In most prisons, there’s a certain class of inmates that even rapists, murderers, skinheads, and pedophiles won’t associate with. On the internet, the closest equivalent to that outcast tier exists in the furry fandom. And even among furries, there’s one person who stands out as someone no one wants to be seen near.

Lumin City (real name likely Casey Chen or Ken Chen) has somehow managed to repulse nearly every furry he’s encountered, both online and in person. With just 1,300 YouTube subscribers, Lumin serves as proof that you don’t need to fuck a dog, scam a charity, or brag about grooming kids to be universally hated among furries. If you know Patrick Tomlinson, famous for calling every critic a “stalker child”, you’re halfway there. But if you’re wondering what an actual stalker child looks like? Meet Lumin.

Lumin first caught my attention in 2021 after furries started complaining about his behavior at a con. I considered writing something then but held off because he was a minor at the time. Fast-forward two years: he’s now of age, and his behavior has only gotten worse. Creepier. More public. So, it’s finally time to document it.

For this OP, I’ve focused on incidents backed by logs, screenshots, or archived posts. Much of Lumin’s behavior happens in places with limited visibility (DMs, meetups, IRL drama) so this one took more digging than usual. But what I’ve uncovered still offers a solid pile of 24-karat lolcow potential.

The Basics

Lumin describes himself as a “They/He ace transgender POC,” “fursuiter,” and “video maker” from New Jersey. Public records list his first name as Casey, though he’s also registered for events under Ken, hence the name confusion.

Presentation-wise, Lumin identifies as male and wears one of the most absurd “fursuits” I’ve ever seen: a disposable face mask scribbled on with marker, fingerless gloves with paw prints, a wolf hat, sunglasses with glued-on googly eyes, and sometimes a plastic light-up visor (the same model encouraged by the MtF furry grooming cult Korps). Lumin insists this qualifies as a real fursuit and has forced his way into fursuit-only group photos more than once, mostly because staff didn’t want to argue with him.

His fursona is a green husky, and according to Lumin, this slapdash outfit is the same character. How exactly the googly-eyed mask relates to a green husky is anyone’s guess.
1703049198673.png1703049213057.png1703760147135.png

As of early 2024, Lumin finally acquired a proper fursuit resembling the character, but we’ll get to that later.
1707673682493.png

Lumin’s earliest social media account I could find appears to be his Twitter, which he created in early 2021 when he was still 16. Unfortunately, it seems he deleted or hid most of his existing tweets sometime in 2023 after he started receiving negative attention. However, most of the people replying to his tweets are still up and we have some archives, so we can still get a general idea of what he was up to.

Among other highlights, we have sperging about inflatable toys, spending hundreds on furry pride pins, and getting a shoutout from the big-boob horse for sticking them in a video thumbnail without their consent:

As of this writing, his main platforms are his Youtube community page, Bluesky, and numerous Telegram Messenger chats he's in (some public, some not), but we'll work our way through each during this OP. On each of them, he frequently shares strongly opinionated perspectives on current hot-button furry issues and dramas.

At this point in the OP, you might wonder, "This guy just comes across as a typical self-important furry. What sets him apart?" The short version: he’s managed to rack up a surprisingly large ban list and animosity in a couple of years, which is especially impressive given his younger age. For the long version, keep reading.

Lumin the (formerly) underaged

1703126896516.png

(archive)
As Lumin created his Twitter account when he was 16 or 17, he became a well-known underage nuisance, frequently lying about his age to gain access to 18+ spaces. During this period, he stirred considerable animosity among other furries due to his actions, which drew attention to him and seemingly encouraged him to continue lying as he grew older. Here are some instances of his underage antics that I managed to retrieve from archives:

July 2022: Lumin complained to Barq after being banned for lying about his age on his profile.

April 2022: Furrydelphia’s Twitter account informed Lumin that he was too young to apply for staff. Lumin later confirmed in one of his videos that he turned 18 at some point in 2023, indicating that he was underage when inquiring about volunteering at conventions.
1703049686655.png

June 2022: Someone complained about Lumin for making insanely hot takes, doxing someone, behaving creepily, and attempting to sneak into adult areas during Furrydelphia 2021.
1703049714916.png
(archive)

Someone shared a Telegram conversation from August 2022 with Lumin, where he outright admitted he knew lying about his age was wrong but didn't seem to care. The statement included, "Yeah, I got banned from Barq for lying about my age, but anyway..."
1703751310758.png1703751354999.png
(link)(archive)

Lumin also attempted to host an inflatable fetish panel at Furrydelphia 2022. Initially, his proposal was rejected by the convention due to him being underage. However, he convinced someone else to apply for the panel and allow Lumin to run it instead. It appears that Furrydelphia staff noticed this and ultimately canceled the panel altogether.

Furpocalypse 2022’s BlueFolf stalking

Lumin’s behavior is weird across the board, but one incident in particular stands out—partly because it's so well-documented, and partly because it's just plain absurd. In October 2022 at Furpocalypse, fursuiter Tripp invited BlueFolf to hang out with him in his hotel room. Yes, both of these people have their drama (Tripp appears several times in the Nitro Rooski thread, and BlueFolf has a whole thread of their own) but none of that justifies what happened to them next.

