In most prisons, there’s almost always at least one group of inmates so disliked that even the rapists, murderers, skinheads, and pedophiles want nothing to do with them. On the internet, the closest equivalent to that outcast tier exists in the furry fandom. And even among furries, there’s one person who stands out as someone no one wants to be seen near.

Lumin City (real name either Casey Chen or Ken Chen) has somehow managed to repulse nearly every furry he’s encountered. With just 1,300 YouTube subscribers, Lumin serves as proof that you don’t need to fuck a dog, scam a charity out of thousands, or publicly brag about grooming kids over the internet to be universally hated among furries. The best way I would describe him to newcomers is if the "stalker child" that Patrick Tomlinson mentions thirty times a day were a real person (and also a furry).

Within the furry community, Lumin has developed a reputation for increasingly erratic and unhinged stalking behavior (both online and in person), along with a refusal to own up to his actions. As a result, he’s been preemptively banned from almost every furry event and convention in the eastern United States. In addition to stalking, his antics have included handing out fake legal documents he found online to critics and posting a video bragging about doxing a 12-year-old girl, whose only “offense” was walking past him on the street while he shouted about Nazis to nobody in particular.

For this OP, I’ve focused on incidents backed by logs, screenshots, or archived posts. Much of Lumin’s behavior happens in places with limited online visibility (DMs, meetups, IRL drama), so this one took more digging than usual. But what I’ve uncovered still offers a solid pile of 24-karat lolcow potential.

The Basics

Lumin describes himself as a “They/He ace transgender POC,” “fursuiter,” and “video maker” from New Jersey. Public records list his first name as Casey, though he’s also registered for events under Ken, hence the name confusion.
1770584038591.png
Appearance-wise, Lumin presents as male and wears one of the most absurd “fursuits” I’ve ever seen: a disposable face mask scribbled on with marker, fingerless gloves with paw prints, a wolf hat, sunglasses with glued-on googly eyes, and sometimes a plastic light-up visor (the same model encouraged by the MtF furry grooming cult Korps). Lumin insists this qualifies as a real fursuit and has forced his way into fursuit-only group photos more than once, mostly because staff didn’t want to argue with him.

His fursona is a green husky, and according to Lumin, this slapdash outfit is the same character. How exactly the googly-eyed sunglasses relate to a green husky is anyone’s guess.
1703049198673.png1703049213057.png1703760147135.png

As of early 2024, Lumin finally acquired a proper fursuit resembling the character, but we’ll get to that later.
1707673682493.png

Lumin’s earliest social media account I could find appears to be his Twitter, which he created in early 2021 when he was still 16. Unfortunately, it seems he deleted or hid most of his existing tweets sometime in 2023 after he started receiving negative attention. However, most of the people replying to his tweets are still up, and we have some archives, so we can still get a general idea of what he was up to.

Among other highlights, we have sperging about inflatable toys, spending hundreds on furry pride pins, and getting a shoutout from the big-boob horse for sticking them in a video thumbnail without their consent:

As of this writing, his main platforms are his YouTube community page, Bluesky, and numerous Telegram Messenger chats he's in (some public, some not), but we'll work our way through each during this OP. On each of them, he frequently shares strongly opinionated perspectives on current hot-button furry issues and dramas.

At this point in the OP, you might wonder, "This guy just comes across as a typical self-important furry. What sets him apart?" The short version: he’s managed to rack up a surprisingly large ban list and animosity in a couple of years, which is especially impressive given his younger age. For the long version, keep reading.

Lumin the (formerly) underaged

1703126896516.png

(archive)
Lumin started his Twitter account at just 16 or 17 and quickly gained a reputation as an underage troublemaker, often lying about his age to sneak into 18+ spaces. This behavior sparked a lot of tension among other furries, and the attention it brought seemed to push him to keep up the act as he got older. Here are some examples of his underage antics I’ve managed to dig up from archives:

In July 2022, Lumin complained to Barq after getting banned for lying about his age on his profile.

In April 2022, Furrydelphia’s Twitter account told Lumin he was too young to apply for a staff position. In one of his videos, Lumin later mentioned that he turned 18 sometime in 2023, confirming he was underage when he first asked about volunteering at conventions.
1703049686655.png
(link)

In June 2022, someone accused Lumin of making extreme hot takes, doxing an individual, acting in a creepy manner, and trying to sneak into adult-only areas during Furrydelphia 2021.
1703049714916.png
(archive)

In a Telegram chat from August 2022, someone shared that Lumin openly admitted he knew lying about his age was wrong, but didn’t seem to care. He even said, “Yeah, I got banned from Barq for lying about my age, but anyway...”
1703751310758.png1703751354999.png
(link)(archive)

Lumin tried to host an inflatable fetish panel at Furrydelphia 2022, but his proposal was initially turned down because he was underage. He then persuaded someone else to submit the application and let him run it, but the staff caught on and ended up canceling the panel entirely.

Furpocalypse 2022’s BlueFolf stalking

Lumin’s behavior is weird across the board, but one incident in particular stands out: partly because it's so well-documented, and partly because it's just plain absurd. In October 2022, at Furpocalypse, a fursuiter who goes by Tripp encountered BlueFolf at the convention and invited Blue to hang out with him in his hotel room. It's important to mention that while both of these people have their own drama (Tripp appears several times in the Nitro Rooski thread, and BlueFolf has a whole KF thread of their own), that does not justify what happened to them next.

According to Tripp, Lumin somehow found out which room they were in, knocked on the door, and pushed past Tripp’s roommate as soon as it opened. He came in, aimed his phone at Tripp and Blue, took a photo, and then walked out without saying a word. Tripp was understandably grossed out by this behavior, so he messaged Lumin on Telegram Messenger to tell him off, then blocked him immediately afterward.
1703118672067.png

BlueFolf later reached out to Lumin, and while Blue’s tone was more courteous, the messages inadvertently confirm that Lumin entered the room without invitation (as across both sets of messages, all parties acknowledged the incident occurred). Tripp asserts that he reported the incident to Furpoc security shortly thereafter, though it remains unclear whether any action was taken by the staff.
1703118678401.png
This incident would end up becoming a recurring theme, so keep it in mind for later. But for now, let’s look at how Lumin behaves when he’s in full control of the narrative. Namely, his YouTube channel.

