Give me a rundown what was it?
It would cause NIGGER to display on the contribution area (archive.org):

Fedora's immutable spins have been getting no updates for almost two weeks. Nobody at Red Hat seemed to have noticed that their build/release pipeline was broken, and there is currently no ETA for a fix. I am no longer recommending Fedora's immutable spins for use.

Debian had 12.3, Fedora has this and Arch is broken by design.
GNU has fallen. Billions must BSD.

Seems like the conversation picked back up hours after this post, huh.

Unless this doesn't mean anything, I don't know, I don't work on these projects.

Yeah, they finally managed to fix it, upgrades got pushed a couple hours ago. But there were a few security vuln fixes included in that that could have been patched much quicker. It's disturbing that they had apparently no monitoring of their build and release system and had to be notified by users that upgrades weren't happening.

Linux Mint is on the fence about completely switching to Debian?

I think with Ubuntu they do get loads of labor that they would be maintaining themselves if they went Debian and with a user base tailored to beginners and not likely to be resilient to breakage this would be pretty rough on Grandpa who likes clicking .exe attachments in emails and clicks them even more now from the safety of Mint. He's not hurting anyone.