According to Tripp, Lumin somehow figured out what room they were in, knocked on the door, and then barged past Tripp’s roommate the moment it opened. He walked in, pointed his phone at Tripp and Blue, took a photo (or possibly a video), and immediately left without saying a word. Tripp was understandably freaked out. He messaged Lumin on Telegram to tell him off, then blocked him on the spot.
1703118672067.png

BlueFolf also contacted Lumin afterward. While Blue was more polite, these messages do inadvertently confirm Lumin indeed entered the room uninvited (as between both sets of DMs, everyone involved admitted it happened). Tripp claims he reported this incident to Furpoc security shortly after, though it’s unclear if the staff took any action.
1703118678401.png
This incident would end up becoming a recurring theme, so keep it in mind for later. But for now, let’s look at how Lumin behaves when he’s in full control of the narrative. Namely, his YouTube channel.

Lumin’s YouTube “content”

1703049799044.png
Lumin presents himself as a deep-diving analyst of the furry fandom. According to him, he covers “how the fandom works, how it came to exist, gained popularity, and the current news about furry art, fursuits, conventions, and LGBTQ+ involvement.” Essentially, he wants to be seen as a furry version of Internet Historian or Down the Rabbit Hole.

In reality, his videos are thinly veiled rants dressed up as commentary. Despite claiming to focus on history and research, most of his content consists of opinion-heavy tangents padded with out-of-context Wikipedia blurbs and unrelated anecdotes. His uploads rarely crack a thousand views. Each video is overloaded with rapid jump cuts, muffled narration through his “fursuit” facemask (even when he’s not on camera), and the occasional use of random stock footage. Before Lumin's infamous incident in 2024 (which we'll get to, don't worry), he was most active on his YouTube community tab, where he regularly posted long-winded takes on current furry drama, and it’s where most of his worst takes would play out.

Next up: the controversies. There are a lot, but we’ll focus on the loudest four.

Notable YouTube Controversies

Most of Lumin’s videos are riddled with inaccuracies and wild speculation. He routinely deletes comments that correct or criticize him, so if you see something worth saving, screenshot it fast. There are too many videos to dissect them all, but four stand out for being especially unhinged or widely mocked. Let’s start with his failed hit piece on a much bigger creator.

BetaEtaDelota

One of Lumin’s most notorious uploads is titled “BetaEtaDelota Is Killing Furry YouTube”, a melodramatic takedown that reads more like a tantrum. The video scolds viewers for liking Beta’s content and implies that not hating Beta makes you part of the problem.

(original video)
1703050463942.png
To be clear, Beta already has a Kiwi thread and isn’t above critique. But Lumin’s reasoning is a mess:
  • Beta’s videos are longer now and include some non-furry content like gaming. Lumin calls this “lazy” due to less editing.
  • Lumin nitpicks old clickbait thumbnails, even though Beta changed them long before Lumin made this video.
  • He accuses Beta of “harassment” for blocking him on Twitter after Lumin kept spamming his Twitter replies with personal attacks and unrelated GIFs.
  • Lumin claims Beta’s followers only criticized him because Beta told them to, without any evidence that Beta ever acknowledged his existence.

Unsurprisingly, the video’s comments were flooded with pushback, even from Lumin’s followers. Other furry YouTubers also called him out, most notably LagoVirt, who we’ll circle back to later.
1703155885790.png1703155891929.png1703155898180.png

When challenged, Lumin defended himself with a bizarre take: “It’s fine for me to accuse others without evidence because I’m less popular than they are.” (original) (archive)

Ruben Sim’s Anti-furry Bill

If you don’t know Ruben Sim, he’s a YouTuber best known for clowning on Roblox’s moderation failures. He’s also a semi-regular poster on Kiwi Farms and has a verified account here. In early 2023, Ruben pulled a prank: he tweeted that he’d convinced the state of Arizona to pass an anti-furry bill, urging people to call a number to support or protest it. The phone number itself led to a voicemail he owned.
1703052012588.png1703052018441.png
After a couple of weeks of baiting people, he posted a video of some of the angry voicemails he received. KF even featured it on the front page, it’s worth a watch if you've never seen it.

Enter Lumin, who missed the joke completely. Within ten seconds of his response video, Lumin declares Ruben a “far-right Nazi extremist promoting mass violence.” He then praises Ruben for exposing predators on Roblox, while also bashing him over his legal issues with the platform, clearly reading from someone else’s script. Lumin spends the rest of the video breathlessly reading every furry-related tweet Ruben has ever made, taking all of it at face value and falling for incredibly obvious bait like it’s 2017 on Tumblr.

(original video)
1703051974086.png

The comments ratio speaks for itself: over 50 comments pushing back, maybe five supporting him.
1703052285168.png1703052295470.png1703052306963.png1703052312055.png1703052322353.png

Ruben never acknowledged Lumin's video, but later, in a Roblox Tier List video, he made a "furry" tier and included a picture of Lumin alongside other known furry degenerates like BlueFolf and Hypnotist Sappho in a joke iceberg graphic.