Lumin’s YouTube “content”

1703049799044.png
Lumin presents himself as a deep-diving analyst of the furry fandom. According to him, he covers “how the fandom works, how it came to exist, gained popularity, and the current news about furry art, fursuits, conventions, and LGBTQ+ involvement.” Essentially, he wants to be seen as a furry version of Internet Historian or Down the Rabbit Hole.

In truth, his videos are little more than rants disguised as commentary. Though he claims to focus on history and research, most of his content is dominated by opinion-heavy tangents padded with out-of-context Wikipedia snippets and unrelated anecdotes. Each video is packed with rapid jump cuts, muffled narration through his “fursuit” mask (even when he’s off camera), and the occasional random stock footage. Before Lumin’s notorious 2024 incident (more on that later), he was most active on his YouTube community tab, where he frequently posted long-winded takes on the latest furry drama, often home to his most questionable opinions. In addition, Lumin frequently deletes comments that correct or criticize him, so if you spot something worth sharing, grab a screenshot fast.

If I were to dissect every single one of Lumin's videos, this section would go on for dozens of pages. So instead, we'll just focus on four of his more particularly unhinged or mocked videos.

Notable YouTube Controversies

BetaEtaDelota

One of Lumin’s most infamous uploads is titled “BetaEtaDelota Is Killing Furry YouTube”, an attempt at a hit piece on Beta that's dripping with melodrama and comes across more like a tantrum. In it, Lumin chastises viewers for enjoying Beta's content and suggests that failing to dislike him makes you part of the problem.

(original video)
To be completely clear: Beta already has a Kiwi Farms thread and isn’t immune to criticism, but Lumin’s arguments are all over the place. The main points Lumin makes are as follows:
  • Beta’s videos have gotten longer and now feature some non-furry content like gaming, which Lumin labels “lazy” because of less editing.
  • He nitpicks the old clickbait thumbnails from some of Beta's earlier videos (even though Beta had already replaced those thumbnails well before Lumin made this video)
  • He accuses Beta of “harassment” for blocking him on Twitter after repeatedly spamming Beta’s replies with personal attacks and unrelated GIFs.
  • Lumin insists that anyone who criticizes his content is just a fanboy of Beta and claims Beta told his followers to flood all of Lumin’s videos with downvotes. He provides absolutely no evidence whatsoever to back this up.

Unsurprisingly, the video’s comments were flooded with pushback, even from Lumin’s subscribers.
1703155885790.png1703155891929.png1703155898180.png

The video managed to catch the attention of several more popular furry commentators (most notably LagoVirt, who we’ll circle back to later), all of whom quickly pointed out that Lumin was a massive hypocrite because he was doing the same things he was accusing Beta of. Lumin defended himself with a bizarre take: “It’s totally fine when I do it because I'm less popular than Beta.” (original) (archive)

Ruben Sim’s Anti-furry Bill

Ruben Sim is a YouTuber best known for clowning on Roblox’s terrible moderation that enables the exploitation of children. He’s also a semi-regular poster on Kiwi Farms and has a verified account here. In early 2023, Ruben pulled a prank: he tweeted that he’d convinced the state of Arizona to pass an anti-furry bill, urging people to call a number to support or protest it. The phone number itself led to a voicemail he owned.
1703052012588.png1703052018441.png
After a couple of weeks of baiting people, he posted this video of some of the angry voicemails he received. KF even featured it on the front page at one point; it’s worth a watch if you've never seen it.

Enter Lumin, completely missing the joke. Within ten seconds of his response video, he calls Ruben a “far-right Nazi extremist promoting mass violence” over this prank. He then praises Ruben for exposing predators on Roblox while mocking him over his legal battles with the platform. It's very clear in this segment that he's reading off someone else's script. The rest of the video is Lumin breathlessly reading off every single furry-related tweet Ruben had posted over the last couple of years, taking most of Ruben's shitposts at face value and falling for painfully obvious bait.

(original video)

The comments ratio speaks for itself: well over 50 comments pushing back, maybe five supporting him.
1703052285168.png1703052295470.png1703052306963.png1703052312055.png1703052322353.png

Ruben never acknowledged Lumin's video, but a few months later, he made a Roblox Tier List video. He included a "furry" tier and included a picture of Lumin alongside other known furry degenerates like BlueFolf and Hypnotist Sappho in a joke iceberg graphic.

Odin Wolf’s “Prank YouTuber” incident

(Odin Wolf’s KF thread)
This incident is detailed more thoroughly in the OP for Odin's thread. This is the short version.

In May 2023, Odin was selling merchandise at a convention when at some point, his trailer with unsold merchandise was stolen from the hotel parking lot. While he was standing outside dealing with the situation, another YouTuber named Bodittle (unaware of what had happened) approached and asked Odin to be in the prank video he was recording. Clearly upset, Odin told him to leave.

A few days later, Bodittle uploaded the video he'd recorded at the convention. Odin twisted the situation to center on himself by lying about what happened, claiming Bodittle was the one who stole his trailer, then rallied his followers to mass-report the video Bodittle made, which (surprisingly) ended with the video being forced down due to excessive false-flagging. The kicker? Odin wasn’t even in the video he wanted removed so badly.

Then came Lumin’s response video titled “Anti-LGBTQ+ Prankster Harasses OdinWolf.” Even though Bodittle’s video contained no LGBTQ+ content, Lumin insisted that his mere presence at the convention was somehow transphobic. The rest of the video was padded with Wikipedia statistics about hate crimes and a tangent about a (completely unrelated) fistfight at a furry event on the other side of the country.

(original video)

This was one of the rare times a Lumin video got more likes than dislikes, largely because many of his viewers were already Odin fans.

