRCC was present and asked Mr. Roper if he was carrying a weapon.

49. Mr. Roper said he was but that he could leave his firearm in his car if they wanted. Mr. Hafer told Mr. Roper that if he moved for his weapon that he would be shot on the spot. At this point, Mr. Higgins told Mr. Roper that they would not honor the contract that Mr. Hafer and Mr. Roper had signed the month before. Mr. Higgins falsely accused Mr. Roper of extortion for raising the sexual harassment and religious discrimination claims against BRCC and threatened to turn him into the insurance division for investigation and other threats.

With a lot of these guys, they go a little nuts when they leave the military. They were celebrities on base, everyone kind of kissed their ass and life away from that is killing them. Some go nuts because the life of adventure isn't there and they can't handle being a normal guy.

Basically take the guy who peaked in High School, now make him a SEAL. Of course these people go full retard and bleat about accomplishments, both real and mostly imagined.

NO WAY FAG.

So if I'm getting it right, Hafer the jew, when he got beaten at a pistol competition, basically became a tsundere for Roper, being extremely hostile while at the same time exposing himself and suggesting butt sex. LMAO

Nope, not particularly. Combat PTSD is another kind of beast that ruins the capability of a given patient to engage with civilian life in a safe and effective manner. The difference is more in severity and the cluster of symptoms exhibited, which I was told but do not have the data for, obviously, was closely tied with brain injuries sustained over the term of the patient's service.
I always liked Brad Colbert's simple take on the whole PTSD thing:

NO WAY FAG.

When I first heard of this lawsuit, I tried to go in with an open mind. That eventually led to me saying "No way" quite a few times, but, well, the lawsuit certainly existed... Sure he may not have done any war crimes, but what the fuck is he doing as CEO.

Evan Hafer

Holy shit, I previous heard about him stripping down nude but that's just unreal.

What? That doesn't make sense as to why hafer would call the LDS guy mountain jew besides the fact he's an insane ass apparently.

What an insane lunatic. Wrath has no fury like a homosexual spurned I guess.

I'm sure he said woman but he really meant man.

I feel bad for buying their coffee once. It was bad I decided never to buy it again based on that.

Uhh... Reading Code Over Country in Kindle, I found something literally awful about the Melgar murder. I'll just quote it.

"As the group kept drinking, the plan took a more severe turn. At first, DeDolph suggested that they hire a prostitute to fondle and sexually touch Melgar while he was unconscious. Then someone mentioned that one of the embassy security guards, a Malian called Big Man, had a sexual fetish. Let’s see if he’ll take part, the group suggested. Even if they only pretended to sexually assault Logan while he was being filmed, their married teammate would be humiliated. At roughly 4:00 a.m., DeDolph, Matthews, Madera-Rodriguez, Maxwell, and Pugh made their way back to the embassy compound. There, an incoherent plan coalesced into something “operational.” Operation
Tossed Salad (slang for the sexual act of anilingus) was a go."

Sick fucks

This thread is exactly the sort of shitshow they've had on /k/ ever since the various mil tripfags left. People will regurgitate the most inane speculation and bullshit from half-remembered threads full of speculation and bullshit.
My only contribution to this right now is to say that Code Over Country is a must-read for this thread, and so is Alpha (about the Gallagher case). I actually followed the Gallagher stuff pretty closely for a while, and thought he was being railroaded, but Alpha really changed my mind. That dude is guilty as fuck.
Also Eric Prince's Civilian Warriors is a good read.