Odin Wolf’s “Prank YouTuber” incident

(Odin Wolf’s KF thread)
This incident is already detailed in Odin Wolf’s Kiwi Farm thread, but here’s the short version:

In May 2023, Odin’s trailer full of merchandise he was selling at a convention was stolen from the hotel's parking lot. While standing outside trying to deal with it, another YouTuber named Bodittle (completely unaware of the situation) walked up and asked Odin to be in a prank video. Odin, clearly upset, told him to leave.

A few days later, Bodittle uploaded a con video featuring random interactions. Odin wasn't even in any of the footage, but he still made a vlog crying about the trailer theft, claimed Bodittle was involved, and urging followers to mass-report his channel.

Then came Lumin’s response video: “Anti-LGBTQ+ Prankster Harasses OdinWolf.” Despite Bodittle’s video having no LGBTQ+ content, Lumin claimed his mere presence was somehow harmful to trans people. He padded the rest of the video by reading Wikipedia stats about hate crimes and rambling about a completely unrelated fistfight that happened at a furry event across the country.

(original video)

This was one of the few times a Lumin video got more likes than dislikes, mostly because a lot of his viewers were already Odin fans.

Lumin’s white-knighting for Odin might not be just moral support, as they both share a niche interest in inflatable fetish content. Screenshots from a Telegram chat (posted later in this OP) suggest they regularly interacted there. Lumin even (allegedly) cameoed in one of Odin’s now-deleted fetish-positive videos. Later, Lumin released another video defending Odin after his YouTube ban, insisting Odin didn’t deserve to be deplatformed for uploading sexually charged content aimed at a mostly underage audience. I won’t dissect the whole thing here because it’s covered later in the thread. But it’s peak Lumin: loud, misinformed, and defending someone because they didn’t immediately block him.

Lagovirt’s Puppet Joke and ”””plagiarism””” Incident

This one has two parts, both driven by Lumin having a grudge against YouTuber LagoVirt for criticizing his previous content.

Part One: The Puppet Meltdown

In July 2023, Lago tweeted a joke about a dancing puppet that had gotten attention at Anthrocon, stating that, given how drama-prone furries are, someone was eventually going to try to cancel the puppet. Days later, the puppet’s handler, HearthFox, came under fire for defending feral porn, saying it wasn't immoral because "they're just drawings". Rather than address that, Hearth bizarrely redirected the backlash toward Lago’s puppet joke from several days prior.

This set off a harassment spiral, with Hearth’s followers demanding that Lago denounce his entire online presence over the joke.

The incident, though overly long and autistic, is otherwise unrelated to Lumin. If you’d like to see a longer summary, I’ll put it in the spoiler below.
If you’re not familiar with the dancing puppet, here’s a quick montage I took off YouTube set to some drum and bass:

original video

LagoVirt’s offending joke:
1703116119889.png

The conversation Hearth had three days later, which landed them in hot water for defending feral porn:
1703116199615.png1703116218421.png1703116234753.png

Lagovirt’s reaction and part of the slap-fight between Lago and Hearth:
1703116260620.png1703116303988.png1703116309721.png1703116317386.png1703116325736.png1703116335765.png

Lumin decided to insert himself into this drama, making a video only blaming LagoVirt for the drama. He claimed the puppet was a tribute to Hearth’s deceased friend and said that Lago’s joke was disrespectful to the dead. Yes, seriously.

(original video)

Commenters immediately pointed out the video’s factual errors. Among others, the most glaring one was Lumin’s claim that Lago was using his larger follower count to harass Hearth, which is a blatant lie as Hearth had roughly 30,000 Twitter followers at the time, compared to Lago’s ~6,000. Lumin still insisted Lago was “punching down” because... reasons. Instead of correcting himself, Lumin just deleted dissenting comments and moved on.
1703118067701.png

Part Two: The “Plagiarism” Reach

A few days later, Lumin dropped another video: “Lagovirt Plagiarizes Videos.” His evidence? In a video about Dragoneer, Lago read a Kiwi Farms post aloud while also displaying it on-screen, clearly attributing the source. That’s it. That’s the whole claim.

(original video)

Lumin ignored the visible citation and spun it as intellectual theft. Ironically, for a guy who hates this forum, Lumin uses Kiwi Farms posts himself. He once posted a screenshot from CrusaderCat’s thread while whining about seeing him at a convention. So much for moral consistency.
1703118338997.png
(archive)

Later, NovelyJpg, another furry YouTuber, made a brief video where he called out Lumin for lying about Lago and Hearth's follower counts and omitting key context. Lumin responded with a rambling email full of deflection and off-topic nonsense, which Novely then posted publicly.
Email Exchange 1.pngEmail Exchange 2 (1_2).pngEmail Exchange 2 (2_2).pngEmail Exchange 3.pngEmail Exchange 4.png

By February 2024, the saga came full circle when LagoVirt released a full video dedicated to Lumin and his behavior, a long-overdue receipt dump.