Lumin’s defense of Odin might not have been purely moral support, as they both share a niche interest in inflatable fetish content. Screenshots from a Telegram chat (posted later in this OP) suggest they interacted regularly there, and Lumin allegedly even cameoed in one of Odin’s now-deleted fetish-positive videos. Later, Lumin posted another video defending Odin after his YouTube ban, claiming Odin didn’t deserve to be deplatformed despite posting sexually charged content aimed at a mostly underage audience. I won’t go into the whole thing here since it’s covered later in the thread, but it’s classic Lumin: loud, misinformed, and defending someone simply because they didn’t block him.

Lagovirt’s Puppet Joke and ”””plagiarism””” Incident

This one has two parts, both driven by Lumin having a grudge against YouTuber LagoVirt for criticizing his previous content.

Part One: The Puppet Meltdown

In July 2023, Lago joked on Twitter about a dancing puppet that had become popular at Anthrocon, quipping that, given how drama-prone furries can be, someone would eventually try to cancel the puppet. A few days later, the puppet’s handler, HearthFox, came under fire for defending feral porn (aka porn of actual animals rather than humanoid furry characters), arguing it wasn’t immoral because “they’re just drawings.” Rather than address that issue, Hearth strangely shifted the outrage toward Lago’s earlier puppet joke, sparking a wave of harassment as his followers tried to pressure Lago into completely disavowing his online presence over it.

The whole affair, while overly long and autistic, is otherwise unrelated to Lumin. If you want a longer summary, it’s in the spoiler below.
If you’re not familiar with the dancing puppet, here’s a quick montage I took off YouTube set to some drum and bass:

original video

LagoVirt’s offending joke:
1703116119889.png

The conversation Hearth had three days later, which landed him in hot water for defending feral porn:
1703116199615.png1703116218421.png1703116234753.png

Lagovirt’s reaction and part of the slap-fight between Lago and Hearth:
1703116260620.png1703116303988.png1703116309721.png1703116317386.png1703116325736.png1703116335765.png

Lumin jumped into the drama by making a video only blaming LagoVirt for the situation. He claimed the puppet was meant as a tribute to Hearth’s late friend and accused Lago’s joke of being disrespectful to the dead. Yes, seriously.

(original video)

Commenters quickly called out the video’s factual mistakes, the most egregious being Lumin’s claim that Lago was using his larger follower count to harass Hearth. In reality, Hearth had about 30,000 Twitter followers at the time, while Lago had only around 6,000. Still, Lumin insisted Lago was “punching down” for unclear reasons. Rather than correcting himself, Lumin deleted opposing comments and carried on.
1703118067701.png

Part Two: The “Plagiarism” Reach

A few days later, Lumin released another video titled “Lagovirt Plagiarizes Videos.” His evidence? In one of his older videos, Lago read a Kiwi Farms post aloud while showing a screenshot of said post on-screen. That’s it. That’s the entire claim.

(original video)

Ironically, for a guy who hates this forum, Lumin has zero issues with using Kiwi Farms posts himself. In another of his posts, he posted a screenshot from CrusaderCat’s KF thread while whining about seeing him at a convention. So much for moral consistency.
1703118338997.png
(archive)

Later, NovelyJpg (another furry YouTuber) made a brief video where he criticized Lumin for outright lying about Lago and Hearth's follower counts and omitting key context. Lumin responded with a rambling email full of deflection and off-topic nonsense, which Novely then posted publicly.
Email Exchange 1.pngEmail Exchange 2 (1_2).pngEmail Exchange 2 (2_2).pngEmail Exchange 3.pngEmail Exchange 4.png

By February 2024, the saga came full circle when LagoVirt released a full video dedicated to Lumin and his behavior, a long-overdue receipt dump.

Furpocalypse 2023 Callout

Remember the 2022 incident when Lumin barged into Tripp's hotel room to take photos of BlueFolf? Jump ahead a year to Furpoc 2023, and somehow Lumin is not only planning to attend again but has also somehow scored a volunteer role that involves checking attendee IDs. In other words, a guy with a known history of stalker behavior was being trusted with access to people’s real names and badges.

When Tripp found this out, he posted a Twitter callout a few days before the con, reminding everyone of Lumin’s previous stunt and urging them to steer clear of him.
1703118717033.png1703118724328.png
(archive)

The callout took off. Dozens of people chimed in with their own stories: “I’ve dealt with this guy too.” “He’s been creepy for years.”
1703118748786.png1703118756622.png1703118770303.png1703118777862.png1703118794214.png1703118827706.png1703118839710.png

Lumin’s response? He fled to an unknown Discord's vent channel and whined, “I’m being canceled on Xitter.”
1703118917787.png1703118933097.png
(archive)

Among the stories that resurfaced was one especially weird gem, split across two furry meets. It's a bit long, so I'm gonna put it under a spoiler:
1703118951532.png1703118988580.png1703119150414.png
1703119218621.png1703121095288.png1703121113529.png1703121129969.png1703121151237.png1703121170881.png
(link)
TLDR:
  • At a furmeet held at a Dave & Buster’s, Lumin walked up to a stranger, stuck his hands in their drink to grab the fruit without asking, then drank it after they left in disgust.
  • At another furmeet, he was banned following multiple complaints about yelling, breaking rules, trying to enter off-limits areas, and generally being obnoxious.
  • When confronted, Lumin claimed anyone criticizing his behavior was “ableist,” accused several attendees of calling him a sexual predator (oddly, without naming a single person), and claimed the host was doxing him because they asked for his address to mail a charging cable he accidentally left at the meet.

Bonus: he was also kicked from a fetish Telegram chat for constantly whining about not being able to afford a fursuit. Odin Wolf makes a cameo in this one.

