I once knew someone who did standup. They said they were always pressured to do routines on whatever was "special" about them. So, fat comedians do fat jokes, women comedians talk about the sexes and relationships, black comedians talk about niggers, etc.

The problem is all those comedians can be funny because there are plenty of good relatable jokes you can make about fat people, niggers being niggers, or relationships between the sexes. I can't relate to hearing a joke about missing a T shot or mutilating my body.