Furpocalypse 2023 Callout

Remember the 2022 incident where Lumin barged into a hotel room to snap pics of Tripp and BlueFolf? Fast forward a year: Furpoc 2023 is gearing up, and somehow, Lumin not only plans to attend again but also landed a volunteer position. One that might involve checking attendee IDs. Yes, a guy with a known history of stalker behavior was being put in charge of handling people's real names and badges.

Tripp, understandably concerned, tweeted a callout/public warning a few days before the con, reminding everyone about Lumin’s prior stunt and encouraging them to stay away from him.
1703118717033.png1703118724328.png
(archive)

The callout took off. Dozens of people chimed in with their own stories: “I’ve dealt with this guy too.” “He’s been creepy for years.”
1703118748786.png1703118756622.png1703118770303.png1703118777862.png1703118794214.png1703118827706.png1703118839710.png

Lumin’s response? He fled to an unknown Discord's vent channel and whined, “I’m being canceled on Xitter.”
1703118917787.png1703118933097.png
(archive)

Among the stories that resurfaced was one especially weird gem, split across two furry meets. It's a bit long, so I'm gonna put it under a spoiler:
1703118951532.png1703118988580.png1703119150414.png
1703119218621.png1703121095288.png1703121113529.png1703121129969.png1703121151237.png1703121170881.png
(link)
TLDR:
  • At a furmeet held at Dave & Buster’s, Lumin walked up to a stranger, stuck his hands in their drink unprompted to grab the fruit, then drank it himself after they left in disgust.
  • At another furmeet, he was banned after repeated complaints about yelling, ignoring rules, trying to access off-limit areas, and just being obnoxious.
  • When confronted, Lumin claimed the backlash was “ableist,” accused attendees of calling him a sexual predator, and accused the host of doxing him because they asked for his address to return a charger he forgot.

Bonus: he was also kicked from a fetish Telegram chat for constantly whining about not being able to afford a fursuit. Even Odin Wolf made a cameo in that one.

Lumin’s “Smoking Gun” Response

After the Furpoc 2023 callout gained traction, Lumin took to his YouTube community page and announced he’d respond.
1703121497275.png
(link)(archive)

What followed was... a lot of deflection. He admits he walked into Tripp’s hotel room and pointed his phone at Tripp and BlueFolf, but insists he didn’t actually take a photo, he just aimed the phone and “backed out” at the last second. He says he only knew the room number because he was coincidentally staying next door and saw Tripp come and go at some point.

He then tries to shift the blame:
  • Says Tripp wouldn’t let him apologize because he was blocked too quickly.
  • Argues that since Tripp can’t prove whether it was a photo or a video, it shouldn’t matter.
  • Claims Tripp “threatened” to press charges but never followed through because Lumin was a minor at the time, so he “couldn’t be charged" anyway.
  • Says the whole callout is just a smear campaign timed to get him banned from Furpoc.

He then pivots into a paragraph about being neurodivergent, how it’s different from autism, and somehow uses the entire second half of his response to complain about cancel culture and Elon Musk buying Twitter. Most notably, he only addresses the Furpoc 2022 incident, completely ignoring every other complaint people raised.
1703121518954.png1703121532679.png1703121543496.png
(link)(archive)

As a cherry on top, he included a link to a “MEGA folder of evidence.” Inside? Exported chat logs from Telegram, where Lumin exports his DMs with Tripp and BlueFolf in an attempt to look innocent.
1703121578814.png

The contents of these messages?
  • The Tripp DMs show Lumin spamming memes, getting told off, and getting blocked.
  • The BlueFolf DMs show Lumin spamming links to his videos, presumably begging for clout. Blue mostly ignores him.
  • A Twitter DM consisting of a wall of text Lumin had a friend copy/paste to Tripp, only for Tripp to block said friend.
That’s it. That’s the “smoking gun.” It mostly confirms everything people were already saying: Lumin was annoying, boundary-pushing, and got told to leave people alone. I’ll include a copy of Lumin’s “evidence.zip” at the end of this post if you’d like to read it more closely.

Lumin’s New Fursuit

Around early 2023 (months before the Furpoc drama exploded) Lumin was in the process of commissioning a proper fursuit, which, unlike the facemask/wolf hat combo, actually resembled his character. The maker later stated they had no idea about his reputation; had they known, they wouldn’t have accepted the commission. But since the suit was nearly finished and already paid for, they finished it, shipped it, and blocked Lumin after he confirmed he received the suit.

Due to Lumin later attempting to dox his suitmaker, I’ve chosen to censor their name from these screenshots. It remains uncensored in the archives.
1703121608935.png
(archive)

Lumin originally celebrated the suit in a long, excited post, name-dropping the maker multiple times. But once the Furpoc fallout hit, he flipped the script, blaming Tripp for “ruining” the debut and accusing the suitmaker of banning him from a private group chat out of spite. Then came the real kicker: Lumin accidentally admitted that while working Furpoc registration, he encountered Tripp in person and tried to forcibly grab his badge or lanyard. Tripp reported him again.