Lumin’s “Smoking Gun” Response

After the Tripp's Furpoc 2023 callout started gaining attention, Lumin posted on his YouTube community page that he would make a response in the next few days.
1703121497275.png
(link)(archive)

What finally followed was... a lot of deflection. He admits to walking into Tripp’s hotel room uninvited and pointing his phone at Tripp and BlueFolf, but claimed he never actually took a photo; he just aimed the phone at them and “backed out” at the last moment. He claims he only knew where Tripp's room was because he happened to be staying next door and had seen Tripp enter/exit at some point.

He tries to shift the blame, saying Tripp wouldn’t let him apologize because he was blocked too quickly (though that’s not true because Tripp’s earlier message in this OP was sent around 9 PM and mentioned that the incident happened “last night,” meaning Tripp waited roughly 20-24 hours before blocking Lumin). He then argues that since Tripp can’t prove whether it was a photo or a video, it shouldn’t matter. He then insists that because Tripp didn’t contact the police, he didn’t do anything wrong, insisting that the callout is just a smear campaign to get him banned from Furpoc.

He then shifts into a paragraph about being neurodivergent, explaining how it differs from autism, and somehow spends the entire second half of his response complaining about cancel culture and Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter. Most notably, he addresses only the Furpoc 2022 incident, completely ignoring all the other complaints people brought up.
1703121518954.png1703121532679.png1703121543496.png
(link)(archive)

To top it all off, he shared a link to a “MEGA folder of evidence.” Inside were exported Telegram chat logs, where Lumin shared his DMs with Tripp and BlueFolf.
1703121578814.png

The contents of these messages?
  • The Tripp DMs show Lumin spamming memes, getting told off, and getting blocked.
  • In the BlueFolf DMs, Lumin keeps spamming links to his videos, hoping Blue will promote his content. Blue mostly just ignores him.
  • A Twitter DM that's just a wall of text Lumin had a friend copy and paste to Tripp, which led to Tripp blocking the friend as well.
That’s it. That’s the “smoking gun.” It mostly confirms everything people were already saying: Lumin was annoying, boundary-pushing, and was repeatedly told to leave people alone. I’ll include a copy of Lumin’s “evidence.zip” at the end of this post if you’d like to read it yourself.

Lumin’s New Fursuit

In early 2023 (months before the Furpoc drama blew up), Lumin was working on getting a proper fursuit made that actually looked like his character, unlike the old facemask and wolf hat combo. The maker later said they had no idea about his reputation and wouldn’t have taken the commission if they had known his history. But since the suit was almost done and already paid for, they finished it, shipped it, and blocked Lumin after he confirmed he received it.

Due to Lumin later attempting to dox his suitmaker, I’ve chosen to censor their name from these screenshots. It remains uncensored in the archives.
1703121608935.png
(archive)

Lumin initially hyped up the suit in a long, enthusiastic post, repeatedly mentioning the maker by name. But after the Furpoc drama unfolded, he switched gears, blaming Tripp for "ruining" his debut and accusing the suitmaker of kicking him from their private group chat out of spite. The real twist came when Lumin accidentally admitted that while working Furpoc registration, he met Tripp in person and tried to forcibly grab his badge or lanyard, leading Tripp to report him again.

Despite all this, no one publicly harassed the maker. Even the person who revealed the suit’s origins emphasized not to go after them.
1703121744610.png
(archive)

Tripp bluntly told Lumin to quit playing the victim and fuck off already, pointing out that despite multiple callouts at this point, Lumin had only acknowledged the Furpoc incident and ignored the rest. Tripp also shared an email he received from an Anthro New England staff member, revealing they had been looking into Lumin long before this callout and expressing hope that ANE would ban Lumin.

Naturally, Lumin didn’t take the hint. He posted on his YouTube community page claiming he had called the internet police over people criticizing him. No, seriously. :story:

Lumin's Mass Ban From Furry (Early 2024)

By January 2024, Lumin had his new fursuit and was trying to make a comeback. He swapped his wolf hat and facemask combo for the actual suit head in his newer videos, but not before uploading a strange rant accusing his fursuit maker of “using” him for his clout, overlooking the fact that 1) Lumin was the one who contacted the maker first, and 2) his "clout" is his YouTube channel with a whopping 1,300 subscribers. Lumin would follow this up by posting some of their DMs, which backfired and made the maker look reasonable and himself unhinged. It mostly shows that the maker agreed to finish and ship the suit Lumin had paid for, but afterward wanted nothing more to do with him. Lumin ignored this, repeatedly bothering the maker to be added to a group chat with other suit owners, and “accidentally” doxed the maker in the process.

Then came the fursuit debut at a furmeet held in a small board game shop. Despite being told in advance that the event wasn’t suited for fursuiting and asked not to bring his suit (because of the limited space), he showed up in it anyway. According to someone who attended the meet, Lumin loudly interrupted conversations, knocked into people with his tail, and shoved his way into a group selfie. When the photo was shared in the group’s Discord, he reposted it on his own social media without permission from those in it. Shortly after, he was banned from the group entirely for making racist comments to a black attendee.
1707673104338.png
(I've elected to censor the photo due to Lumin publicly posting this against everyone else's consent.)

But the big meltdown happened near the end of January in Boston, at Anthro New England. Despite multiple warnings from concerned furries that Lumin would likely cause trouble if left unchecked, ANE staff still allowed him to attend. On day one, Lumin posted a creep shot on his YouTube community tab, complaining about someone filming without press badges. The person in the photo? Turkey Tom, a YouTuber there to film a video. It's also worth mentioning that while Tom was eventually told to leave, his video showed he had contacted several ANE staff beforehand, got permission to film, and was given the green light despite later being hassled over it. Regardless, Lumin’s hypocrisy here is priceless: he has a long history of stalking and filming people without consent, yet completely loses it when it happens in his proximity.
1707674777492.png1707674786815.png
(link)(archive)

Later, as Tom was finishing up filming and leaving the hotel, Lumin followed him outside, yelling at Tom and his cameraman to stop recording (all while filming Tom with his own phone). Tom tells his cameraman to focus on Lumin, who then freaked out and screamed “SECURITY!!!”, prompting Tom to just laugh and walk away. Lumin later claimed Tom had gone out of his way to harass him, but Tom’s footage clearly proved without a doubt that Lumin was the aggressor. Fortunately, Tom made sure to include his recording of this incident in the finished video.

