Nick did a LOCALS stream:
- Beeping robot must be on holiday. He is missed.
- He starts by coping in response to someone in chat saying he 'does not know about women'. He says that you do not have to take his advice. You can wear long shorts past the knees, wear a Hitler youth haircut, and have a bunch of guys tell you you are awesome. You do not have to take his advice, and you can do what you want.
- Someone brought up Kino Casino, and Nick said that people can say whatever they want. Their shtick is provoking for a reaction tey can make money from. He does not watch, but from what he has been sent, Andy is saying things 'out of pocket' about someone that was 'super-duper nice to him when he was acting like a fucking retard'. He has 'never been negative' about Andy at all.
- Nick says that the 'rules' online are weird, and they change constantly. It used to be 'leaning into jokes' when criticised, but now it is 'ignore it', but now it can be interpreted as if you are 'mad', so some people end up responding. In the end, there are no rules, but prepared statements are the worst way to deal with anything. You have to just let it all go.
- People are accusing Nick of 'crimes' and 'defamation by definition', but you cannot go after them. You have to leave them alone. FuddBusters is different because someone used law enforcement to go against him and that is a tort.
- Someone commented that the LOCALS chat is 'unusable' and worse than DISCORD--which they hate. Nick does not want to deal with DISCORD, and he has pondered many ways to get rid of his or give it to someone else. It is only a drain on him. He pays for it, and he has no reason to. He had plans to re-incorporate DISCORD to his SM usage, but he uses so many now that it is too tiring to interact on them all. Why would people want the DISCORD if it is a LOCALS perq? One of the big issues with the DISCORD was that people there were not paying. They did not belong there.
It is called a SM manager, Nick. No one with any minor celebrity interacts like a real person on SM.
- DISCORD has no growth potential. He wants LOCALS to copy some of DISCORD. He wants them to incorporate a voice chat. Wednesday Live Chat was great. People would just chat and supply topics, so he did not have to bring in guests. He cannot do it on DISCORD because it would not work because of the people and problems that are in there. He has a list of subscribers with their e-mails in a list that a bot uses to manages access to DISCORD, and your info is stuck there even after you cancel. People asked if their information could be removed, and Nick said 'no', it will persist as a cancelled sub listing.
LOL! Nick has a list of people's e-mails! I think it would be funny if he went and counted the 'active' vs 'inactive' subs.
- Nick does not 'have the bandwidth' to do a LOCALS pre-show before the 11 PM CST timeslot. He might do an early LOCALS show, and a later Rumble show. He has to talk to see what Rumble is thinking.
- Nick has to leave at 7.20 everyday to drive his children somewhere. He wants to do trial streaming, and he will do Clenney in January. He hopes that when his oldest gets a licence, it might change, but he will still have kids to del with. People get annoyed at this, but they do not understand, and trials are mostly uninteresting.
- Nick responds to the criticism that he just does not want to spend hours streaming (a trial) with the fact that he streams 4-5 hours a day, plus the time spent on research, networking, and scheduling guests. On top of that, he had to deal with his lawsuit. The lawsuit is definitely work because it is related to his job. He only gets paid for a lot of time. He usually averages 60 hours work per week. He used to use SM to relax, but it is now part of work. This is NOT a complaint, he says.
- Nick says that December numbers for a creator do not count because people are busy and advertisers do not pay. It will only be a problem if it continues past December.
- He heard about Emily Baker's app for notifications. People in chat liked the idea, but Nick hates the idea of another app and so would never implement it.
- Nick paid a company to clip his content for him, and there are a lot ready to go. He just has not sat down and set up access so they can post them. He is so busy, sometimes he just hates being in the same room as his work computer, so he has not done it. He also tangents off into horror stories about stolen channels and him being afraid of that happening to him. It would be irrecoverable.