Despite all this, no one publicly harassed the maker. Even the person who revealed the suit’s origins emphasized not to go after them.
1703121744610.png
(archive)

Tripp point-blank told Lumin to stop playing the victim and fuck off already, highlighting the glaring fact that despite numerous callouts at this point, Lumin had made no effort to address any of them except for the Furpoc incident. Tripp also posted an email response he received from a staff member at Anthro New England, revealing that they had been investigating Lumin long before this callout, and hoping that ANE would ban Lumin.

Of course, Lumin didn’t take the hint. He responded by posting on his YouTube community page that he called the internet police in response to people criticizing him. No, seriously. :story:
1703121834246.png
(archive)

Lumin's Mass Ban From Furry (Early 2024)

By January 2024, Lumin had received his new fursuit and was trying to relaunch himself. He replaced his wolf hat and facemask combo with the actual suit head in newer videos, though not before uploading a bizarre rant accusing his fursuit maker of “using” him for clout. Never mind that he initiated the commission and not the maker. Never mind Lumin's whopping 1,300 subscriber count. To prove his case, he posted their DMs, which backfired and made the maker look reasonable and himself unhinged. The maker said they’d finish the suit and ship it to him, but didn’t want to be involved with him after that. Lumin kept pushing to be let back into their group chat. Worse, he "accidentally" doxed the maker in the process.

Then came the fursuit debut at a furmeet in a small board game shop. Lumin was explicitly told beforehand not to bring his suit due to limited space. He did it anyway. According to someone who attended, Lumin loudly interrupted conversations, knocked into people with his tail, and shoved his way into a group selfie, then reposted it to his socials after explicitly being refused permission from the others in the photo.
1707673104338.png
(I've elected to censor the photo due to Lumin publicly posting this against everyone else's consent)

But the big meltdown happened in the second half of January in Boston, at Anthro New England. Despite multiple warnings from concerned attendees, ANE staff let Lumin attend. Day one: Lumin posts a creep shot on his YouTube community tab, complaining someone was filming without press badges. The person in the photo? Turkey Tom, a YouTuber who had gotten permission from ANE to film for a video.
1707674777492.png1707674786815.png
(link)(archive)

Lumin’s hypocrisy here is golden: he has a long history of stalking and filming others without consent, but throws a fit when it happens near him. Later, when Tom left the hotel, Lumin followed him outside, screamed at him to stop filming (while filming him), and shouted for security. Tom just laughed and walked away. Fortunately, Tom recorded the entire incident and included it in the video he was recording at the time.

(full original video)

But the real implosion came the next day. Lumin realized Tripp was also at ANE and decided this was the perfect time for a grand “confrontation.”
1707698252817.png
Lumin participated in ANE 2024's fursuit parade, roughly an hour before he was banned from the convention (pic source)

According to a vlog Tripp made after the convention, he was casually chatting with a friend after the parade, at which point Lumin approached Tripp, slapped an envelope in his hands, and sprinted away. The contents of the envelope? A fake cease-and-desist notice, poorly plagiarized from a free template website. Below is a photo of the letter Lumin handed to Tripp:

NOTICE TO CEASE AND DESIST

From
Lumin Clty

Date January 19th, 2024

Re: Defamation of Character - For Libel and/or Slander

Dear Tripp,

Lumin City is a respected professional in the community and has spent their life building a positive reputation. Nevertheless, we have been informed that you have been maliciously spreading inaccurate and unfounded information that is damaging to their personal and professional character.

Under the laws in the State of Pennsylvania, it is unlawful for an individual to make deliberate statements that intend to harm a person's reputation without factual evidence or based on hearsay.

The defamatory statements include, but are not limited to, the following: Stalking and taking a photo with BlueFolf cuddling a bed at Furpocalypse 2022.

If you do not cease all related statements a defamation of character lawsuit will be commenced against you.

In addition, this shall serve as a pre-suit letter demanding that you provide us written assurance within 3 days that you will cease and desist from making further factually untrue statements.

If you do not comply with this cease and desist letter within the aforementioned time period then a lawsuit may be filed in the proper jurisdiction seeking monetary damages as well as pursuing all available legal remedies for your defamation.

Sincerely,
Lumin City
In case it wasn't obvious, this is not a legal document. Among other reasons:
  • It’s not notarized by a lawyer
  • No cited laws Tripp allegedly violated are mentioned
  • The first instance of his name is misspelled “LUMIN CLTY”
  • Claims that Tripp’s actions violate Pennsylvania laws (???) despite Lumin living in New Jersey, the Furpoc stalking incident happening in Connecticut, and Lumin “serving” Tripp in Massachusetts
  • Demands a reply in three days, but with no contact info

Tripp responded by showing the letter to Con Ops, who deemed it harassment and banned Lumin from the convention and hotel on the spot. As Tripp summarized it in his vlog:
This situation is just bizarre. I've never been involved in a situation where someone hands me a fake cease and desist letter and claim it as a legit document [...] The fact they handed this to me and thought I would take this seriously is actually shocking. Anyway, enjoy your ban from every single con Lumin, and I hope I never see your face ever again.

According to Lumin's alleged roommate at the convention, Lumin spent the rest of the weekend sulking in their hotel room, ate all their food and snacks, texted him nonstop every time they left the room, and (reportedly) shit himself in rage at one point.