(full original video)

But the real implosion came the next day. Lumin realized that his nemesis Tripp was also at ANE and decided this was the perfect time for a grand "confrontation."
1707698252817.png
Lumin participated in ANE 2024's fursuit parade, roughly an hour before he was banned from the convention (pic source)

According to a vlog Tripp made after he got home from the convention, he was casually chatting with a friend after the parade, at which point Lumin approached Tripp, slapped an envelope in his hands, and sprinted away. The contents of the envelope? A fake cease-and-desist letter that was poorly plagiarized from a free online template. Below is a photo of the letter Lumin handed to Tripp:

NOTICE TO CEASE AND DESIST

From
Lumin Clty

Date January 19th, 2024

Re: Defamation of Character - For Libel and/or Slander

Dear Tripp,

Lumin City is a respected professional in the community and has spent their life building a positive reputation. Nevertheless, we have been informed that you have been maliciously spreading inaccurate and unfounded information that is damaging to their personal and professional character.

Under the laws in the State of Pennsylvania, it is unlawful for an individual to make deliberate statements that intend to harm a person's reputation without factual evidence or based on hearsay.

The defamatory statements include, but are not limited to, the following: Stalking and taking a photo with BlueFolf cuddling a bed at Furpocalypse 2022.

If you do not cease all related statements a defamation of character lawsuit will be commenced against you.

In addition, this shall serve as a pre-suit letter demanding that you provide us written assurance within 3 days that you will cease and desist from making further factually untrue statements.

If you do not comply with this cease and desist letter within the aforementioned time period then a lawsuit may be filed in the proper jurisdiction seeking monetary damages as well as pursuing all available legal remedies for your defamation.

Sincerely,
Lumin City
In case it wasn't obvious, this is not a legal document. Among other reasons:
  • It’s not notarized by a lawyer.
  • None of the laws Tripp allegedly violated are cited.
  • Lumin signed a legal document with his fucking fursona name.
  • The first instance of his name is misspelled “LUMIN CLTY”.
  • Claims that Tripp’s actions violate Pennsylvania laws (???) despite Lumin living in New Jersey, the Furpoc stalking incident happening in Connecticut, and Lumin “serving” Tripp in Massachusetts.
  • Demands a reply in three days, but with no contact info.

Tripp showed the letter to Con Ops, who deemed it harassment and immediately banned Lumin from both the convention and the hotel. As Tripp put it in his vlog:
This situation is just bizarre. I've never been involved in a situation where someone hands me a fake cease and desist letter and claim it as a legit document [...] The fact they handed this to me and thought I would take this seriously is actually shocking. Anyway, enjoy your ban from every single con Lumin, and I hope I never see your face ever again.

According to someone who claimed to be Lumin's roommate at the convention, Lumin spent the rest of the weekend sulking in their hotel room, ate all their food and snacks, texted him nonstop every time they left the room, and (allegedly) shit himself in rage at one point.

Once the story broke, it spread like wildfire. In the weeks that followed, dozens of conventions, furmeets, and furry chats banned Lumin all at once. Many already knew about Lumin, but for most, this incident was the final straw. Null even mentioned the incident on Mad at the Internet, where he was asked to rate the letter’s legal effectiveness and gave it a 0 out of 10.

Lumin disappeared from the public for a few weeks, then tried to quietly return with a couple of weird posts and an odd tribute to a recently deceased furry. But the timing could not have been any worse: Within about 24 hours, Turkey Tom released the video he recorded at ANE, and LagoVirt followed up with a video devoted solely to Lumin. Tom’s video was flooded with comments recognizing and mocking Lumin, so Tom made a second video just to focus on Lumin (referencing most of this OP’s content. Props to Tom for at least having the decency to screenshot me in the video.)

For the next 12 months, Lumin wouldn't post very publicly. He was still very active on Telegram (where it was much harder to track his activity), but has mostly avoided public appearances or uploads. A common theory among furries was that Lumin's seemingly asleep-at-the-wheel parents finally noticed what was going on and forced him offline for his safety. To most furries, the bigger surprise was that he had parents at all.

Lumin's Sabbatical and Return (mid-2024-present)

1744577827319.webp
Lumin, April 2025. Yes, he seriously showed up to a political protest in his fursuit.

After being laughed out of most public furry spaces, Lumin mostly disappeared from in-person events and major social media for about a year, or at least seemed to. Behind the scenes, he shifted to Telegram, where his activity was harder to follow. He flooded furry group chats at an extreme pace: hundreds of posts per day in each group, often just “yeah I agree,” sticker spam, or other filler. From public chats alone, he was likely hitting around 3,000 posts a day, leading some to suspect he was a bot. This posting spree spanned over 30 convention and event chats, including ones he wasn’t attending or was already banned from. Naturally, people wondered: Why is this guy still allowed in here?

Lumin also made a brief appearance on WikiFur, where he wrote a self-congratulatory article about himself before vandalizing pages about controversial furries he didn’t like, adding lengthy, unverified rants. When his edits were reverted and he was told to knock it off, he lashed out at the admins, resulting in a temporary ban. Although that ban has since expired, he hasn’t returned.
1750022130823.webp

He attended Furpocalypse 2024, the same convention where his BlueFolf/Tripp stalking incident had occurred two years earlier. This time, the only notable moment was a video of his awful karaoke. A few months later, his relentless Telegram spam got him banned from the convention’s official chat. He ranted that moderators were morally obligated to entertain his behavior since he’d volunteered a single time, a logic straight out of incel forums. Then he tried to dox the chat mod who banned him, which led Furpoc staff to upgrade his chat ban into a full convention ban.
1744579036924.webp

At one point, he joined a scam-tracking Telegram group. Lumin’s overzealous, mall-cop style initially fit right in, or at least up until he melted the FUCK down over someone using AI art as their profile picture and got himself banned. He then guilt-tripped the admins, insisting his ban would somehow “empower scammers,” and even bizarrely accused the group of stealing his chat layout. The kicker? He posted the logs himself, seemingly convinced his behavior made him look good.