Once the story got out, it spread like wildfire. In the weeks that followed, dozens of conventions, furmeets, and furry chats banned Lumin all at once. Many had already been wary, but this was the final straw. Even Null brought up the fake letter on Mad at the Internet and gave it a 0/10.

Lumin disappeared from the public for a few weeks, then tried to quietly return with a couple of weird posts and an odd tribute to a recently deceased furry. But the timing could not have been any worse: Within about 24 hours, Turkey Tom released the video he recorded at ANE, and Lagovirt followed up with a video devoted solely to Lumin. Tom’s video was flooded with comments recognizing and mocking Lumin, so Tom made a second video just to focus on Lumin (referencing most of this OP’s content. Props to Tom for at least having the decency to screenshot me in the video.)

For the next 12 months, Lumin wouldn't post very publicly. He was still very active on Telegram (where it was much harder to track his activity) but has mostly avoided public appearances or uploads. A common theory among furries was that Lumin's seemingly asleep-at-the-wheel parents finally noticed what was going on and forced him offline for his safety. But to most furries, the real surprise wasn’t that he vanished, it was that he had parents at all.

Lumin's Sabbatical and Return (mid-2024-present)

Lumin, April 2025. Yes, he seriously showed up to a political protest in his fursuit.

After being laughed out of most public furry spaces, Lumin more or less vanished from most in-person events and social media for a year, or at least on the surface. Behind the scenes, he pivoted to Telegram, where not only was his behavior harder to track, but he began spamming furry group chats at a pace that bordered on pathological. We’re talking hundreds of messages per day, per group, often just generic platitudes (“yeah I agree”), sticker spam, or low-effort replies. Based on the public chats alone, it’s likely Lumin was churning out well over 3,000 short-form posts a day. Some users even assumed he was a spambot. This spam spree spread across more than 30 furry convention/event chats, many of which he wasn’t even attending, and some that had already banned him. Naturally, people started asking: Why the hell is this guy still allowed in here?

Lumin also made a brief appearance on WikiFur. After writing an overly self-congratulatory article about himself, he began vandalizing pages about controversial furries he disliked by inserting lengthy rants filled with unsubstantiated claims. When his edits were reverted and wikifur admins asked him to knock it off, he responded rudely and was eventually temp-banned. The ban appears to have expired since then, though Lumin has not attempted to return (as of this writing).

He did attend Furpocalypse 2024, the same con where his original BlueFolf/Tripp stalking incident happened two years prior. This time, there weren't any incidents of note aside from a video of him doing awful karaoke. However, he annoyed the Telegram chat mods with his spamming to the point that they banned him a couple of months after the con. Lumin reacted with a rant that was eerily similar to the logic that incels use, stating they were morally obligated to humor him because he gave them his time.

Elsewhere, Lumin inserted himself into a Telegram group that tracks down scam accounts posing as furries. Things went fine until someone in the group committed the “terrible crime" of using a picture of AI art as a profile picture. Lumin blew up, accusing them of being “part of the problem,” and got banned. He tried guilt-tripping the admin, claiming the ban would “empower scammers,” then accused the group of ableism and... stealing his group chat layout for some reason. How do we know this happened? Because Lumin would publicly post the chat logs himself, thinking that chats of him yelling at the mods would somehow make him look good.

He responded by creating his own scam-tracking group (with 20 members, give or take) and obsessively began filing dozens of scam/spam reports a day. Eventually, he stopped targeting actual scammers and just started reporting everyone he didn’t like. This went on for a few weeks until Telegram’s support team finally noticed Lumin's flood of reports about a spammer, assumed Lumin himself was the aforementioned spammer, and temporarily restricted his account. Lumin then spiraled, flooding his chat with rants about favoritism and censorship.

He also reconnected with politically charged spaces, including an art group run by HearthFox (yes, the same dancing puppet handler from the Anthrocon drama that Lumin previously white-knighted). Now fully aligned, Lumin even commissioned Hearth to draw his fursona wearing an Antifa bandana. At this point, most of Lumin’s remaining allies seemed to be Antifa extremists who coddled him rather than holding him accountable for his years of shitty behavior.

By April 2024, more than a year after stepping back from public platforms, Lumin resurfaced on Bluesky, now regularly posting about Antifa, fascism, and various political topics. Given the platform’s increasingly left-leaning user base, his rhetoric might have seemed like a natural fit. But despite posting frequently (often dozens of times a day), his presence failed to gain traction. Most users saw his unhinged behavior and either ignored him or quietly blocked him.

PROTIP: Lumin has his Bluesky privacy set so that his posts aren't visible unless you're logged in. If you plan to archive his posts, copy the post URL into Skyview, then archive the Skyview page.

Notably, many of his posts only received a single like, which happens to be his own. Lumin appears to have a consistent habit of "liking" his own posts, often being the only visible engagement on any of his replies.

Lumin's behavior on Bluesky is difficult to summarize (but very easy to understand once you see it in motion), so I took the liberty of writing up the following guide:

1748734068211.webp

Want to emulate Lumin’s Bluesky persona? It’s easy! Just follow these simple steps. What you’ll need:
  • A complete lack of context awareness.
  • The uncanny ability to interpret everything (memes, metaphors, sarcasm) as literal threats.
  • Equal parts unwarranted self-importance and strategic memory loss.
  • A firm belief that rules only apply to people you don’t like.

Step 1: The Hunt
  • Set aside your day. You’ll need hours of uninterrupted screen time.
  • Open 200+ Bluesky tabs. All of them should be random furries. Try to focus on random nobodies or somewhat popular influencers who won’t immediately notice you ranting in their replies.
  • It’s been five minutes. Have you found a vaguely conservative opinion?
    • If yes, move on to Step 2.
    • If no, do one of the following and restart Step 1 when you're finished:
      • Repost some lukewarm LGBTQ affirmation or anti-Trump memes for easy engagement points.
      • Lower the standard for what counts as a conservative opinion.
      • Rant that AI tech bros and/or right-wing furries are plotting to destroy the fandom and murder minorities in their sleep.

Step 2: The Capture
  • Quote one post, and only one. Context is irrelevant; it just muddies the narrative.
  • Use the following structure: "[Target] believes [comically exaggerated thing you just invented]." Bonus points for comparing them to fascists, ChatGPT, or Elon Musk.
  • Do not fact-check anything. Instead, link to five unrelated articles, link to an archive of a random tweet they made 3+ years ago, and call it research.
  • Like every single one of your own replies to pretend that anyone other than you cares about whatever point you're trying to make.
  • Continue replying to yourself in the thread until the original poster finally notices your ranting and blocks you.

Step 3: The Victory Lap
  • When the target finally blocks you, immediately post: “[Name] clearly blocked me because they’re a Nazi.”

Miscellaneous stories

Most of Lumin’s more troubling behavior has been reported in private settings: group chats, in-person meets, or conversations not easily archived online. For this reason, this write-up focuses primarily on incidents backed by evidence: logs, screenshots, and public records.

That said, there are many smaller accounts shared by individuals that haven’t been independently verified. While they should be treated with skepticism, they’ve been included for completeness—and in some cases, because they’re notably consistent or illustrative.

According to random furries:
  • Reportedly banned from most established furry Telegram chats in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.
  • Allegedly invited to a fur’s home, then began harassing the host’s parents within minutes, resulting in being asked to leave shortly after arrival.
  • Banned from several Delaware-based fur meets and New Year’s Furry Ball after accusing a trans staffer of being transphobic. Despite the ban, Lumin booked a room at the adjacent hotel and was warned that entering the event venue would result in a security escort. He reportedly spent New Year's Eve outside.
  • Banned from another meet after yelling at attendees responding to a medical emergency. Witnesses claim he demanded attention during the incident, dismissing the person having a seizure.
  • Permanently banned from a shopping mall hosting a furmeet after being caught eating discarded food from a trash can in the food court. When questioned, Lumin stated he didn’t want to pay for food or ask anyone to buy him something.

Closing Thoughts

Lumin is the perfect case study of what happens when a community values unconditional acceptance more than accountability. In spaces where even mild criticism is seen as extreme hostility, boundary-pushers rarely face consequences until they become an extreme liability and force the issue. This certainly isn’t unique to the furry or LGBTQ+ scenes, but in the last few years, both have grown increasingly resistant to pushback, no matter how justified.

Lumin rarely engages meaningfully with criticism. While he’s very quick to criticize others (often in harsh or exaggerated reactions), he consistently avoids accountability when the tables are turned. When confronted with arguments he can't refute or situations he can't control, his default response is to deflect. This usually takes the form of deleting posts, blocking users, or outright pretending that the incident or conversation never happened. If he's blocked in return (usually due to his own aggressively rude or erratic behavior), he immediately shifts into a narrative of victimhood. Any attempt to question that framing (no matter how justified) is treated as a personal attack. In his world, disagreement is hostility, and accountability is persecution.

A good example of this deflecting hypocrisy can best be demonstrated by these posts Lumin made in April 2025. Lumin first posted a Bluesky rant declaring all AI use unethical. Hours later, he then bragged about using AI to summarize someone else’s overly long post. Both statements were public, made on the same account, and within seven hours of each other. But the message is clear: When you're Lumin, it’s only wrong when other people do it.
While this may seem like typical online hypocrisy, it reflects a broader pattern and more concerning implications: disagreement is treated as discrimination, and disagreeing views are immediately met with demands to ban or blacklist the person who mentioned it. Surrounded by peers who reinforce his perspective without challenge, Lumin currently exists in a space where accountability has no foothold. He had plenty of opportunities to step back, acknowledge the harm he caused, and repair trust with the communities and people he wanted recognition from. Instead, he chose to deflect, escalate, and alienate nearly everyone around him.

Also, this isn’t related to anything, but I feel like this fetish video Lumin made deserves to be linked somewhere in the OP, so I’m adding it here.

Friendly reminder to lurkers: Don’t contact cows like Lumin off-site. It’s counter-productive, places you under the same level of scrutiny, and if you do it anyways and get caught, we will dig up your personal information and make fun of you (and possibly give you a thread of your own if you fucked up badly enough.)