He responded by making his own scam tracking group and began obsessively filing dozens of reports a day. Soon, he stopped targeting actual scammers and just flagged everyone he disliked. Telegram eventually noticed his flood of reports about spam, assumed Lumin himself was the aforementioned spammer, then restricted his account, sending him into another spiral of rants about censorship and favoritism.
1744709047310.webp1744709103913.webp1744709007455.webp1744709189927.webp

He also found his way into more political circles, joining an art group led by HearthFox, the Anthrocon puppet handler he had once defended. Now fully in step with them, he even commissioned Hearth to draw his fursona wearing an Antifa bandana. At this point, most of the few people who still supported Lumin were Antifa hardliners who coddled him rather than holding him accountable for his years of shitty behavior.

By April 2025, over a year after vanishing from public platforms, Lumin reappeared on Bluesky, posting nonstop about Antifa, fascism, and politics. Given Bluesky’s heavy left-leaning crowd, you’d think he’d blend right in, but despite churning out dozens of posts daily, he barely got noticed. Most people found his behavior unhinged and quietly blocked him.

PROTIP: Lumin’s Bluesky privacy is set so his posts aren’t visible unless you’re logged in, which means they can’t be properly archived directly from the site. To archive them, just copy the post's URL into Skyview, then archive the Skyview page.

Interestingly, most of his posts have only one like: his own. Lumin regularly “likes” his own replies, which are often the sole interaction they get.

His Bluesky antics are hard to sum up, but I gave it a shot anyway by putting together this guide on how to post in a style similar to Lumin:

1748734068211.webp

Want to emulate Lumin’s Bluesky persona? It's easy! Just follow these steps.

What you’ll need:
  • Zero context awareness.
  • The gift of interpreting every meme or joke as a literal threat.
  • Equal parts unwarranted self-importance and selective amnesia.
  • A belief that rules only apply to people you don't like.

Step 1: The Hunt
  • Clear your schedule. You’ll need hours of uninterrupted screen time.
  • Open 200+ Bluesky tabs of random furries. Try to target random nobodies or mid-tier influencers who won’t notice you right away.
  • It's been 5 minutes. Have you found a vaguely conservative opinion yet?
    • If yes, proceed to Step 2
    • If no, pick one of the following options and repeat Step 1:
      • Repost some bland LGBTQ affirmation or anti-Trump meme.
      • Lower your bar for what counts as “conservative.”
      • Rant that AI bros and right-wing furries are plotting to destroy the fandom and murder minorities in their sleep.

Step 2: The Capture
  • Quote exactly one post, picked randomly from their account. Context only gets in the way.
  • Follow this exact formula: “[Target] is a nazi and believes [ridiculous thing you just invented].”
    • Bonus points for comparing them to Nazis, ChatGPT, or Elon Musk.
  • Never fact-check. Instead, drop five random links, dig up a random unrelated three-year-old tweet, and call it research.
  • Like all your own replies to simulate an audience.
  • Keep replying to yourself until the OP finally blocks you.

Step 3: The Victory Lap
  • Once blocked, immediately post: “[Name] clearly blocked me because they’re a Nazi.”

ACAB: All Children Are Blackshirts (May 2025)

Editor’s note: For this section, I’ve decided to censor most of the accounts interacting with Lumin and limit direct links to their posts. Lumin has harassed some of these individuals to the point that he attempted to contact employers, and in at least one case, mistakenly doxed the wrong person. Since most of the offending posts are still online, I’d prefer not to bring more attention to that information.

When Lumin returned to social media, he decided making videos wasn’t worth his time anymore and turned his attention to a new passion: Bluesky slacktivism. His first target? The New Jersey furry convention, Garden State Fur the Weekend.
1768179538342.png

GSFTW has its own special brand of chaos, but since this is the Lumin thread, the focus here is just on Lumin’s part in it. But as a quick TLDR: GSFTW saw multiple leadership shakeups (including a chairman once tied to someone who self-identified as a neo-Nazi), dealt with chronic understaffing, and during its 2024 event, willingly let Fox News into the hotel to film a puff piece on furries. Still, they pulled off an event with about 900 attendees in the first year and even set their sights on hosting a 2025 event.

Lumin shared that he was banned from the GSFTW chats in January 2024 for his behavior. Ironically, this happened about two weeks before his big incident at ANE, showing it wasn’t a preemptive move and that he’d always been an irritating presence. The ban email clarified it was only from the chat, not the convention itself.
1768178390463.png

Deciding to escalate, Lumin began aggressively a-logging the event and its organizers, which included doxing random staff members, the guests of honor, and even random Bluesky users who merely mentioned they planned to attend.
1768178576464.png

This behavior led to many people calling out his harassment, and GSFTW staff took notice, upgrading his chat ban to a full convention ban.
1768178669649.png1768179690178.png

Lumin eventually got his 15 minutes of fame when, about a week before GSFTW 2025, someone more popular than him quoted one of his posts, finally giving him the attention he craved. He jumped on the opportunity by replying to every single comment on those posts, while claiming that anyone showing even a passing interest in the event was automatically a Nazi. His posting during this time was completely unhinged, making over 500 replies on Bluesky in just three days, with his longest gap between posts being about 3 hours. Lumin literally spent three days straight obsessively responding to people about GSFTW.
1768179389005.png1768179474831.png
Lumin then decided to protest outside the convention’s hotel. He tried to get other furries to join him, but when GSFTW 2025 finally arrived, no one showed up at the planned spot. Determined not to quit, he spent the day a block from the hotel in his fursuit, switching between posting nonstop on Bluesky and screaming that everyone walking past him was a Nazi. Most convention attendees just walked past without paying him any attention.
1768180842991.png
When that failed to get him the attention he wanted, he began photographing passersby and posting their pictures on Bluesky with captions like “look at these nazis.”
1768179977691.png

Things took a turn when Lumin saw a mother leaving the hotel with her 12-year-old daughter. He snapped a photo of the girl without her consent and boasted about posting pictures of a 12-year-old Nazi, prompting the two of them to call him a pedophile for his creepy habit of taking unsolicited photos of kids.
1768180126668.png
(Lumin also posted a very clear photo of the girl’s face, which was quickly deleted a few minutes later. Due to her age and the nonconsensual nature of the photo, we will not be posting it here.)

See that police car? Turns out it was there for Lumin, after the mother went back into the hotel and got GSFTW to call the cops on him. Lumin responded by filming her yelling at him and repeatedly calling her a “nazi,” then posting this recording on his Bluesky. What happened afterward isn’t entirely clear, but Lumin claims the cops gave him a warning before escorting him away from the hotel.

Other Bluesky furries who witnessed Lumin’s behavior were quick to point out how disturbingly odd and creepy he was acting. Lumin, however, seemed to double down, claiming he needed to take pictures of children for the sake of fighting Nazis in a bizarre attempt at damage control.
1768180569657.png1768180759721.png

Ultimately, the convention wrapped up without further incidents, and GSFTW confirmed they had contacted the police. As of this writing, it’s uncertain whether GSFTW will be back in 2026, though it doesn’t look promising. If it doesn’t happen, it’ll probably be due to their own mismanagement rather than Lumin boasting about taking unsolicited photos of children.
1768181464963.png

I can confirm that after Lumin’s video was mirrored to the Farms, at least three furry convention staff members reached out to thank me for archiving it and said they plan to use it as evidence to ban him from more events, citing him as a clear safety risk.

In the end, all this really did was earn Lumin a few Bluesky followers and add even more events to his growing list of convention bans. Well done, Lumin.

Miscellaneous stories

Most of Lumin’s more concerning actions have been shared in private spaces like group chats, face-to-face meetings, or conversations that aren’t easily saved online. Because of this, this write-up focuses mainly on incidents supported by solid evidence such as logs, screenshots, and public records.

That said, there are plenty of smaller accounts shared by individuals that haven’t been independently verified. While these should be taken with a grain of salt due to a lack of hard evidence, they’ve been included for the sake of completeness, and sometimes because they’re strikingly consistent or particularly illustrative.

According to random furries:
  • Lumin has been banned from most major furry Telegram chats across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.
  • After being invited to the home of a furry who still lived with his parents, Lumin allegedly started harassing the host’s parents for no clear reason. This led to them escorting Lumin off the property less than 10–15 minutes after he arrived.
  • He was also banned from several Delaware fur meets and the New Year’s Furry Ball after accusing a transgender staff member of being transphobic. This apparently arose from the staff member banning another trans attendee for what was considered a very justified reason (harassing people in one of their chats).
  • Despite the ban, Lumin booked a room at a nearby hotel, was quickly spotted, and warned that entering the lobby would result in removal by security, spending New Year’s Eve outside instead.
  • At another fur meet, he was banned for yelling at someone during a medical emergency. Allegedly, someone at the meet had a violent seizure, and Lumin kept shouting at people to ignore them and focus on him instead.
  • He also received a permanent ban from a shopping mall hosting a fur meet after being caught eating food from a trash can, later saying he did it because he didn’t want to pay for food or ask anyone to buy something for him.

Closing Thoughts

Lumin is a clear example of what happens when communities prioritize unconditional acceptance over accountability. In places where even mild criticism is seen as extreme hostility, people who push boundaries like Lumin often face no repercussions until they become an undeniable problem. This isn’t unique to the furry or LGBTQ+ communities, but both have become increasingly resistant to fair criticism in recent years.

Lumin is a prime example of this issue. He’s quick to hand out harsh criticism but dodges responsibility when it’s aimed at him. When confronted with arguments he can’t counter, he defaults to deflection; deleting posts, going off on unrelated tangents, or acting like the incidents never happened. If he’s blocked in response (often due to his own aggressive or rude behavior), he immediately paints himself as the victim. To him, disagreement is harassment, and accountability is persecution.

A good example of this happened in April 2025, his hypocrisy was on full display: first declaring all AI use unethical, then just hours later bragging about using AI to summarize a long post. Both statements were public, made from the same account, and posted within seven hours of each other. But the message is clear: when you’re Lumin, it’s only wrong if someone else does it.
What might seem like typical online hypocrisy hints at something deeper. Disagreement gets labeled as discrimination, and dissent sparks calls for bans or blacklists. Surrounded by people who echo his views, Lumin operates in a space where accountability is absent. He’s had plenty of opportunities to step back, own up to his mistakes, and rebuild trust. Instead, he deflects, escalates, and pushes nearly everyone away.

Also, this isn’t related to anything, but I feel like this fetish video Lumin uploaded deserves to be put somewhere in the OP, so I’m adding it here:

It’s counterproductive, puts you under the same scrutiny, and if you do it anyway and get caught, we’ll dig up your personal information, mock you, and maybe even give you your own thread if you messed up badly enough.

Minor Updates

I don’t have the time or patience to fully incorporate all updates into the OP yet, so this section contains assorted relevant posts from the thread that haven’t been integrated.

  • April 7, 2025: Lumin randomly posts that he was sexually assaulted at a furry convention in 2021, when he was 16. He has refused to provide any details (time, place, assailant, or why he never mentioned it until now), only that the person was “Republican.” With no corroboration, the claim remains unverified.
  • May 17, 2025: Lumin posted fursuit photos showing severe matting and discoloration, suggesting poor maintenance despite the suit’s age.
  • May 27, 2025: After being added to a troll’s “mute these furries” list on Bluesky, Lumin created a spite list. Bluesky moderation removed it within hours for harassment, prompting another rant.
  • May 31, 2025: Lumin raged after reporting AI art on FurAffinity. Although the post was removed, he demanded the artist’s ban and clashed with an FA moderator, who told him to use FA's ticket system instead of ranting about it on Bluesky.
  • Jul 10, 2025: WIRED published a protest safety article illustrated with masked protesters, bizarrely including Lumin’s fursuit in the cover image.