So the biggest takeaway I can get from this is that he's not a groomer, he's not a troon (or at least one that actively tries), he hasn't fucked animals, but he's just such an insufferable faggot to be around that other furries (even the more degenerate ones) feel the need to constantly tell him to fuck off and stop being annoying, is that right?

So a cis dude. Got it.
I'm gonna be real, I don't know or care how his identity even works, but some of this guy's social media profiles prominently display that transgender flag emoji. There's some sort of identity there, I just don't know what.

Pretty much. I've seen countless threads where the subject is just such an insufferable person but it often ties into something else that tends to overshadow their behavior.

Lumin reminds me a bit of some of the older articles on Encyclopedia Dramatica that would make fun of shitty Deviantart users who were completely incapable of shutting the fuck up and would only draw more attention to themselves. No excessive politics or lgbtq sperging, and no need to read several pages of previous sagas to follow what's going on now. Just pure unfiltered autism. To me, it's a nice change of pace compared to some of the other cows on this site.

He just seems like every other Furry I'm really not seeing the funny.

The funny is in the details. Even by degenerate furry standards this guy behaves like a sociopath. There aren't really any pics or recordings of shit he's done, only archived receipts from the numerous people he's interacted with about what a fucking loon he is. Getting blacklisted at events and attempting to trespass. Breaking into someone's room to take pics of them and never apologizing or explaining yourself. Writing out massive corporate level wall of text PR statements to defend against people calling you unbearable and socially retarded (those are really funny imo). Throwing tantrums and berating people who own fursuits because you really want one but you're poor and too stupid to make the money. Mimicking autistic meltdowns just to get attention. Visiting someone at their parents' house and getting thrown out 10 minutes later because you're a cunt.

Just think about it, if you get banned from 109 different furry conventions and none of it is because you're a pedo or a sex pest, what the hell are you?

I enjoyed this, good OP. Wish there were more direct caps of the shit he did but the future looks promising, since he's only becoming more unhinged while other furfags are becoming more wary of him.

For an 18 year old to be this socially dysfunctional, I'm assuming he has serious development issues or something - you can kind of hear it when he's talking through his stupid mask.

Also if a person like this buys into the LGBTQWTF spiel enough to say they're trans, just treat them like they are. That's really the only qualification at this point.

This thread isn't even visible to outsiders yet and Lumin's already written out more PR walls of text over this stalking/fursuit drama. (Side note: @Trombonista @0 2, do either of you have any suggestions for moving the thread into Animal Control? With the rate this situation is starting to develop, I feel like the sooner we can make it publicly viewable, the better.)

Anyways, Lumin got the fursuit and immediately started bitching about how the fursuit maker washed their hands of the situation, saying they were giving him the finished suit he paid for but wanted nothing further to do with them, explicitly refusing to do any repairs on the suit if he damages it (the shitty cropping on the email is Lumin's doing, not mine).

If you're wondering what kind of exceptional people would comment on this:
1703659510943.png
That last comment kills me, he genuinely believes he has enough of a following to make any impact on the suitmaker's business. :story:

As for that evidence link, it appears to be a telegram export of the conversations he had with the fursuit maker. Unlike the ones in the OP, however, it looks like he tampered with these logs, removing large chunks of the chat log and fucking up the formatting that telegram log exports normally have. In other words, it's difficult to prove any of this is true. I did a quick read of the log and it mostly appears to be fairly normal interactions between the two of them with discussions about payment and design choices. I'll look at it more closely later, but I'll attach a copy of the zip in case anyone wants to take a stab at it.

He then posted a second update claiming there's a police investigation happening (over what?) and he's making a big furry comeback for 2024. I have no idea how he plans to accomplish that, given his numerous bans at this point. Other members of the furry community are becoming increasingly aware of him, but I guess only time will tell how things unfold.

EDIT: There was an Outlook file in the zip that I was able to view, here's a screenshot of the email exchange (reads bottom to top):
1703661460114.png
Takeaways from the email:
-Lumin clearly edited this email so there's no guarantee this is even authentic
-Complains to the suitmaker he was kicked from their fursuit telegram chat without warning. Maker admits they didn't warn him at first, but confirmed multiple people were uncomfortable with him being in there.
-Lumin claims he was somehow swatted from being called out by Tripp. No evidence of this happening beyond "trust me".
-Accuses the suitmaker of running a smear campaign for retweeting a single tweet about the callout. Maker confirms they only retweeted one post and only did it for context.
-Lumin demands they upload a promised six-month warranty period despite the maker wanting to cease contact. Maker says no.

The part about Lumin putting his hand in someone's drink to grab the fruit is the funniest part of this thread for me. Assuming this is in a bar, this retard decides that in order to get a fruit, he should grab one from someone's drink, which is disgusting as well as the person who bought the drink likely thinking that Lumin roofied the drink which would fall under intent to rape the drinker likely, instead of just asking the bartender for a fruit.
He then posted a second update claiming there's a police investigation happening (over what?)
I'm gonna assume this is related to the stuff mentioned about Tripp late into the OP of the thread since Lumin mentions reporting Tripp to the Cyber Police.