So the biggest takeaway I can get from this is that he's not a groomer, he's not a troon (or at least one that actively tries), he hasn't fucked animals, but he's just such an insufferable faggot to be around that other furries (even the more degenerate ones) feel the need to constantly tell him to fuck off and stop being annoying, is that right?

So a cis dude. Got it.
I'm gonna be real, I don't know or care how his identity even works, but some of this guy's social media profiles prominently display that transgender flag emoji. There's some sort of identity there, I just don't know what.

Pretty much. I've seen countless threads where the subject is just such an insufferable person but it often ties into something else that tends to overshadow their behavior.

Lumin reminds me a bit of some of the older articles on Encyclopedia Dramatica that would make fun of shitty Deviantart users who were completely incapable of shutting the fuck up and would only draw more attention to themselves. No excessive politics or lgbtq sperging, and no need to read several pages of previous sagas to follow what's going on now. Just pure unfiltered autism. To me, it's a nice change of pace compared to some of the other cows on this site.

He/them/it...Thing? Seems to be amazingly annoying i am excited to see if this one goes anywhere!

He just seems like every other Furry I'm really not seeing the funny.
The funny is in the details. Even by degenerate furry standards this guy behaves like a sociopath. There aren't really any pics or recordings of shit he's done, only archived receipts from the numerous people he's interacted with about what a fucking loon he is. Getting blacklisted at events and attempting to trespass. Breaking into someone's room to take pics of them and never apologizing or explaining yourself. Writing out massive corporate level wall of text PR statements to defend against people calling you unbearable and socially retarded (those are really funny imo). Throwing tantrums and berating people who own fursuits because you really want one but you're poor and too stupid to make the money. Mimicking autistic meltdowns just to get attention. Visiting someone at their parents' house and getting thrown out 10 minutes later because you're a cunt.

Just think about it, if you get banned from 109 different furry conventions and none of it is because you're a pedo or a sex pest, what the hell are you?

I enjoyed this, good OP. Wish there were more direct caps of the shit he did but the future looks promising, since he's only becoming more unhinged while other furfags are becoming more wary of him.

For an 18 year old to be this socially dysfunctional, I'm assuming he has serious development issues or something - you can kind of hear it when he's talking through his stupid mask.

Also if a person like this buys into the LGBTQWTF spiel enough to say they're trans, just treat them like they are. That's really the only qualification at this point.

I refuse to believe somebody with a functional IQ above 40 would shove their hands in another persons drink to retrieve a fruit. There's just no way.

This thread isn't even visible to outsiders yet and Lumin's already written out more PR walls of text over this stalking/fursuit drama. (Side note: @Trombonista @0 2, do either of you have any suggestions for moving the thread into Animal Control? With the rate this situation is starting to develop, I feel like the sooner we can make it publicly viewable, the better.)

Anyways, Lumin got the fursuit and immediately started bitching about how the fursuit maker washed their hands of the situation, saying they were giving him the finished suit he paid for but wanted nothing further to do with them, explicitly refusing to do any repairs on the suit if he damages it (the shitty cropping on the email is Lumin's doing, not mine).

If you're wondering what kind of exceptional people would comment on this:
1703659510943.png
That last comment kills me, he genuinely believes he has enough of a following to make any impact on the suitmaker's business. :story:

As for that evidence link, it appears to be a telegram export of the conversations he had with the fursuit maker. Unlike the ones in the OP, however, it looks like he tampered with these logs, removing large chunks of the chat log and fucking up the formatting that telegram log exports normally have. In other words, it's difficult to prove any of this is true. I did a quick read of the log and it mostly appears to be fairly normal interactions between the two of them with discussions about payment and design choices. I'll look at it more closely later, but I'll attach a copy of the zip in case anyone wants to take a stab at it.

He then posted a second update claiming there's a police investigation happening (over what?) and he's making a big furry comeback for 2024. I have no idea how he plans to accomplish that, given his numerous bans at this point. Other members of the furry community are becoming increasingly aware of him, but I guess only time will tell how things unfold.

(link)(archive)

EDIT: There was an Outlook file in the zip that I was able to view, here's a screenshot of the email exchange (reads bottom to top):
1703661460114.png
Takeaways from the email:
-Lumin clearly edited this email so there's no guarantee this is even authentic
-Complains to the suitmaker he was kicked from their fursuit telegram chat without warning. Maker admits they didn't warn him at first, but confirmed multiple people were uncomfortable with him being in there.
-Lumin claims he was somehow swatted from being called out by Tripp. No evidence of this happening beyond "trust me".
-Accuses the suitmaker of running a smear campaign for retweeting a single tweet about the callout. Maker confirms they only retweeted one post and only did it for context.
-Lumin demands they upload a promised six-month warranty period despite the maker wanting to cease contact. Maker says no.

Please don't, "bury the lead," OP.

Lead with the meat of the content.

Sorry, I thought this was already moved. It's to the standard necessary to be placed into Animal Control.

Good thread, I got a few sensible chuckles out of it. Not every animal control thread needs to be a super cereal depressing as fuck zoosadism story.

The part about Lumin putting his hand in someone's drink to grab the fruit is the funniest part of this thread for me. Assuming this is in a bar, this retard decides that in order to get a fruit, he should grab one from someone's drink, which is disgusting as well as the person who bought the drink likely thinking that Lumin roofied the drink which would fall under intent to rape the drinker likely, instead of just asking the bartender for a fruit.
He then posted a second update claiming there's a police investigation happening (over what?)
I'm gonna assume this is related to the stuff mentioned about Tripp late into the OP of the thread since Lumin mentions reporting Tripp to the Cyber Police.
